^ ^ Best cover of all time.

Sorry to hear it man. It's always hard even with small creatures like hamsters. It was really hard when my cat Elvis died. I'd had him so long that loosing him was like loosing this constant part of my life. He was there, good and bad, through all my youth and changes. I still miss him an awful lot from time to time. It pisses me off when people say cats are just mercenary things because Elvis was anything but. He was my friend and my companion for life and he absolutely adored me. Even so I knew putting him down was the best choice for him. He was very ill and it was an act of mercy. You can always take solace in that with your hamster too. it helps

The first one is also great. The Second is a cool middle act and Ultimatum is probably the best action movie of the decade. This looks quality, anyway. I love the Coens, love the cast, love the setting already...Yeah. Sold.

Nope. LA Noire uses real time facial recordings for all it's animation- literally like motion capturing all the muscles and whatnot- that's recorded while the actors deliver their lines in the studio. And it's all in game too.

So I paid up for a faction change last night. £20 for a new server, race, gender and name. All I have to keep is my class, which seems fair :p Headed for Bloodhoof Horde if anyone cares to follow suite.
-
Of course you do.

I actually think the multiplayer would work well. Just off the top of my head I can imagine it being a decent class based team shooter. asymmetrical teams of, say, Krogan soldiers vs Asari Commandos or Geth tech specialists could be excellent. Assuming it comes at no detriment to the singleplayer game, I hardly see any kind of reason not to give it a shot.

Yeah I was kind of pissed. It looks cool but I can honestly say it basically maps the entire dramatic arc of the movie start to finish. Pretty ridiculous.
-
That does look pretty good. Shame the 'teaser' trailer is more or less a plot synopsis.

Isn't AC's multiplayer meant to be pretty decent? Also: Splinter-Cell provides an ample blueprint for how story heavy games unsuited to deathmatch can provide solid and unusual multiplayer.

Coming in as a comic fan, I think the acting is good. The guy playing Dale has it absolutely nailed, and Rick aint bad either- though he's not portraying the Rick I know now. He's playing old Rick, who still has time for the trappings of the real world. I suspect he's doing quite well. Glen has come out well too. He's always been a favourite of mine in the books and, again, it's a very faithful portrayal. The weakest of the bunch are, generally, the new characters. Miscellaneous Minority Squad have all been pretty weak.

Brubaker on Cap is one of the defining runs of all time- especially with Barnes taking on the role later on. It's been absolutely amazing.

well dick to that! I want to play as fucking Nightcrawler, not some generic blank slate.
-
In the original Avengers story- and I mean #1 back in the day- Loki manipulates The Hulk in to going on a rampage basically for shits and giggles. He's very much a background villain most of the time so I imagine they'll be doing the same here.
-
Fucking hell. It's going to be one of those games where your main character is a fucking shoe in cypher and all the X-men you actually want to play as are NPC's, isn't it? oh, cock.

Someone took the name TerryWorgen on my server. I mean, what's even the point now?

Just finished the first season. It's great Funny as fuck sometimes and the cast are great. Storylines could have been stronger overall but the highlights were very good. Particularly liked Curtis' episode.

Wait...what? Really?
-
Oh, I know. I'm still blazing through though.

dude...what the fuck?

Getting close to 78 now. Come on, Warrior! Fury spec is amazing for levelling- you can take on 3-4 mobs at your level at once, come out of the fight on full health thanks to self healing skills and then proc a skill that takes you instantly to the next fight. There is practically zero downtime between battles and combined with my fast gryphon mount it just means I'm hoovering up quests like there's no tomorrow and burning through whole levels in no time at all.

Ha, awesome. I love that character design. This is the all ages book yes? I'll pass.

This week's episode of Imagine on the beeb was a cut of the new Bruce Springsteen doc The Promise about the making of Darkness on the Edge of Town. I've not watched it all yet but it seems pretty much awesome.
