Slaggis Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 There's only two good songs on "The Sweet Escape" by Gwen Stefani...she really messed this album up didn't she? Other than "Yummy" (It's so utterly wierd and I love the random lyrics) and "The Sweet Escape" it's just plain bad.
Coolness Bears Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 "Wanna spent the night don't bring Pyjama's...." my favourite line from the song! That Yummy Song is crazy!
Slaggis Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 "Wanna spent the night don't bring Pyjama's...." my favourite line from the song! That Yummy Song is crazy! They're my favourite too! Along with the "Sex and Sugar is the flavour" part of the song. It's so random, I love it.
Dyson Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Freezepop are so awesome. GH version is better than the radio edit, thus, GH vid it is. (It's also seriously good fun playing it on GH )
Ashley Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 I dunno, 'Don't Get It Twisted' is pretty good (don't get it twisted, don't get clever, this is the most craziest shit ever).
Sanchez Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Freezepop sound pretty awesome, I'll be checking them out. On an unrelated note, Infected Mushroom is badass I need more like it.
killthenet Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 So even though there wasn't a single guitar on that song, your character still plays it on guitar in Guitar Hero? So what, did they run out of songs that have guitars on them?

So what, did they run out of songs that have guitars on them? Yep, it's an odd one. But the guys (and gals?) at Freezepop actually have what I think are called Keytars, guitar style keyboards. May have just made that word up, but it sounds about right. Also the developers are pretty close with them and other bands that get bonus songs in guitar hero - IE, it's not a compulsary song.

Wonderful Life and Early Winter are the best on the album, and are the quality of LAMB, but wouldn't fit in. As for more fun tracks, Sweet Escape, Yummy and Now That You Got It 9Single remix) are ok. ----- Be Your Own Pet; The Kelly Affair LISTEN!
Eenuh Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 For some reason, makes me feel happy (on the inside).
Jamba Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Just chillin out to some Thievery Corporation... good old French chillout...
Paj! Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 For some reason, makes me feel happy (on the inside). I like that song, for a chart darling.
BeerMonkey Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 For some reason, makes me feel happy (on the inside). yea i love that tune have had it on my myspace page for weeks now
Slaggis Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 I just watched a video of Christina Aguilera singing live. I had no idea she could sing so well live. I was pretty impressed. Other than a little too much random warbling, she sounded pretty amazing. Her style might be screaming most the time, but when you sound that fantastic doing it, who cares? On another note, I love "Beautiful". Such a great pop song. Which of her albums is better? (not counting the first effort)
chairdriver Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Stripped. Actually a good album, and I loved her image back then (Dirrty and Beautiful), but then she went and ruined it with Back To Basics.
Paj! Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Hmmmm...I think the Marilyn Monroe look was good, and it worked well for that album. Back To Basics, though it's a massive album, feels far more solid, with less filler, or a least better filler. The singles from Stripped are better though. I've not listened to Stripped in ages.
Goron_3 Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 I've been getting into Muse recently. They are awesome.

I prefered the older look personally, thought I've never been a big fan of hers I've just liked a couple of her songs. Other than "Ain't No Other Man", I've not paticularly liked the singles from this album. I really liked a few from strpped though, I might have to get someone to lend me the album. Oh, and though the older look was better, she looks amazing here. And the opening note is fantastic!
Ashley Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 I wish The Format would get back together Today I have listened to their entire discography, watched their live DVD and watched the accompanying documentary.
ipaul Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 I've been getting into Muse recently. They are awesome. Origin of Symmetry is a brilliant album Citizen Erased and Space Dementia are my favourites, what about you? (or anyone's favourite muse track)
DomJcg Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Feeling good's awfully good, um, new born and bliss are good But i loved Knights...um oh! and Uno!
chairdriver Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 I need to get more of Kate Bush's stuff. I just love that her voice is so clear. Like you can hear what she is singing a mile off. Babooshka = win.
