The greatest moment in games

Recommended Posts

have you ever felt Emotional in a part of any game like for example.

when Link does the final blow to Ganon, in Ocarina of Time

or,

when in final fantasy VII the part where Aries dies, or right at the end of the game of Final Fantasy VII.

and,

in Super Metroid when you fight Ridley and Mother Brain.

what is the part you really loved the most in any game?

just put down any of what you think is the greatest part in any games.

mine are the ones i gave up the top.

So many parts of so many games, the most recent, Wind Waker. When meeting the Deku tree and he starts speaking in ancient Hylian, seeing you as the Hero of Time!

Beautiful!

EDIT: I can't leave it at just that! lol

Ocarina of Time, watching the ending after defeating Ganon, I had a real sense of acheivement! such an amazing game!

Super Metroid, the Metroid (now adult) attacking Mother Brain, draining it of it's power then syhponing the gained enrgy into you so that you can defeat it!

The whole chase section on Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater. Its probably something I’ll never forget as well as the great music that added to the whole experience. The ending for that game was pretty emotional too.

Another gaming moment I’ll probably never forget was getting online for the first time on Phantasy Star Online for the Dreamcast. Seeing a lobby slowly fill up with everyone’s different characters and everyone talking to each other was just brilliant.

Also Link delivering the final blow to Gannon in Ocarina of Time is one of my favourite gaming moments too.

The best for me hands down has to be in Super Metroid when

The baby Metroid goes ape shit on Mother Brain

. The usually cold and calculating Samus becomes enraged.

Another is the finishing blow in Wind Waker, somehow more brutal than anything in Grand Theft Auto

Also the final level in Kid Icarus, when you realize the useless items you collected in the previous stages have transformed you into a total badass.

In OOT when you pull out the Master Sword and the Sage tells you that you are some years older now and when the young Deku tree tells you, that you are Hylian.

Metroid Fusion: when you get your normal suit back

Wind Waker: being in Hyrule

Lylat Wars (Starfox 64) when you meet you're father after defeating Andross

Starfox Adventure: When Fox gives a Starfox Team emblem to Tricky.

Playing the water temple in OOT, pure genius. The fading dark samus, at last. Jumping on the helicopter after beating alec treyvalian in oo agent. Replacing the master sword to the sound of the bells at the end, i wept. And collecting 120 dark souls to give them all back to legion , achievment.

Diving off the bridge

in Ocarina of Time. The final cutscene in Starwing

"This is Coneria - Pepper speaking: Congratulations, on a job well done!"

The last twist in Links Awakening. The opening 5 mins of Goldeneye. The final boss battle in The Wind Waker. Winning the Poke-league in Pokemon Red/Blue. The Halo level title:

"I could've been your daddy"

The Matrix level in Conker's BFD.

Getting your own base

in Skies of Arcadia.

Mike's tragic end

in Resi4. And many more. Many, many more.

PS. I may have been slightly zealous with the spoiler tags, but I'd complete all the games mentioned before checking the spoiler if I were you. It's best that you experience them fresh.

When Chrono died in Chrono Trigger.

It utterly shocked me.

DAMNIT.

I KNEW i shouldn't have come into this thread. Now im fucking spoiled.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Those spoiler boxes are too tempting.

Ok cheapshot, put a serious warning there. Or say what game it is. Because i highlighted it just to see what game it was and i just ruined alot of the game for myself.

I have to agree; the hyrule in WW is a joy to explore, especially when it comes back to life.

I didn't really like the WW Hyrule very much because it didn't resemble any part of OOT's Hyrule in any way; when surely it should have been the same, except in the new graphical style.

I didn't understand why!
