Yeah look at Turok that got something ridicolous like 90% it wasn't till goldeneye later came out they realised what a N64 FPS could do. I just wanna know how the controls have been sorted that was my only reasoning for considering not getting it, and getting Call of Duty instead.

I know its easy to say in hindsight but there is a case for not taking preorders till you know how much stock has been allocated, but in quite a few cases I know it can't work like that. At HMV we get allocated ours on how many preorders, but i guess this is from store to store, so instead of sending say 20 to every store theymay send 30 to one lots of preorders and 10 another. Maybe it only applies to some GAME stores, where they thought they'd get loads more than they did.

So red steel could actually be good? does anyone know what they said about some of the alleged control issues?

hmmm sounds good, i love call of duty, the other games are awesome. I really wanna get Red Steel off this and play summit new and red steel has obviously been built from the ground up for the Wii. I just hoping they manage to sort out these control issues (although guessing the USA version is maybe in production, or close by now?!) with heard about otherwise its Call of Duty for me.

I got ready to watch one of the movies but i stopped myself halfway, i remember the joy of playing OOT without knowing anything about it. I didn't do it for WW, such was the controversy over its graphics I kept reading more. My advice don't watch the movies.

UBER MEGATON WOOOOt! right my megaton piss taking aside. Here's the two things I think it could be: 1. I hope this one is the true answer. I noticed that with a few exceptions there is a lack of multiplayer games on the Wii, maybe just maybe we are gonna see some Xbox Live Arcade style multiplayer games, please please please let this be the case, online SNES mario kart, online N64 mario kart online Bomberman, erm anything else?! 2. Nintendo DS link up, not sure what to do though, but could be something super innovative if they are holding back on divulging details of it. actually a third has sprung to mind: been mentioned by others, link up with apple either offering itunes on your wii, or something like that?

Nah only one socket, it works on my DVD player, just not my consoles, odd, looks like tis just composite for me, or there is an S Video socket, my tv is odd, lovely flat screen, but seems to have problems with consoles sumtimes, quite abit on my xbox i have noticed the graphics are blurrer than they used to be on my old portable.

Well, I'm get: Zelda:Twilight Princess, Red Steel and either Wii Play or Monkey Ball, If I can afford second wii mote and monkey ball I will, overwise Wii Play to save some pennys, gonna get another game for xmas hopefully aswell. As for VC gonna get: Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Country, Golden Axe, Gunstar Heroes, Toe Jam & Earl. Maybe not all those VC's at launch, but will get them either on launch or when I get paid again the week after, also really want bomberman '93 on turbograx if we are getting it?! Bit disappointed we are not getting more N64 games.

Makes me feel funny to, remember the first time you jumped over the gate of the farm in OOT and galloped out onto Hyrule field, a truly magnficient gaming moment. Here's hoping TP can come with some equally great moments...

Its good that everyone is all hyped up(for the most part). I remember the gamecube launch on cube-europe was awesome, everyone chatting away. hope this is gonna be the same.

Do component cables work on any TV? the scart socket doesnt work with my Wii or Xbox, is just all flicky, so use the composite cables, do the component ones just go in here?

yeah you go ahead thinking that mate. I think he was referring to sentences like this: i mean what does "sub die sitting..."mean?! theres so many sentences in there that just don't make sense (spelling mistakes aside!) It hasn't got anything to with you being clever (although that's debatable)

It all depends on what the supplier cost is for the Wii games. 360 games are sold to shops for roughly £30-£32, so it depends how much of a hit companies want to take on profit to increase their market share which could potentially lead to more money if you sell enough games at the lower prices. I reckon thats why retailers were abit weary of having lower 360 prices at first, cos they were worried about not making enough margin on each copy, but now they are selling and even more so because of the PS3 being delayed, with plenty of people coming 360's now, means they can afford it. u've got to speculate to accumulate, i say so give us cheap prices!

yeah especially considering you can get it on platinum for PS2

I wasn't thinking a cable I was thinking some kind of hardware add, similar to the N64 expanision pack, in the USB ports? i know that would obviously affect the consoles look, but was just wondering.

HMV, theres only actually one at 37.95-pro evo 6, but most are around 39.95 till atleast xmas i think

I think a full blown sequel should be made, not just limit it to a mansion though, get Luigi heading his own Ghostbuster-esque firm and fighting off ghosts all over the mushroom kingdom!

£25 I got for mine at Gamestation, thats not be scoffed at, thats nearly another game, or a whole wiimote
