  1. Ohhh. Well, now I feel like an idiot. In my defense, I actually searched for the game before posting and could only find a demo, or I would have seen the correct price. Turns out it's not available in my region. So thanks for nothing, Microsoft. Now I don't feel so bad about not using my 360 since Fez was released.
  2. Erm, don't they need their horns? I think you'd be better off putting them out of their misery. I tried the demo for this the other day and thought the tiny areas and invisible walls were quaint in a 'PlayStation 2 game' kind of way. I actually have very little interest in this game and really only downloaded it to check out the graphics while I was watching Suits, and the game looked pretty nice.
  3. Funnily enough, it took me ages to figure out that you could do a standing jump when I played the first Tomb Raider. Of course, I was thirteen years old at the time. Also, there's a tutorial.
  4. Welp, if $17 is the best they can do for El Shaddai, I'm not interested. And after I spent nearly an hour going through a forced update, remembering my password, setting up two different ways for Microsoft to get in touch with me and trying to find the online store, too. I do like how they recommend games based on games you've played in the past, though. I especially like how it still recommends games I've already played. Half the recommendations were because I played Deadly Premonition and Nier (I guess playing both of those games means I have very eclectic taste), and apparently I'd enjoy Mirror's Edge because I played Crackdown and Mass Effect because I played the Fable games. Because those are so similar.
  5. It's a great first console until they visit their friend who has a real Wii. "Mom, why doesn't my Wii play Vir-tall Can-sole games?"
  6. Meh, aren't we supposed to be boycotting this, anyway?
  7. I want to see this guy review the game. Is it actually possible to get out of the first room in this one?
  8. Maybe they'll port the Wii game.
  9. It can't really explain how she became the hero and adventurer we came to love when it's a reboot with a new timeline, though. I'm glad it seems the game is good, but sad that I'll probably lose access to my gaming computer the day after it's released.
  10. For hunting? Ain't no deer that's going to survive that.
  11. Maybe she'll be a stripper this time, tasked with capturing her stripper colleagues, who are skipping out on work.
  12. I still have nightmares about Tartarus, but the dungeons in Persona 4 are a lot better. They're actually visually distinct this time around, and you don't have to go through 10-15 nearly identical floors just to fight a generic boss with no real reward.
  13. Just drop the H's at the beginning of words and the R's at the end of words. "'Ello, gov'no'! I'm flippin' 'appy to see you, I am! Oi! That's a new ca', that is!" ~BRITISH PERSON~
  14. If you can watch The Simpsons, you can watch Community.
  15. I'm sorry, Rummy, okay? I'd get a Wii U if I had the money, if I had someone to play co-op in New Super Mario Bros. U with and if the console actually had some must-have games.
  16. You just watch a new episode, nod approvingly, then NEVER MENTION IT AGAIN. It's how real men watch television.
  17. No disadvantage, but I hear it's pretty useless. :p
  18. Sometimes I think about replaying games, but there are always so many new games I want to play first. I replayed Thief 2 and Deus Ex a couple of years ago, and that was a lot of fun, so I should definitely replay more games. Rediscovering a good game years later when you've forgotten almost everything about it is pretty great. But I obsessively keep a list of every new game I've finished, so I find it hard to sacrifice adding new games to that list in order to replay old ones. Plus I feel like, I already know that Thief 2 is a good game, you know? So it'd be more beneficial to find out whether or not Persona 2 is a good game too.
  19. I think the most hilarious thing about this discussion is that Zechs thinks that he can prove anything using VGChartz stats.
  20. Yes, but on the bright side: Tricia Helfer.
  21. Meh, changing everyone's personas to the best set-up at the start of every battle would be a huge pain. And I think their personas keep up pretty well, so being able to change their personas outside battle would be pretty useless. It's only when you end up facing a boss with a character that has the wrong weakness that it's an issue, and then you still have three other characters to make up for it. You should have played Persona 3: FES. The final boss in The Answer (the super hard and super sucky epilogue) reflected all physical attacks, and of course I'd brought a character who had nothing but physical attacks. This was back when you couldn't even control the rest of your party yourself, so he ended up killing himself over and over again until I just left him rotting on the ground.
  22. I suggest making mentioning Game of Thrones a bannable offense. Starting after this post.
  23. Yep! He's special. But he can't be that special, because everyone in your party could change personas in the PS1 games. I actually found Persona 4 harder near the beginning, if it makes you feel any better. Once you start to get some good personas and don't have to worry about running out of SP as much, it gets a lot easier.
