Life Already 5 months ago, my life has been far greater then it has ever been, I am so motivated in life and always wanting to do something that every day is never a boring day But next year I hope I become even more fit then I am now, so far within the 4 months I have lost 15kg and I am really working hard on my torso at this moment so yeah, next year I hope I do get better I am also going to plan to do a university course not next year but the year after, but I'll be really looking into it though next year. Events Nothing comes to mind, but I have not thought much into the events that are going on Friends/Relationships I have many great friends already but I do hope that I continue meeting new and interesting people in this small town of mine that I live in(It's crazy the people who I have met ) Places I hope to go over to some parts of Asia next year, now that I have 2 jobs, I am getting quite a good income so now I am spending money using one jobs pay and saving up with the other ...now it's all about keeping those 2 jobs Entertainment Dragon Quest IX Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Monster Hunter 3 The rest of anything else is far back in my want list when compared to these 3 Bring on next year!!! xD

Good to see you making progress on this game, you are on the right track, and all the things that is a side quest (Which is very little anyway) can be done in the end of the game so don't fret on the whole going through the main story and missing out on something. It's mostly all there. I am considering going back into Dragon Quest VIII, don't know yet...

And everyone was expecting a 41/40 from famitsu since the they have been giving them out like every month lately. So acording to famitsu...Final Fantasy XII is still better then XIII

Too many games I want come out that month And having 2 games out of them that I know will make me clock over 100 hours of playing.

I am a retro lover especially with RPG's, I always love simple battle systems and random battles. Hence why I still have Retro Game Challenge as one of my 5 greatest DS games I have ever played

Your right about that, most likely when the next Nintendo system is out they will make some expansion to some of the games, I still didn't mind Wii Fit Plus, had a fair few little updates. Hmm...yeah, but it's obvious that they were going to go for this style of Mario game, since NSMB on the DS has a massive diarrea problem and can't stop shitting out money. I enjoyed the game though vastly and I'll most likely continue playing the game. See this is now the one thing I don't get, and I blame Nintendo for mostly doing this. But it's like Nintendo last gen made this vast greatness that has left a mark on people that now think that every game has to be the greatest thing ever known to man. People now expect Nintendo to make something so incredible that well...might be impossible to do Zelda TP is a fantastic example of this, Nintendo hyped this game so much that everyone thought it would be the game that would never ever get a 9.9 but always a 10. Zelda TP is a fantastic game and is easily as good as the other Zelda games, but because of the hype, it made people...hate it, even though it should not get the hate as it's really on par with the rest of them. Everyone now has this expectation on a game that's different to everyone else now that...sometimes I see why Nintendo try to keep everything to their chest and release the game 3 months after it's announced, so fans can't make up their minds on what they want. Mario Galaxy 2 will be interesting indeed when that comes out and too see how everyone reacts to it, same with Metroid: Other M

But you see, thats what I don't get, all of Nintendo games, even casual games have had this so called magic. I thought the magic was because Nintendo develop a game knowing they are making a game...and not a movie like the rest of the developers

I did a little edit, but I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove Final Fantasy IV so much so that it's the only one of the series I have completed on the SNES/GBA and NDS (Although I prefer the old sprites version, not complaining about FFIV remake, it's still fucking awesome xD ) Unlike the modern FF, this game truly had a lot of love put into it, it aged so well, in graphics, story, music and atmosphere, which I can't say with most modern FF games (It's really hard to play FFX now that's a game thats aged badly) It was...dun dun dun dun...a mature game!!! kids to adults could play the game and love it, now with the modern ones...it's another story.

Most companies are to blame(Including Nintendo), Nintendo did nothing expecting the 3rd parties to start making awesome games like they did for the PS2 and PS1, didn't happen...they gave them a huge gap to fill in with games (You know how most 3rd parties always complained about how they have to keep competing with Nintendo) and this time they did nothing. I think Nintendo have now said 'fuck it' and now are just making the games that everyone knows and loves now. I am sure some 3rd party games will go onto Wii, seems like Iwata really wants to try push some of them as popular games other then japan thinking of it (Namely Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter) But thats what I think anyway, bring on 2010

FFIV DS op Audio *Sigh* This makes me soooo sad, how such great classic games like these...the modern ones suck balls so much compared to them. The days when Final Fantasy used to be good...MAKES ME HATE KITASE AND NOMURA EVEN MORE!!!! Best to ask now, but what is the 'Nintendo magic' everyone keeps talking about? People just say it like a normal thing as a matter of fact it's one of the most common things I hear nowadays when trying to hang crap on newer games, yet I have never been told what it really is in detail.

Now that this thread has been bumped, I really do wonder what Intelligent Systems have been making lately... I really hope E3 Nintendo can finally show everyone what Intelligent Systems, Retro Studio's, Sora etc etc... have been up too

Majority as in the majority of the 5% of people who own the game and go onto forums like this one and talking about games? *Sigh* The hate for TP is so sad in my eyes, how so many people can spit on a game that is so well made, what are people expecting? More side quests? The moment Nintendo do that and ignore the main story they will get beaten down by fans saying there is no main quest. Do main quest as focus like TP did...WHERE ARE MY SIDE QUESTS!!!! Yeah, I need to stay out of Zelda forums and threads, it's like reading a book of Twilight, every time I read, my IQ drops.

The Possessed My first read of a Fyodor Dostoyevsky book and I must say I am very impressed by the way he writes the story. It was boring for a bit in the book, but every chapter it was like it continued to get better and better and then it sky rockets in a great way, only to suddenly end in a ??? type of way, I really thought there might have been a tiny bit more into the story, but that doesn't matter, it's a great little gem and I glad I had a go at it, every character in that book was so vast and different, yet they all lived so close together. A great classic Russian book and I look forward to reading more of his books. 7/10 The Shack This time I decided to read a modern Christian book for the first time in my life, after some of my friends highly suggested this book. And for the first 50 pages it was...meh...but then it turned into such an awesome great story, I could not put the book down, only took me a week to read it, which even shocked some of my friends who suggested it to me 8/10 I am surprised just how many books I bought during the time I was reading those 2 books, I'll be posting in this thread a lot more soon

Besides Japanese love for Monster Hunter and Dragon Quest, I agree with this post. Mario Galaxy has still done well and it shows that there are hardcore gamers out there on the Wii that really want to continue playing awesome games. NSMBWii is a game that attracts hardcore, casual and retro nostalgia fans. So really it's no surprise, I am happy with the sales, means there might be some more 2D platforming games coming back.

This year is too easy for me... Rune Factory Frontier Farming + Dungeon Crawling = Awesome. Dragon Quest VII is still my most loved game from 2000-2010, it will be interesting to see if it changes next year though

They could bring it out during the Nov/Dec time, and try to make it like the next MUST BUY Christmas game I can wait to be honest, as long as they might consider bringing out DQVI before hand.
