The Bard Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Sex Pistols are one of the worst bands ever.
Mr-Paul Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Sex Pistols are one of the worst bands ever. I wouldn't say they're one of the worst bands ever. Sure, they aren't technically any good, Johnny Rotten can't sing, but they are entertaining, and I like punk, so should be a good experience, seeing they are a quite "legendary" band.
jayseven Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Sex Pistols are one of the worst bands ever. ah! fishing for arguments :P Shame on you. I don't particularly care much for them, but they represent an an era, don't they? Part of a movement and all that.

Part of a movement and all that. Doesn't mean they're not shit. I'm not fishing for an argument, It's just that they have absolutely zero musical value. If you want decent punk go listen to Bad Religion or The Misfits...or Discharge...o_0

You may not like her because of the negative attitude the press seem to have made for her, but surely you can't deny that at least sounds the slightest bit good? --- Just found an article from an american magazine that had printed the 10 best albums of 07 by public vote. (I will find the link in a minute) 10. Avril lavigne- The Best Damn Thing. 9. Mika- Life in Cartoon Motion 8. Maroon 5- It Wont Be Soon Before Long 7. Rihanna- Good Girl Gone Bad 6. Timbaland- Shock Value 5.Foo Fighters- Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace. 4. Kanye West- Graduation 3. The White Stripes- Icky Thump 2. The Arcade Fire- Neon Bible 1. Fall Out Boy- Infinity On High. Agree, disagree?
The fish Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Get rid of Rihanna and add In Our Nature by Jose Gonzales in there, and I'll (roughly) agree.

Most the Albums on there, minus Fall Out Boy, Avril Lavigne, Arcade Fire and The White Stripes I've not really heard.

Hem Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Here's hoping Pitchforks list will be a little more easier on the eyes.

Agree, disagree? Just because it's a public vote doesn't mean it's right. You see, the public is stupid. The only album I agree with to a certain extent is Icky Thump. ESP&G is a real disappointment.

The only album I agree with to a certain extent is Icky Thump. ESP&G is a real disappointment. Theres only 3 decent albums on there, Foos, White Stripes and Arcade Fire. My favourites of the year are probably Modest Mouse We Were Dead Before The Ship Sank or Because Of The Times by Kings Of Leon
