The Alice books are really good. I'm guessing you never read them ReZ?

I'm only mildly interested in this Alice. I like old Burton. Not keen on his newer films, which seem to exist in a universe of the cgi backdrops and slight doft-focus over everything. It's so horrid and claustrophobic. I'll wait to judge the film properly once it's out though.

Edit:

Now someone please help me clean up this mess I made, it got into the keyboard and hit my colleague square in the eye.

To be fair, serves her right for watching.

Though "standing, aghast" would probably be a more appropriate term than "watching".

This looks awesome. James Marsden FTW.

You know what I rented a DVD the yesterday that was called... 'death at a funeral'! I think it's a British version of this film, it's pretty damn recent (it has Matthew Macfayden from Spooks, Chris Marshall and Alan Tudyk in it) and I was very confused about why the film I'd watched a trailer for on here was in DVD form at the local Library. So there you go, it's a remake.

(I know its a remake because on the front cover Alan Tudyk is nekkid)

Its about dreams or something. Everything exists within dreams or I don't know.

Is it flickery for everyone else, or did it fuck up for me somehow?

Anyway only interested because of JGL. DiCaprio is the film star version of Ready Salted Crisps. But it does look cool.
