Well what you stated is exactly what FFXIII will be all about, a linear game with no freedom, so if you like a type of game that has a real animu story in it, then you will love it I guess. And FFTA is a great game which I spent way too many hours on, though the original FFT game, now THAT is one damn awesome game xD

I don't break the law, they don't annoy me, simple as that Police get a lot of shit over here in Australia. They protect us (Well....most of the time) against annoying people, but the moment they are able to put down a crazy/idiot of a person to the ground, we are told they are the bad people and should have thought it out more.

I still think we will get Dragon Quest VI first and then Dragon Quest IX during Christmas, Nintendo and Square-Enix will promote it like it's the NEXT BIG THING you need to own as kid for Christmas. All they have to do is show off epic things like this during the morning when children are watching television Children are really the main audience here, so if they see something like this that they can play on their DS then they will (hopefully) be screaming out for it for Christmas. Just a hunch, but Dragon Quest IX will be what Zelda: ST was for last year. Moar Dragon Quest IV loving from me xD I still have a bad taste from Square-Enix for cutting out party talk for this game when it came into english >_>

Thats the interesting thing about Monster Hunter now, I know more is going to be released on the PSP, but once Nintendo bring out a new handheld system will it be easy for Capcom to just port over Monster Hunter to Nintendo's new system? Will be interesting.

PSP is odd, it's selling like shit everywhere, yet still selling well in Japan, and at the moment the PSP is doing very well over in Japan which I expect more sales from it with the huge mass release of games thats coming out over there. EDIT: But not the PSPnoGO, shitty system is selling like shit over in japan that even the 360 is outselling it.

The question is...will there be another million seller on the Wii in Japan by a 3rd party? (I know about Dragon Quest X, but even then, nothing is really known about it yet)

Out of all the Dragon Quest games, I think the character designs that he made look nothing like he usually does is Dragon Quest VII It's still got that Akira Toriyama's artistic feel to it, then I guess he went back to his usuall style with Dragon Quest VIII...

As much as I also hate number 1 being well...number 1, I have many friends who are still obsessed with that game, even people I know who never played games before play it. Mostly glad with that whole list.

Persona 3 and 4 are the best RPG's out of the lot you have there, seriously. If you don't mind slow games then yeah...you will enjoy Dragon Quest VIII

Latest Japanese sales Monster Hunter 3 - 2,600 / 1,000,200 / 98% Well done to Capcom and Monster Hunter, they have now become the first 3rd party company/game to have sold 1 million copies on a Nintendo home console in Japan since Dragon Quest VI (Or was it IIIr?) on the super Nintendo. And another note, it's the first Monster Hunter game on a home console to reach a million. So now the game has become nothing more then a casual game, congrats

I remember some games that were Gameboy games, but also GBA games (Looks at Zelda Oracles series) The Pokemon series could easily release a brand new Pokemon game on the DS, but allow the new handheld to unlock extra's, so it won't stop people from people buying the DS version, yet get hardcore players into buying the new system to get those few little extra's.

It can be good, only if people don't go uber hype shit crazy and obssessing about the game non-stop and dreaming it to be the greatest thing to being made before it comes out, but that would be impossible for most gamers.

The early bit I do agree with, and if anything, I still think Nintendo won't do much in terms of hardware until they see how well the vitality sensor does (Too be honest, after thinking about the idea of the vitality sensor, if Nintendo show me what I am thinking that could make it really work I'll be really really happy)

There are some good examples as to why bringing out a new system even though the current one is still selling like hot cakes. Sony do it. PS1 was really still kicking when PS2 just came out, and even after that the PS1 continued to sell while the PS2 rode on the waves of the success. Same with the PS3, after PS3 came out, some great games still came out and made, even now it's still out on the market. Gameboy was doing bloody well with pokemon and Gameboy Advance came out, there were still some awesome games that came out on the GB during the time of GBA era and likewise for DS to GBA. In the end what I am saying is that the Wii have given Nintendo an open gate, a gate which if they release another system, people can make really awesome games on it, but will take them time, while on the Wii, the last of the great games on the series will be coming out. So by the time the Wii has died down, the new Nintendo system will be (Hopefully) shining with great well dedicated games.

Man, Heavy Rain got that score, kind of surprised, never looked at this magazines reviews, I am guessing they are tough with reviews and just don't give every game thats got hype over 95%? If there is one review I am going to bloody enjoy it's going to be Zero Punctuation if he decided to review this, 2nd most wanted review from him is this game, Dante's Inferno is number 1 though (Can't wait for him to rip the biggest asshole out of that game )

1000000000000000% agree on this, Metroid Prime offered the good so much, It really felt new and refreshing yet still had that metroid atmosphere, unlike Zelda: Wind Waker which was Zelda + Different graphics, other then that it was the same game as the rest of the series. Since then, I still love playing Metroid Prime, just all the information they put into that game was great, even the data logs, made the world feel alive! (I still love Wind Waker, but to be honest, Metroid Prime wowed me way much more)
