  1. This is awesome! I really enjoyed the look of Night in the Woods, but I don't really play indie games on my PC. The switch on the other hand, it will be a must buy!
  2. Well, I'm having a blast with the game! Playing with joy-cons or PRO controller is more or less a great experience for me, and Mario controls so incredibly well. Been going thoroughly through every world so far, getting as many moons I can get my hands on, while not getting tired of the worlds. Now I'm on my way to the Metro City, and I have heard loads of good stuff about that place. But I gotta say, Peach should show a bit of gratitude. I mean, Bowser is truly going the extra mile with all this planning and collecting. I would be quite overwhelmed to be honest.
  3. I really do envy the kids who grow up these days, whose fondest memories of Zelda and Mario will be from Breath of the Wild and Odyssey. Jesus, these kids get the best quality served on a silver Switch.
  4. Time to get off the internet. Have fun guys!
  5. Wait, there is a Galaxy 2??? On a serious note, I'm getting pumped reading these 15 minute impressions! And to hear that the music is on par with Galaxy, one of my favourite video game soundtracks ever.... *drool* We have a great offer in Norway this weekend; If you pay with a Master Card, you get 20% money back from any purchase at one of the biggest electronics retailer! So, time to get the game and a new i7 processor for my PC, and then just play all weekend!
  6. I need to get around to this game again... I've clocked in 53 hour in the game so far and just arrived at Kaer Trolde, the impressive looking bridge. It's such a beautiful game, but I just find it hard to put down the time. Overwatch is tempting, and is so easy to just sit with for a quick hour. Witcher 3 though... it takes loads more dedication xD.
  7. I'm glad that themes are unlocked by using Amiibo, seeing as I "own" all of them... :3 Now this is just my guess, but I recon the light on the Home-button will start glowing when the Nintendo Online Service drops. I always loved waking up and seeing the circle on the Wii-U pad glow. Then I knew there was some big news going on. I hope they start using it like that with the Switch.
  8. That is really interesting news. I hope most of it is true, and it's about time we get some themes going on the Switch main screen :D. Regarding the first hint: A sequel to a 3DS game is coming to Switch. Remember what was said about new character inclusion for Smash What sequel/game do you thing this is? Phoenix Wright? Aaaand just to be annoying (and seeing as there was a big news thingy just after I posted this last), did anyone see my post about the homebutton actually having a blue LED in it? I wonder when Nintendo will start to use it.
  9. I thought this was a funny moment
  10. soooo.... I just connected my right Joy-con to my PC, and this took me by surprise! Anyone knew the home button lights up?
  11. This is only BT headsets that are connected through USB/The dock, right? Not any Bluetooth headset? Because I always have a BT headset with me, and it's such a chore to bring the cable along just to get some audio.
  12. THANK GOD! Now I won't lose my Zelda playtime again.
  13. I will be a fan soon....
  14. My guess? Nintendo never thought they would get such a big library so fast :P. I hope they sort it out soon though, because it's getting hard to find games.
  15. Aaaand to any fighting game lovers, looks like BlazBlue will be coming to Switch in 2018 too! I really like how the Switch is taking a hard stand on PS4's anime-games. Honestly, who doesn't want to have these games on a portable system?
  16. Not sure who this will interest, but still some good news on the Japanese gaming industry coming over to Switch: Article on developer saying Nintendo want's more adult oriented games on Switch Games like Nights of Azure, No More Heroes and Senran Kagura and such are given a big push by Nintendo. And the way I see it, Nintendo of Europe is pretty cool about not cencoring the content this time around. And on a similar note.... Gal Gun 2 is coming to Switch :P.
  17. @Ronnie It was surprisingly easy actually. Just follow online tutorials and take your time and it should all go as well as it did for me :). But I did have some problems though. I ended up screwing a lot of the screws on the motherboard in the controllers too hard. That made the joy-con useless and I actually thought I had ruined the whole thing. But after loosening the screws it all worked nicely. And I also attached one of the ribbon cables from the joy-con slide (the one with the indicator-LEDs) too loose in the controller. That resulted in a controller that would function as usual, but wouldn't "click"/pair with the Switch as an attached controller. Had to open it up again and pop it in a second time, but after you've done it once, it's pretty straightforward. And it's very intresting to see what's on the inside and how it's all connected! All in all the transparent shells are in really good quality, and I can tell the molds are from the same factory as Nintendo's own. Every single detail is there, so it's pretty easy to see that. I think I ended up paying £45 for both the joy-cons and the switch back cover, and also the Switch/Nintendo kit with the tri-wing screwdriver and stuff. All in all good deal, and I'm really pleased with the result :D. So now I have a set with transparent controllers, and a set with the original red + blue.
  18. I ended up modding my Switch and Joy-cons. And man, am I happy :D. I love those SNES-colored buttons, and it really fits well with the transparent shells. Took a lot of time and had a few problems on the way though, but everything worked well in the end.
  19. Well, this might be the most chill game I've played all year. And one of the best commute games on the Switch so far. I recommend this to everyone!
  20. Well, you can easily tell this game is console first, PC last. The PC port is a really poor port job. Navigating through the menus was a chore, and everything was controller optimised. I couldn't even scroll through the menu with the scroll wheel. Glad you liked it, but I for one hope the game bombs hard on PC. That way they might do a proper job on the platform next time. I was actually positive to this years CoD, but they blew it with the porting.
  21. Had a few rounds on the PC-beta this weekend. It quickly got uninstalled. I have quite a few issues with the new WW2. First off the bat, this game is like an ADHD-trip. Jesus, if you don't constantly run and kill everything you see in your path, you're dead. Good luck trying to snipe, because the enemy is everywhere and always running around full steam ahead. And also good luck trying to do anything tactical at all. The maps are quite small, and if you want to try and flank the enemy side as in a logical, tactical mission, then too bad. Because the enemy soldiers just spawned behind you. Again and again and again. I mean, seriously? If I respawn, the smartest thing to do is to run backwards, because the enemy is always there. I mean, this joke is the same as how it was in CoD the last time I played the series, and that was MW3. I actually ended up reinstalling Battlefield 1, simply because I wanted to see how it's supposed to be done. And holy hell, CoD is just a dumbed down arcade version of BF1. BF1 is not perfect, but it is way ahead of this mess that is CoD:WW2. Sorry about my bad english and ranting.
  22. Weird. Here in Norway there is absolutely no shortage. There is about 10-20 Switches in every major electronics retailer. Why do you reckon the shortage is so big in the UK?
  23. Just bought this and BulbBoy on Switch. Ended up getting this game purely because of all you guys praising this game. It better deliver!
  24. The game just looks adorable and cool. It's a mash-up of an old top down golf game and an RPG. And it looks like it's packing the old school Nintendo charm.
  25. Why not both...... for Switch? A man can dream
