    All Dragon Quest since the first one are like that. You want one that has a vast amount, play Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime on the DS, many different types there And mostly all dragon quest games have that one minor one that sticks too JUST that game (Although, I think every monster that exists in the Dragon Quest series are all in Dragon Quest IX on the DS, not too sure just yet) The relationship between them two is exactly the same as the relationship that is in Dragon Quest Original with the hero and princess. and since you have only played VIII and I think only but Ike has played the original other then myself, only he would understand what I mean I might give this game another go once I am through with Dragon Quest III, don't know just yet. It's not, it's a monster that's out in the world near Argonia Castle, so yeah, more for the monster team.

    Pokemon spin-offs have been good, I mean...without them, there would never have been the greatest mini game ever created.....SUSHI-GO-ROUND!!!! Too bad the chances of it ever coming back is slim to none

    Just be grateful they are back it's been like since SMW when they last showed, people always complain about the smallest things Here is the story, Iggy went to the hairdressers and wanted something new done too his hair so they dyed it for him

    15. Dragon Quest VI another one I see is from Dragon Quest IV as well. I don't really care how unoriginal this game is, too me if this is unoriginal, then so are most games, since most games copy off one another or are inspired by movies, books etc etc...it's just this one is clear that it's getting it's inspiration so people declare it as unoriginal without thinking about all those other games they love.

    Dragon Quest VI is what would happen if you decide to put all the elements from all the other Dragon Quest games all into it. Although only negative too it is that it's not as 'story driven' as what Dragon Quest V was. But still just like the other Dragon Quest games, perfect Thats what makes Horii games so fucking awesome, they always fit into place in the end, everything comes together like a jigsaw puzzle and when those little surprises in the story happen, you just have to smile at how truly clever it is.

    It's not the typical Final Fantasy style, in how you can change whenever you want, you can only change when you get to a temple known as Dharma Temple, which is in Dragon Quest III, Dragon Quest VI, Dragon Quest VII and Dragon Quest IX. It makes it more fun in terms of placing the skills on the characters when you are about to go into a cave/dungeon, because you have to make sure you think you have the right classes on your character Leveling up system for classes are focused on how many battles you have done rather then exp, so if you want to lvl up fighter, you must fight 9 battles in the fighter class (Oh and battling weak monsters to gain exp for your job won't work, can only fight monsters that are on your lvl if you want it to grow ) Also the plus side of doing classes, is the fact that whatever you learn, you can change classes and still be able to use the skills you learnt from the other classes. Also another aspect of the job system in the Dragon Quest series is how you master classes and the more you master, the more classes become available so if you master Soldier and Fighter you can access a new class known as Battlemaster (There are many more to unlock so I am not really spoiling it at all) It's just awesome You will be spending many hours making your characters stronger with the job system ^_^ Just talking about it again makes me want to go back and play again xD

    Shit, forgot to post my thoughts on the game... Ehem...all the other PSP games can fuck off, this is one game that will most likely stay in my PSP until they bring it out in english (Yeah I am serious) and then continue staying in there. This game is GOTY for the PSP this year even though it's all in japanese, if not for the fast action awesome gameplay, it's for the music. The opening theme song is Audio and boss music just for the heck of it. Audio I'll keep you posted a bit more later on, I haven't had much time to play it, it's a game that I want to play from start to finish. (Oh and a bit of history, Dragon Quest was the first game to make RPG's what it is today, but after Dragon Quest came out and before Final Fantasy came out, Ys came out, so the series is older then Final Fantasy )

    I highly suggest that you play Baten Kaitos Origins, I hated the first one, but Origins I would declare as the greatest RPG made last generation.

    From the looks of it yes. Well done Capcom, since Shinji Mikami has left, you have proven to me just how shitty you can make a once fantastic series, into something I will never bother picking up again. RE1 remake with RE5 style of co-op, thanks capcom, you truly understand what the meaning 'survival horror' means
