Dragon Quest IV, V, VI: The Zenithia Trilogy
killer kirby replied to immy's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I usually always say 'you can't compare perfection' when comparing another Dragon Quest game to another . BUT, to some people (including hardcore Dragon Quest fans) Dragon Quest V is their favorite game, mostly to do with the fact it's more story driven then any of the other Dragon Quest games. Usually the hardcore Dragon Quest fans love III, IV or V and pick one of those as their favorite. -

News just in, you create the main protagonist, you don't play the character you see on that box. And like I stated before, the game still has that humor all those other Dragon Quest games have had since day 1, even the ones with good knowledge of Japanese who have the japanese copy, have played it 200 hours have said it still has that humor. -

Thanks for showing me off a game that was rated over in the UK while the UK has yet to rate Dragon Quest IX. Be better yet to look at this... Dragon Quest IV UK rating Dragon Quest IV Japanese rating (Rating it A means for all ages) Dragon Quest IX Japanese rating Just to top it all off, Dragon Quest VIII japanese rating So if anything Dragon Quest IX will be rated a 12+ over here, but all those games were still aimed for everyone to play. But of course, like some other hardcore Dragon Quest fans mention, Yuji Horii, Akira Toriyama and Koichi Sugiyama ARE Dragon Quest. Hence why in one of their interviews they said they will continue working on Dragon Quest until they die, but when one of them does, thats it, they won't be working on Dragon Quest anymore. -
I LOVE POKEMON!!!

Dragon Quest IV, V, VI: The Zenithia Trilogy

huh? umm ok, there has never been an age mention in the game, just because they look young, don't mean they are children, I mean playing through DQI-III and look at the characters... Dragon Quest Dragon Quest II Dragon Quest III Dragon Quest VII All of these games contained very charming humor that kids or adults could understand. And also the fact that Dragon Quest has always been aimed for ALL ages. Just like Dragon Quest VIII which kids under 12 still played and enjoyed. none of the Dragon Quest games have been aimed for that age, Dragon Quest fans get huge nostalgia from Dragon Quest IX, it's basically the sequel to Dragon Quest III which is what everyone in Japan wanted. It still has the funny humor that you and H-O-T are on about. Every Dragon Quest game has that humor no matter how old the main character is or how he looks. You don't need to grind though if you know what you are doing. Because you played VIII first which is original in the difficulty, the remakes usually get toned down from the original, dare you to play Dragon Warrior IV on the NES where the only control you have is your main character every other character performs their own action. Or Dragon Quest V on the SNES where you could only have 3 members in your party instead of 4 and with those versions having tougher monsters as well. -
Composer for the game is none other then Yoko Shimomura. Games she has composed for are games like Kingdom Hearts, Mario & Luigi series, little king story and Final Fantasy Versus XIII Samples of some of her work Final Fantasy Versus XIII Audio Kingdom Hearts Audio Mario & Luigi Audio

Well my eating patterns have changed again, I always have oatmeal every morning now with tuna and eggs on another plate very filling breakfast ^^ But I have also been going to sleep at better hours so most of the time if I am not working I go to sleep around 10:00-10:30pm and wake up between 6:00-6:30am. To my surprise it's really helping. Also restricted my daily routine in exercise, how I am not trying to do every exercise every day and for long periods of time, but giving space for like 2 days apart and such, as well as every 2 weeks I change what I do for exercise. (One example is I used to go for very long runs, but at the moment I go for a walk for a minute and then sprint for 15 seconds, then back to walking, I do this ten times as I was told ) Also starting to put some more weights into squats, man I was sore the next day after doing it xD

Hmm...thinking about it, it might be Samus's final voice, perhaps one of the things they want Samus to be is a character who can't show much emotion...because well...she never showed much really, from what the whole story behind Samus is, she either was in training or on a mission to kill off space pirates. It's perhaps a crazy thinking on my behalf, I might be completely wrong

Welcome to the charm of Dragon Quest Obviously the game is light in story, but what can you expect from a remake of a NES game I don't know if you know this but while playing setting the battle message speed to 1 can make battles really super fast, which is one reason why I don't get people who say the game is slow, when it's really one of the fastest games out there (Besides DQVIII which IS slow because of loading animation of the attacks) -
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
killer kirby replied to ndreamer's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Well the page before us H-O-T posted how Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies had been trademarked in Eruope , but it still has the IX on it, so I don't know, who knows whats going at the moment, I am guessing we will know more in the future if Nintendo want to leave the number there everywhere or just for the US alone -

Jeez, it's just a logo, and this is coming from a Dragon Quest addict that I am, I said before it's supposed to appeal to the bigger audience, not to us, they know all too well that all of us Dragon Quest fans will get it. Just be glad they just didn't go back to calling it Dragon Warrior IX Want the logo to look like this again? -
I have a 360 sadly, but I know I can play Europe games on my Australian 360, I don't know if the limited editions would pop up on ebay for the 360 version, but thanks anyway.

Include me into that, Donkey Kong Country was a serious part of my life as a boy, all I cared about was finishing school so I could go back to playing Donkey Kong Country.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
killer kirby replied to ndreamer's topic in Nintendo Gaming
So do all other Dragon Quest fans, but thats not who Nintendo are trying to appeal to here, they already know all of us are getting it They are mainly trying to make the game become a bigger appeal to the audience and give Dragon Quest a better name like they are trying to do with Monster Hunter. So I am fine with it, looks nice and clean the new logo, when looking at it in a non-dragon quest fanboy way. -
It's retro, but in LIVE ACTION!!!
-
Thank God it's not going to be released soon (Yeah you heard me, with the amount of games I have to get through, by the time it comes out now I might finally have time to play it)
-
This pisses me off to the greatest extent ever. Australia only get a fucking controller face plate as their special edition, is there anyway to be able to import that from over in europe?
