Finally coming out on the other side of this flu- I've honestly pretty much been asleep since Monday but I managed to haul my ass out of bed today and I'm feeling a lot better. Had quite possibly the finest shower of all time too.

Hard to say if it's properly gone or not- last time it was just a database error and it came back soon enough.

It's all relative innit? 9 Million is a lot but you get about 34,000 per quest in Deepholm alone and that scales up through the zones too. Hyjal is almost exactly 80-82 end to end. Presumably, the latter zones are similarly worked out.

Ok so what I felt earlier was basically a minor preview of the main event: Currently burning up on my head, freezing elsewhere and the cough now makes me feel like my lungs are full of powdered glass. bailed on work fairly sharpish in the end and promptly passed out soon as I got home, only to wake up feeling much, much worse than before. Great.

That's fucking outrageous.

Currently feel like death barely warmed up- picked up a cough from my mum and my chest is so tight it feels like I've been punched. Gyuuah. Wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to spend my entire day in a call centre.

The Lost and Damned was excellent on GTA4. In fact, I thought it was a much better game than the original. Make of that what you will.

DLC is often great. Halo, for example, was a bit of a market leader with map packs scheduled post release. It's arguable that maps that might have made the disc were held back for DLC but really the design team just keep working once the disc game is finalised (which is far earlier than most people seem to realise, hence the bitching) Invariably, this kind of development = better games. Especially in multiplayer games where developers can see how the game evolves in the wild and make informed choices when designing maps. so yeah as a big multiplayer man myself, I'm pretty pro DLC.

that 'heads video is from Stop Making Sense, which is an absolutely slick album. It's all live, and I prefer their stage versions to most of the studio recordings; they're warmer, with more funk and depth.

Everything wrong with drugs. / Everything right.

I've always said it's not for everyone- and your friend sounds like the classic self destructive type who should have stayed well away from the start. But it's all relative. I started with weed, went on to try pills, MDMA and Ket and I'm fine. I don't need them, I'm not addcited in any way at all and I've suffered no ill effects from anything I've taken. Society saying 'drugs are bad, mmk?' as some...definitive end point is stupid. equally, people saying you should definitely try them are themselves being narrow minded. It's an individual choice. I personally don't see the harm in most drugs so long as the person taking them is informed and responsible. I wouldn't assume everyone wants to try them on that basis, though.

You're my hero.

He's way better than Jackson- just so much more going on.

Weed is nice. Skunk, which is increasingly common, is rotten stuff. Kind of done with weed though anyways. s'alright n all but i have a sense of been there done that about the whole thing.

Genuinely amazing track. Like you say, that backing beat so sick. I could, and may well, listen to it for hours. Joyous.

Sweet. Any chance you could pop it in the post? Will compensate you when I send it back.

orite punks. Got me some new HDD for my xbox but I need to transfer my junk over- gamercard, saves and games n all. Anyone got one of those fancy transfer cables lying around? I need to get my hands on one but, being a tight arse, I thought I'd see if I could borrow one off a lovely forumite for mere PnP. Also: how do they work? please tell me I don't have to run two xboxes at once or something.

Hyjal is probably the best questing zone I've ever seen. It's absolutely amazing.

Fair point. Still kind of blows though.

I think pity has always been a part of zombie fiction. It certainly has been for me, so the way they set that up works I think. \ In later episodes they definitely make more of an effort to emphasise just how dangerous the zombies can actually be. In the books it's been a long time since Team Grimes were really put in danger by the dead and it's nice to go back to the start in a way and see them terrified of the zombies again.
