The whole idea behind his science skill is that he's a genius. Not smart,but an actual genius, potentially wasting his potential as Spider-Man. He should have gone on to found bio-tech think tanks or something but as it is, Peter parker can barely hold down a part time job. I always liked that in Ultimate spider-man, Ben tells him the power and resposibility line in relation to doing his homework because he can, and should, use his inteligence to help the world. it just doesn't end that way.

Sauce. This is absolutely astonishing. Capcom have literally stolen everything about 'Splosion Man in an audacious breach of copyright and are basically relying on Twisted Pixel's inability to fund court proceedings (It'd be civil action, see) to remain untouched by the law. I've never seen anything like it. I highly recommend watching the youtube footage of the game to see just how blatant this is.

The Living Daylights was also good. I think. Been a long time since I saw it but it was always the darkest of the series.

Don't worry- it's mostly people trying to convince themselves that the heartbeat sensor will be used for Resident Evil on Wii HD.

Well for me I just don't think Nintendo make games I want to play any more. The Wii is part of that, but it goes back to the GC too. I remember thinking how weak Twilight Princess was because Nintendo relentlessly recycled the Zelda format over and over- they gave up on the modern game market way before the wii launched.

Apart from the occasional go on Mario Kart DS, I've not touched a Nintendo machine in several years, so I never go in the company gaming boards. In fact, I haven't even seen the main site in months, if not years either. I only link directly to the forums- from there I go straight to General and sometimes Other Consoles but that's a pretty weak board anyway and I generally get my game talk on over at Edge. There's a much stronger sense of multiplayer there, with people coming together regularly as a whole forum to play new games online and such. So yeah, mostly General.

I really don't get the fuss over Queen. Except the Flash Gordon theme, of course.

Interpol was ok, but not so memorable. Fittingly for a self titled album, it kind of felt a bit Interpol-by-numbers. It's no write off, but it didn't exactly stand out.

As emotional opening statements go, this is flawless. Absolutely sublime introduction to the album as a whole.

Seriously though: resident evil 5 is balls.

Easily the best two episodes of House to date. Other season finales have been good (they always have been) but that was a tour de force. Six Feet Under springs to mind- it was a show that sticks in your head for weeks and months when it finishes and remains one of the most emotionally complex and honest programs I've ever seen. Very, very powerful stuff.

Exactly, right! although, really, I thought the badshits should have been a more immediate threat. I'd have liked to have seen them wreck more shit as a general note on the game.

My objection to it isn't the subject they've chosen (clearly room for decent drama) but that they've done it with all the sensitivity and nuance of a bull in a china shop. It's been done so badly that it actually lowers the bar for...everything. Eastenders is a lunatic cartoon of real life- it jumped the shark years ago but even for them this is pretty base.
