  1. Brilliant! Thanks. Will get my order placed 😀
  2. Was just wondering if there was any difference between the Animal Crossing Amiibo cards available in Europe and those n Australia? Reason for asking is that I'm trying to complete my daughter's series one set. With series 2 I bought a box of 42 Amiibo card packs from Play Asia for £98, and was able to complete the entire set. As we've already got quite a few cards from series 1, I thought I'd look on eBay, but I'm already up to £104 with still quite a few cards missing. Play Asia has a box of 42 packs of series 1 for £98, but these are marked as being Australian. Obviously, it will be cheaper for me to buy one of these boxes than buy individually on eBay, but will they be the same as the European cards, and will they also be compatible with a UK copy of Happy Home designer? Thanks for any help 😀
  3. Purchased 3DS theme but not showing

OK, I've found out what's happened. The theme is available, but Nintendo has got the name wrong! It's showing as ACNL: Bunny Day, although the icon is actually a Yoshi Egg. My guess is that they copied this theme and updated the graphics but forgot to change its display name!
  4. Purchased 3DS theme but not showing

I've looked and it doesn't show up in the list of themes to delete. I've actually deleted some other themes in case I've got too many. When I go to the theme shop it says it's purchased and there's no option to download or re-download it! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. I've just purchased the Yoshi's Springtime Siesta theme for my New 3DS. It said it downloaded successfully, but it's not showing in the list of available themes. I can't see how I can try deleting it and re-downloading it, or how to fix it. Has anyone else had this before and know how to fix it? I would add that, before I could buy it, I had to install an update, so my 3DS is fully up to date. Thanks
  6. 3DS Console Discussion

Got mine yesterday as well. Won't go into all the details as obviously they're the same as others! A quick overview of my opinions having now played with it. First my negative comments: Agree that the power button is a bit of a pain to use. The new stylus isn't as nice or comfortable to use as the original 3DS I've found that when holding the unit with the stylus out, my finger rubs against the stylus opening on the unit which is a bit uncomfortable, so I have to consciously move my finger to a more comfortable position, Don't like the auto brightness. Never used it with my original 3DS so it probably isn't unique to the new one. And now my likes: Turned Auto Brightness off and the display is brilliant. The slightly bigger screen is good. I never really liked my daughter's 3DSXL as, for me, the screens are too big, but this new size suits me well. The whole console feels a bit more solid than my original 3DS. There's no 'wobble' on the top screen. Whether this will change in time, obviously I don't know. The rounded edges also make it nicer to hold and I imagine that it will be more comfortable especially when playing for a long time. The new arrangement of Home, Start and Select buttons is far better then then original - I hated the original's 'flat' buttons. System transfer, while painfully slow, worked well and as far as I can see, everything has transferred over. I like the idea of the face plates. They are a far better way of customising the console than stickers are. Boot up time is a lot faster. Am now toying with getting Super Smash Bros for the console (already have the WiiU version) just so I can try out the new buttons! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Has anyone had any luck getting ingredients like vinegar from your neighbours? So far every time I've helped them out all they've given me is a piece of fruit that I could have picked myself! Starting to get really annoying!
  8. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Are you sure? I thought that all download games were 'locked' to the console?
  9. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Had a reply from Nintendo (wow, nice and quick!). Apparently the System Transfer function not only copies over all your settings, but also all your save data from downloaded games etc. Games will have to be re-downloaded from the e-shop but other than that, it should work. You'll all know if it doesn't work, as my daughter will probably scream so loudly, the whole country will hear her
  10. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Thanks. I've looked at the save data function and guess what? ACNL is not supported! This is c**p as this is one game you definitely don't want to have to start all over from the start! I've emailed Nintendo to see what they say about transferring over to a new system.
  11. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

My daughter has the download version of ACNL. If she was to upgrade to a 3DSXL, will the game still work if we just put the sd card into the console, or will it have to be re-downloaded? And if it has to be re-downloaded, is there any way of transferring all her save data? Her HHA rating is over 1,000,000 now, so she wouldn't be at all impressed if she had to start all over again. Thanks.
  12. Deleting Netflix and LoveFilm

Thanks. Found it and have deleted both of these.
  13. Wii Remote Plus

Whilst I've already got the original Wii remotes and remote plus attachments, I'm looking to replace these with jsut Wii Remote Plus's. I'm only looking for official Nontendo controllers. Looking around, you can get Wii Remote Plus controllers, but I've also see Wii U marketed remote plus controllers, which seem to be slightly more expensive. I am right in saying that there's no difference between these Wii U controllers (which also work the Wiis) and the original Wii remote Plus controllers? In which case, i might as well save a few pounds and get the original versions. Or is there any difference in the build quality?
  14. Basically, can this be done and, if so, how? I've looked for a data management option, but at the moment haven't been able to find it. I know from trialing these in the past that I do not want them on my console, so hopefully there must be some way of removing them, short of moving them to the bottom of the last screen!
  15. Nintendo Land

The whole family were playing this last night and, in particular, Mario Chase. I've not heard so much shouting and laughter from a game in a long time!
