christophicus Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 yeah but how many blutooth connections can there be a one time?? Id think the max is four, granted you wont be using four wiimotes at once with this game but it stop other games from doing so.
Cube Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 yeah but how many blutooth connections can there be a one time?? Id think the max is four, granted you wont be using four wiimotes at once with this game but it stop other games from doing so. Maximum is 7. I don't see how you would need more than 2 connections when using headsets - split-screen online, with 2 people at the same Wii using different bluetooth headsets sounds awful..
christophicus Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 7?? thats cool. yeah i suppose your right.
Charlie Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 http://uk.wii.ign.com/articles/727/727452p1.html IGN say it as a fact. http://Www.wii.com says its a fact too.
Zechs Merquise Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 This needs online. It wouldn't work as a split screen. I can;t wait for this, it's my most wanted Wii game so far.
dazzybee Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Surprised noone's commented on the front page news that this has LAN (Thank God) and online play for all multiplayer modes!! Awesome news, I love the first one and this should improve on it in every way!!!
Retro_Link Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 This game should be awesome! Great that this one has multiplayer and online multiplayer at that!
ShadowV7 Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I am extremely looking forward to this game mostly due to online.I'm hoping for a release in August when they get MP3 and we get MP3 in September when they get BWii.
Hero-of-Time Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Theres a scan over at GoNintendo of Nintendo Power which has this down as 24 September for the US.
The Bard Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Yeah, this game will suck online unless there's VOIP.
ShadowV7 Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Yeah, this game will suck online unless there's VOIP. I'm with you all the way on this one.Hopefully it will since that musical game is out about the same time. It really does need VOIP though and it suits it so well.Even if it's friends only you can talk then i'd be more than happy.
welsh_gamer Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Got my fingers crossed we shall get this before the beginning of October. Nintendo have enough first party titles to release during the christmas market. No need to keep this one back till then!
Cube Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 WHat do we have to communicate with online though? Do you not know of the Wii's Secret Telepathy features? Either Nintendo will be helpful and release the game with a headset, be half-helpful and include a VoIP feature, but sell the headset seperately, or just not bother with it at all.
dazzybee Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I'm more excited about the LAN personally, we have three Wiis in our house in three rooms, we can just shout at each other!! It's gonne be awesome!!! Calling all developers, please include LAN in every Wii online game!!! AND Split screen!!
immy Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I see this is coming out near to halo3 kind of sent out to die really
dazzybee Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 No, completely different audience, it'll do just fine. I wonder how many online it will be - probably two but would be great to have 8!
immy Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 No, completely different audience, it'll do just fine. I wonder how many online it will be - probably two but would be great to have 8! Yeah but there will be alot of buzz when it comes out and so overshadow it
mcj metroid Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 isn't it the exact same day as halo 3? Oh dear......
Speedfreak Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Day before Halo 3, which is a heck of a lot better than the day after. Really should be a week before or a month after to stand a chance, though. Though, actually, Wii will probably have a larger installed base by the time these games come. Targeting a specific market doesn't make much difference. The month after Halo 2 was released, game sales on ALL platforms were dead.
Zechs Merquise Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 To be honest, Halo 3 will swamp it, but I don't care, this is THE game to own and the reason for Wi Fi! I hope there are some serious N-Europe Tournaments on this one!
Teppo Holmqvist Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 The month after Halo 2 was released, game sales on ALL platforms were dead. And it was because of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, not Halo 2.
ReZourceman Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 If we get a headset, how do you guys think it will work/connect to the Wii? Wirelessly?
The Bard Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 And it was because of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, not Halo 2. I'm pretty sure Halo 2 sold more than GTA:SA. If it didn't then it's totally unjust since Halo 2 is a far better game.
