    Me and my housemates kinda watched this on 40D (god bless Virgin Media), and we just found it rather hysterical. The bit at the end for people 'still stuck' -- "remain calm, and stand up." Ridiculous. I think David Blaine lost a lot of his credibility when he started doing his massive stunts, and I jus thope Brown doesn't follow the same route.

    Supernatural s05e02: Good God, Y'all So some of my predictions from the previous episode came true, what with the red-mustang and all. What was oddest about this episode was that Riley Finn from Buffy season 4 had a line-less role. Poor guy. So mustang-driver (his name for now, to avoid spoilers) got his introductory episode, and I'm sure we'll see more of him and his three brothers (though we've already met one, though more of a 'sister'...) as the season progresses. But as a contained episode I think they were very quick and very blunt about the actual 'topic matter' they were covering, and really most things were done by-the-numbers, but hopefully some more regular characters are founded with this. The end of the episode was pretty much a repeat of the previous episode's ending, so I do wonder how long they'll last this time.

    Totally Radd!!. So turns out I'm a student again. First semester I do one module, thursday mornings, and second semester I do three, totalling 60 credits to make me a Part-Time Student for £900. The extra credits on top of the credits needed to pass my degree means I can still get a high 2:1/1st. I'm still kinda fluffy with elation, and therefore convinced my future self is totally capable of such hard-working feats... We'll see. Work was nice as everyone there was someone I liked and they 'trained' me at deliveries, which means I have a better chance of staying on after my temp is up. Back home, got changed, and now I gotta go walk 30 mins to a dub step night sober, with no guarentee I'll enjoy the night, and that long horrible walk home which, these days, is really becoming a factor. WEEKEND TOMORROW YAAAAAA! Need to sort out banks/finances a wee bit, then going t'shorty and nami's in the eve to hang with the chesterfieldians and drink and be cool. There's a boxing match on at 2am that my housemate has invited me to go watch at his mate's house. It finishes at 5am... then midday sunday I'm off to watch two Bad Movies at a mate's house. Then mondayworkaaaah!

    I've not got to the point of complaining yet, seeing as I'm only a temp at the moment and may actually NEED the job full time. That extra 7p an hour should work out to pay for my council tax ... Which I don't think I need to pay. Got a letter from uni saying I CAN continue on my course, but with restrictions. I'm guessing the restrictions are caps, so I'll probably be paying £3k+ tuition fees for a max of 40% on whatever it is I gotta do. Will find out in less than an hour! Freaking out.

    17 goals in teh 4 top-flight games. Tuesday's clashes are going to be interesting as there's a lot of relegation-on-relegation action, as well as moria and ell meeting up again. Made me smile Cheers Cube! I needed a good start to my day.

    I've noticed at work that I do comparably more work than the regular guys. One of them afterwards told me that they usually hire the temps that they've trained in the most areas. They've not trained me in anything. Bad bad bad. Got my hours for the next 2 weeks, and while I pretty much just do 10 this week I'm doing 32 next week. Looking at that then realising I'm getting minimum wage for all the effort makes sad face take control. But I just gotta work my face off 'til xmas. If all goes well I'll have enough to cover rent for the rest of the year. Tomorrow I find out if I'm still a student or not. Really getting nervous.

    So I'm confused. I was told previously that if I failed my retake, that would be it, then last week they emailed me an appointment to talk with the course leaders, now my mum's saying she's got a letter saying that they're happy to allow me to continue with my studies with certain restrictions (noidea). Didn't think I had any studying to continue. Will find out at 2pm tomorrow, I guess. Woke up in a mild rush to eat and sort stuff out before work only to actually look at my timesheet and see I'm in at 6, not 1! Result.

    Just watched Priceless (I think...), which is basically a french chick flick, with that hot chick from amelie, Coco and Chanel, etc (lots of sideboob!) playing one of those hotel whores who slowly falls in love with a bartender who she thinks is a millionnaire. Lots of julia roberts influence, and basically a film for gays and girls -- but it's in french so us manly gorillas can just pretend it's some arty world cinema thing and get away with watching it. 13/20 - Wears 'cute' very well.
