Went for a run today with mates of mine, hadn't run since 20th of Dec and I also didn't have anything to eat for a while. I was stuffed after it all ran over 2km and I just couldn't go no further.

Nintendo 2010: A Taste Of Things To Come!
killer kirby replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
....Jesus, I am scared to see what the rest of the year will be like after Q1 this year -
Avatar The movie was awesome, didn't see much of it to be honest, so I guess not knowing much made the movie even more enjoyable (Fact is I never pay attention to any movies really) 7/10 Sherlock Holmes This movie truly surprised me the most, I really thought it was going to be the typical type of movie, but I was stunned how everything went, how they mixed the action that felt modern yet the solving the crime was fantastic and felt like I was reading/watching an old show/book. I look forward to the next one. 7/10 It's very surprising how many awesome films came out last year, truly a looooooooooot better then 2008 borefest

Funny you mention that, in town today I saw a Muslim with the headgear on but with the exact same pants and walking the same way you described the person you saw...I had to look away from him, I was almost going to burst out laughing right in front of him. If only I got a picture >_>

The house I live in is all to myself at the moment and it's a mess!!! so now I am cleaning it all up, which gives me the shits since I wasn't the one that made this mess >_> I also just finished work a couple of hours ago and now it's 3:54am right now in Australia, and I have no urge of sleeping, and even trying I will not go to sleep for a while, so this is annoying. and it's HOT! yes, we have summer at the moment, how is winter over there for you guys?

Yeah I get at time that I don't have motivation to play a game,I feel like I am coming back into it. There are days where I just don't want to even look at the console, yet there are days for me where I have the biggest urge to spend hours straight on a game...you will have the urge when something you really really want to play comes out. While your not playing games on a console, play games outside, still as fun IMO, at times just for random I just hire out a court and play squash, tennis or whatever I feel like with friends

I am surprised no one has yet posted a thread like this, so I may as well put one in the Retro gaming. So from the past 10 years, what has been the games you have played and loved, and please if you can describe your love for the game rather then just saying what they are, makes it more interesting Oh and also don't put any remakes or ports please of older games made before 2000 it will be more fun to give credit to games that were really awesome original games May as well start with myself to get things started. 10.Retro Game Challenge [DS] This game is just nostalgic gold while at the same time feeling fresh and original, the game contains 8 old school games which some are sequels to one another, from space shooters, too platforming and hardcore old school RPG game, there is lots to love about it. Plus all the little extras that are within the game truly brings a smile to my face when thinking what it used to be like in those days. 9.Rune Factory Frontier[Wii] It's harvest moon + Dungeon Crawling, and it's on the Wii...what more could I want I have spent HOURS on this game and it makes it even worst that they keep a track on how long you have played it for just to dig into me just how much of my life I have spent on it. It's addictive, really addictive, you just can't help but forge weapons, raise crops, take care of your livestock, fight monsters and then make friends with the townspeople. Yeah, the game is hard to stop playing...very hard. 8.Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town[GBA] What makes Harvest Moon: FoMT top Rune Factory Frontier is really the fact that it's been out longer and has consumed more of my life then well...most other games, it was a game I bought that while at the time was a huge drought for games, and by God, even with all the hours I have put into it, I have yet to finish the game, there are still many things I need to collect and try to buy. Plus having it portable just made me play it even more since I was playing it while in a car, on a train, on a bus and before going to bed. I hope one day I can finally complete everything in the game, but at the moment I need to stay away from it since I have too many other games to complete at the moment. 7.Metroid Prime[GCN] What is there to say about this game It ROCKS!!! I still remember all the doubt around this game when it was first shown as a First Person Adventure game but when it came out, it blew mostly everyones expectations including mine and instead we got a game that was new and fresh yet at the same time had the atmosphere we so love in a Metroid game...And I must point out that the second last boss in that game sent chills done my spine, I never thought I would be on the edge of my seat with a smile on my face fighting that tough bastard, and when I died I didn't care, I just wanted to fight him again Very few bosses can make me feel like what that boss did 6.Resident Evil 4[GCN] This should be in everyones list One of the last few games of the Gamecube, it blew everything out of the water thanks to Shinji Mikami, Gone are the zombies and instead we have crazy villagers trying to kill us, and playing this game on the GCN for the first time just made me speechless, with just how impressive the graphics are and gameplay was truly fun. It still can be played and to be honest it is sooooooo much better then the crap known as RE5, which was just so wrong in many ways...I look forward to seeing what Shinji Mikami pulls off next in the next 10 years. 5.Mario Galaxy[Wii] This game truly wowed me, the graphics, the music, the level design, power up etc etc... I could not believe that it was really a mario game, at times I thought it was something completely new that Nintendo created, even when that fat plumber was right there. There is not much to say about this game as everyone already knows how awesome this game truly is. I very much look forward to Mario Galaxy 2 and hope it's a sequel similar to what Zelda Spirit Tracks was too Zelda Phantom Hourglass. 4.Zelda: Twilight Princess[Wii] I can not express my love for this game enough I just love everything about this game. Story, characters, the world, the gameplay, the items, the music, the graphics etc etc... I can not get enough of this and I would happily go through this game again and once again enjoy it more then I did before. I don't know how many hours I have spent on it altogether. Persona 3 [PS2] I have spent over 300 hours on this game, and it's box cover is the PS2 all the time now, I rarely put any other game into the PS2 now (Maybe perhaps Persona 4 ) The game just has really awesome atmosphere, catchy music, epic bosses, really difficult fights and a game where you have to use your heads rather then tapping X X X X X X X Heal X X X Heal, all the time and you win. And don't get me started about the fusing monsters, I spend so many hours trying to have the exact right persona that makes my character invincible 2.Baten Kaitos Origins[GCN] This game was the greatest Gamecube that came out and I think the last Gamecube game that ever came out as well, but by jeez what a fucking awesome game, the game has that certian feature that I wish more fucking companies would put in their games...maturity. Yes, I am sick of most modern story games because they are usually some shitty teen soap opera or a very bloody game and declaring itself as a mature game. This game has no blood, the characters are 16 years old, but I felt like Monolith wanted to make them older because how the characters reacted and the problems they saw was very full on, jesus I loved the characters in the game. It was everything I wanted in an RPG, great art, fantastic story, smooth fighting, awesome music, the greatest voice acting in any RPG and perhaps the greatest ending I have ever seen in my life of playing games. There was a reason why Nintendo bought Monolith and this game is the answer, the first one was average but this one is just...wow, when you play this game, you will seriously look at the first one in a completely different way. I could truly keep going on about it 1.Dragon Warrior VII (aka Dragon Quest VII) [PS1] This game is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge, it's main story alone will make you spend 100 hours on it. This game gives me everything I want in a game, fun story, a grand adventure, great characters, simple battle system, tough bosses and the greatest music ever composed by Koichi Sugiyama. The game makes Zelda: MM problems look like playschool with town issues, the game is like 20 different mini stories that come into one and then just when you think it's all over, something else happens which made me happy, since I never wanted the game to end. A lot of people looked down upon it during release for it came out around the same time as the PS2 came out and it looked like a SNES game and not a Final Fantasy game. It took them 5 years to make this game and I can see why, it's pure Gold this game and it's easy to know why it's the best selling PS1 game ever in Japan. It puts everything that made all the other Dragon Quest games awesome into it and yeah end result is...no words can describe it Well, there you go, my top 10 of the past decade, hope to see what games you loved the most last decade ^^

Sega: We Probably Won't Do More Mature Titles For The Wii
killer kirby replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I find this odd, since House Of the Dead has had increadible legs on it, people still buy the series on the Wii, just saw 2 days ago a couple who bought it. Madworld isn't as big in sales compared to House of the Dead, but it's still done alright for what it really is. and for Sega to compare a game that is not even theirs makes me more confused -

Monster Hunter 3 will be the only thing in the Wii for moooooooooooooooooooooooonths to come when it's out, looking forward to kicking some monsters ass eh H-O-T? -
Hence I don't get why not test the waters with this game. If it sold 2 mill in japan then they have nothing to lose trying to see if people want a game like this over here in english. Come ooooooon Nintendo bring it over here

*Looks at screenshots* *Looks at the people making it* *Listens to music* *Plays demo* Umm...why is everyone not hyped up for this game again? (Besides Dante of course you is a little too excited )

M*A*S*H Man is the book waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay different to the series...and in a good way, it didn't take me long to read this book, but most of the way I did laugh at some of the stories that were in it. It was a lot closer to the movie but it still had a couple of different things, I could list all the difference, but that would take too long xD 7/10

For a game like this, art= greatness. People who complain about how short it is should stop bitching!!!! It's games like these that need full on support by gamers of the Wii

Best Zelda game ever (poll)
killer kirby replied to mcj metroid's topic in General Gaming Discussion
That doesn't mean anything, mostly everything that gets put online usually are viewed on opinions. Reviews Previews Top 10 Retrospectives etc etc... Most of all these are still based on opinions, like the review IGN had of GTAIV declaring it as 'Oscar worthy' which it clearly wasn't I accidentally made it saying this forum, I was meaning through the whole internet, forums, blogs etc etc.... sorry:woops: But ah well, why does it matter, I am used to it now, but it seems like more people on other forums are giving it another go and enjoying it a lot more then the first play, which is pleasing to see. -
Best Zelda game ever (poll)
killer kirby replied to mcj metroid's topic in General Gaming Discussion
It's a defense for the other article which says that MM is the greatest Zelda game out there, which of course some people tend to disagree, hence the defense, I still think the full on Zelda fans are some of the funniest ones out there on forums. It's true that it's more of a thing to keep people who liked the other Zelda games more happy, N-europe members seem to love MM to death and will defend the game to death if anyone talks anything bad about it. Every Zelda game to me is truly an awesome game to me, and obviously I have waaaaaaay different taste on what a good Zelda game to the people on this forums and what isn't. I think Zelda:TP is the best 3D Zelda out there still, and I won't back down from that statement of mine, I love everything that they made in the game, yet a lot of people on this forum seem to hate the game with passion. -
Best Zelda game ever (poll)
killer kirby replied to mcj metroid's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Just like your post, my post and everyone else's here, many people love MM (Like me) but there were many flaws in the game, it's not picture perfect like everyone says it to be...just like eeeeeevery game out there. -
As much as I didn't mind the game more now, it made me hate the game even more, the game was flawed so badly it was hard not too laugh at times, hell if you knew what you were doing, it was basically a cake walk to the last boss which is also a walk in the park. The junction was an interesting idea but there were so many flaws in it that system. I don't want to even talk about the story and the characters, I hate them more now. Squall is a loser from start to finish. Zell is a loser who no one ever picks anyway. Quitist is the slut teacher Rinoa is the slut princess Selphie has no brain Irvine was awesome to begin with, only to suck and get caught in the animu syndrome. The story alone was laughable and made a lot of shitty fanfiction look decent. Sadly yes, it's now become a series focused on shitty teen soap opera love story that kids could write within a week and no gameplay whatsoever H-O-T will love it and act like how Dante is acting over Bayonetta, and I am sure a lot of other people will love it. I already know that I will hate the game, it's all over the screen when I watch a single trailer. I for once wish the next FF game (Besides the online one) can lay off the shitty 'trying to be a serious story' syndrome and just make something that is....FUN! (I heard FFXIII is linear as fuck for the first half of the game that you don't have any sidequests at all for that time) FFVII wasn't bad at all, some of the characters were quite interesting to be honest Red XIII, Cid and Mr T...I mean Barret, but the game was a very typical RPG which I ain't complaining really.
-
I give props now too Final Fantasy VIII funny enough, I played it again some time ago, thought I would give it another chance, and I must say I really enjoyed the battle system and how much the game is easy then the rest of the series once you know how to use it. Plus it felt more free...I mean look how long it took to make you get to the overworld map. Final Fantasy X on the other hand grabs all the shittiness from FFVIII brings it back in and throws everything that was good about FFVIII out. A shitty fucking linear game that had a shitty story that had so many flaws in it with story telling, and the love story that Kitase makes for the games make Twilight love story seem more tolerable. Yeah nuke Kitases team, they brought the series I once loved down to the shitty gutter and also ruined the way FFXII was being made and made one the 2 only good creators out of Square-Enix Yasumi Matsuno (Other being Yuji Horii) leave.
-
Of course it is, it's made by the team that made FFVIII, FFX, FFX-2 and now this, all their games have been the shittiest of the FF series.

Not only just on the Wii but also the HD ones, amazing how there is still a bit of loading in Vesperia.
