  1. She can't fly! but she has a plane! Fuck. That. Shit.
  2. Well that was pretty awesome. Any word on when one might be able to get ones Chuck on again or is it carrying through?
  3. I need me some comics. Hap, what's the latest?
  4. Weird- I've never notice quarian feet being like that. Kapow.
  5. .....shit.
  6. Here's what I'd like to see: Hugo Strange is behind Venom, creating Bane Bane 'does Knightfall' and breaks Batman However, following the events of TDK, other vigilantes have taken up Batman's crusade including a morally ambiguous Catwoman and Nightwing, played by JGL. Allied to Batman, Nightwing ends the movie by adopting the mantle of the Bat, passed on by Bruce Wayne. The trilogy is concluded by Wayne being surpassed by the symbol he created and Gotham remains protected.
  7. You're PREGNANT?!
  8. You're already my candle in the dark, buddy.
  9. I actually made a pretty good post, then the forum ate it. Moar soon, Rez.
  10. Yes! Bardem is amazing- looking forward to this one.
  11. Here's my new favourite one: application forms that include compulsory questions about employment history that take ages to fill in, then ask you for a C.V of employment and education history.
  12. Those kind of questions make me want to die. Human resources shite, the lot of it.
  13. I do what I can to keep this place going, you know. Seriously though- Weezer? The Blue and Pinkerton albums were great but that was a long, long time ago. All they've done since is moribund, uninspired crap.
  14. Awesome-o. JGL needs to be in everything
  15. That's actually a very good shout- fits the bill perfectly too. Yeah, everyone go watch Brick mmmkay?
  16. Weezer? Hahahaha.
  17. Anything been announced in the land outside metal?
  18. Page is too short. She's ace, but she's a midget. That guy playing Supes is fookin huge, so it'd look even sillier.
  19. I've always felt that trying to work out what happens in a Lynch movie is kind of a fools errand and probably a bit besides the point.
  20. Evening forum! Guess what I'm doing! I'll save you the trouble because it's so easy... Yep! Watching tv downloads, playing some games and trolling rez posting on here. and I'm bored. Massively, brain numbingly bored. I wasn't in doing this, I'd probably be either at the pub (yay for wasting money!) or playing Catan (Ok, that's awesome but besides the point) The point is that My Routine Is Killing Me and I need something to do. I was thinking I need something like a book group...but I'm not sure how to find one. Google has come up FAIL, as has Gumtree. Even if I did find any evidence of such a pastime in Sheffield, most book groups are more adult affairs and I'm not sure anyone in their mid twenties does that kind of thing. so there's that. I think this is quickly becoming a rant, but I need new stuff to do with my time, I need a way to find it. I need ideas, damn it. Come on internet!
  21. I still don't like the use of the Unreal Engine but the first game was so bloody good that this remains pretty high on my list. It was about as close to perfect as any super hero game has ever come and that goes a long way in my book. Especially when it involves hip poppingly brutal martial arts as The Batman.
  22. Ebay ftw, I believe.
  23. Just got back from this. Absolutely loved it- blates an awesome film. Franco was just awesome in the lead. Considering that the camera barely leaves him for the duration, it's really quite an amazing performance. The dénouement was...well it was everything you'd expect for a film in which a man hacks his own arm off with a shit pen knife, so there's that. But that only feels like a very small part of a much large picture that captures the character of Aron perfectly and the psychological journey he goes on to reach that moment of sheer willpower. Brilliant. And yes, such a sexy film. Boyle sure knows how to use a camera. I think my favourite parts were how well he captured those flashes of memory and sensation like his ex running her finger over his chest. it was beautifully done.
  24. I think my fave film about drugs remains A Scanner Darkly. It's really very, very clever. Perfect combination of narrative and visuals, fantastic casting (basically a bunch of Hollywood-ers known for their drug history) and a flawless grasp of drug use. I loves it. edit: and Fear and Loathing, obviously. Watching that stoned sent my mate in to a whitey, so mind out.
