Pft. Blates proves it. It was a marketing ploy, pure and simple.

Xpert 11 Season 17: 1, 2, you know what to do.
jayseven replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
My team doesn't like playing anymore. -
I'm not a fan of needing an excuse to drink. Every time I've played Ring Of Fire I've been drinking my drink continuously, rather than just waiting for a particular 'offense' to occur. I do, however, like playing drinking [tv show]. Attempted once to play drinking scrubs, where each person picks a character (or two) to follow, and each time that character does something stereotypical (JD daydreams, cox calls JD a girls name, turk dances, etc) you drink. But yeah - generally I'm a fan of "just fucking drink, ffs."

That prison is dull.

Well unlike everyone else, I found that video ace. If you can be that badass jumping across buildings like it's nothing then I think you're entitled to be a douchebag.

Games without combat/fighting/killing/shooting

(but there'll still be a fair bit o' shoot-out :P) -
I think you've told everyone now, Caris. You can relax a bit!

10 nomnoms for True Grit and the coens get nothing :P Fighter got two best supporting actors - if anythitng that just reinforces my hate for Marky Mark :P Glad I didn't stay up to watch it. I think it would've angered me. (shame ninjavideo's gone, they kept me up to date with oscar-worthy movies.)

Roo; it's not a religion. Fact is; birmingham just won a trophy for a competition that you not only didn't win, but they also knocked you out of on their way to winning. The fact that fans need to somehow go "oh but we won this other thing this other year!" is really, really, really sad. Ramar is man enough to admit when things don't go his way -- he goes against something I said by saying that the ref did something wrong that would've benefitted Birmingham (I do agree, but then I also felt that bowyer was looking for it, and we all hate bowyer...).

Just thought I'd add; I think the arsenal squad is a great one. If Bendtner had come on earlier or if Van persie could finish the game, it may not have gone the right way. If the game had gone into extra time, or even penalties, then it would've been arsenal's eventually - but the joy of the cup is that we can hark back to the old fashioned saying; 22 men on the pitch with 90 mins to play yet the germans always win... Errors are still errors. One team may have 200 chances but the fact that they are all blocked makes the match even and fair. The referree was top notch today. Arsenal pressured heavily but could not find the finishing touch in the last 20 mins. I don't think this performance in any way reflects arsenal's other silverware chases, it's only idiots addicted to stats who have to see it that way. EDIT: Roo you're exactly what I'm talking about. Such petty talk is completely benign. Birmingham just won a trophy that you couldn't win this year. Take it on the chin and stfu.

Fantastic game as a neutral. It's why cup finals are so fantastic - a middling club can perform out of their skin fuelled on little but a dream. Johnson was a proper trooper playing for over 20 mins with what looked like a performance-altering knock. The brummies played smart not to sub him and play defensively; beausejour gave arsenal troubles and martins had the energy to last the last few minutes. Bendtner didn't make the impact he should've done, but then while arsenal had a dozen chances they were perhaps too greedy individually, too often taking a crack when a smart pass would've paid off. Still; glad to see the underdog turn into top cat Been a day of surprises with hammers and fulham (and england's cricketers :P) pulling off some respectable results.

The killstreaks everywhere never bothered me, the quickscoping was a very, very rare thing - and even then I was never completely outgunned and managed to keep my own - the one man army noob-tubing was, again, under-utilised. You forget the sprint-slashers and the shielder tactics, but essentially they're still all just tactics. I had great fun for over 25 days worth of gaming. But then I've not played Blops yet :P Just sold MW2 in a financial crisis too :X

"actress filtered water" "india and prisons" "aramark abang gulf! Well japan offered depression." "Performed by tonight bringing bacteria" "Infected victims" And award for most poetic; "Underlying. Converted but content" It's way better if you watch it with CC but with the audio on mute. How do you turn it on for other vids (I want to see what my vid supposedly sounds like)

3 mobile piggy-backs on a lot of other networks so it actually has some of the best coverage out there, btw. (my life in general is fine so I have nothing to complain about)
-
Hmmm... Not liking how short the game is. Any decent signs of replayability? What sort of difficulty does the echoes mode have?

Hey Dom,I've not got interesting hair nor interesting things going on in my life, but thanks for asking after me I'm currently staying in a house with a tortoise and four guinea pigs. My girlfriend won't let me mate the pigs. Not personally mate with them as that'd traumatise them.

flameboy; that may be the case, but if I have no experience playing MMORPGS then I have no real way to respond to the questions seeing as I genuinely do not know what I'd actually respond to the scenarios presented, only how I'd like to think I'd react. However, I can probably summarise my gaming ways; I like to cooperate with my friends - be it a 2-player split-screen shredding of the horde or working in a team v team deathmatch. I like to explore the world presented to me and eek out novelties - however, I rarely achieve perfection in anything, cannot be bothered with directly competing with my friends. I actually prefer linear experiences to open worlds, and I generally the more 'essential' information I have to endure then the more likely I am to switch off. I prefer the illusion of choice.

Oof, a closer outcome than I expected! If I had been more aggressive, or been more random with my formation/guessed maddogs then maybe I'd've done better. A heartening game -
New title to be released on the Megadrive

NRGUK - just a word of warning; we don't tend to allow newbs to join purely to advertise their wares/news. -
I dith roffel heartily! "We should fax apple juice to each other!" "stealthy ninjas... stole... my mother..." (words to those effects. Too busy laughing to remember correctly)
