Dragon Quest IV, V, VI: The Zenithia Trilogy
killer kirby replied to immy's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Yeah it was a job class system in the game so you could you could befriend monsters and have them join you. Like I said before, Dragon Quest VI and VII tried to really out-perform the other series by having EVERYTHING in the game. Dragon Quest was the series that created Pokemon, V was the first game to ever have monster taming put in. Not many human characters were in the game really. I mean in the end you had the main, wife and the two kids which made a perfect 4. They need to have party talk in it, since it's a game with 6 characters in the game. Only game they can't have party talk in is Dragon Quest, Dragon Quest III and Dragon Quest IX, since those games can make you do a solo mission if you want. (Dragon Quest you were solo altogether, you never had a team), but since III and IX put a full focus on going to the pub and creating your own personal team. -

lol, you have much more to learn with the Dragon Quest series, young Grazza It's a scene in the game, some of the scenes will turn into like an in-game cutscene, but all the way through it is the same as if you are playing IV and V. That pic is kind of a spoiler, so won't bother in telling you where, who and how. Another update about the game, so far people have said it's been toned down with the difficulty level, which is alright I guess, I thought it was the 2nd hardest game out of the series with II on top. Also the beastmaster class doesn't allow you to befriend monsters, yep, the V system is out. Yuji Horii stated the reason as to why was that he wanted the players to focus on the other characters now that party talk is in it (VI has never had party talk until the DS version) -
I usually go all out with exercise, one of them being a full on run and even having something to eat an hour before it won't take long before you get a stitch. But having something half an hour after exercising is interesting, will do from now, thanks for tip

I don't really bother eating much when working out, usually I have lunch about 3-4 hours prior to working out. My stomach is teasing me, it's like it's telling me about my six-pack by saying "So close, yet so far." I also wonder, with a six pack, would it be easier for someone who is skinny and has never been fat to have one(Like they continue on eating and they never go fat) compared to someone who can easily be fat if he it's a lot?

Rumor: Devs already working on 'new Nintendo platform'
killer kirby replied to marcel's topic in Nintendo Gaming
No, Other companies have talent, they can make a decent story and a fleshed out world, they can't, instead they would rather waste years and money on cutscenes rather then gameplay. Oh and about Nintendo's new system....It's going to be anything, it's going to be a handheld, after Pokemon, Zelda, New Mario Bros, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart and Dragon Quest IX making everyone have a DS, I think it won't be long until we say farewell to one of the greatest systems ever to have been created. -
For a minute, I was going to roll my eye on another comment by one of those guys from Nibris only to finally have some news that is real. Not bad for something that never existed having 19 pages. Pretty sad to look back at the first few pages >_>

It worked for Spirit Track and from the reception, it's all been positive. I bet if Nintendo showed it off and then brought it out 2 years later, during that time showing lots of footage of the game, it would have not got the reception it has. Seems like Nintendo learnt from Twilight Princess

And that is why Suda is easily one of the greatest game designers out there, He makes playing games enjoyable again. modern games today, dull and grey so story focused that the game becomes a movie instead and then *poof* Suda appears and give me Killer 7 and No More Heroes  I am really wanting this game, but I have nooooo money at the moment >_<

I don't give 2 flying hoots about graphics, if they wanted to, they can go backwards and make it look like a NES game for all I care, I just want a game that's fun and addictive, thats all I care about, and so far Pokemon has always been doing that.
-
I would, this game is clearly a port of the PC version which is a port of the PS2 Monster Hunter game so long ago.

They used to be good, until some of the people on that site who had good taste left, I don't think any of them are back. But yeah, it's been all downhill from there with that site. I still remember how they gave a harsh review for both Dragon Quest remakes with the only reason is that you have to save at a church. I look forward to seeing the high score they are going to give to FFXIII

I swear if Zelda came out this year on the Wii it would be the greatest year for gaming. Dragon Quest IX Dragon Quest VI Monster Hunter 3 Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Metroid: Other M Mario Galaxy Sin & Punishment 2 No More Heroes 2 Pokemon: Heart Gold and Soul Silver And thats from just what I remember and only on the Nintendo system.

I look like everyone funny enough, even when they look all completely different when compared to one another, even my friends have jokes on which shows I look like. First day at work everyone working there wanted to know if they knew me before because they thought they had seen me before, and I have never met these people in my life >_>

I think I would just want New Area + Old Visitors (Old Gym leaders and such) in it really, as much as I loved the idea of all of the old land all in one a couple of years ago, I rather just enjoy the new area that the Pokemon Team created and make them focus just on that new area.
-
No, then it will just be like 'EVERY JRPG OUT THERE' Thats what I like about Pokemon, it's a game thats all about you being the best and collecting pokemon. If anything that would be cool would be sub-missions, througout the game there are Pokemon problems where you can help out in solving the issue. Examples: 1.Take a character from one part of the land to the other side without flying. 2.Help someone who can't tame a pokemon. 3. Characters needing a certain item 4.Characters wanting to find a pokemon The list could go on, and if Nintendo wanted to go one step further, have downloadable content for more side-quests. Stuff like that in most games that have them make me continue playing the game for a very long time.

Don't you know? It's on the Wii, so they have to score it lower.
-
Yeah thats how I am seeing it, it's going to come out and work on all DS systems but at the same time Nintendo will make the DSi the more superior version with extras added in it, some way or another.
-
Your half right on that, home consoles you are right, but the handheld area is far from abysmal. Heck thanks to handheld RPG's my faith in JRPG has been restored.
