I used to think similarly to you. Then I recalled all the "hey." conversations I used to hate on msn/facebook. Turns out these are people trying to make the effort! I felt bad since then. In general it's tricky to just go "hey! how are you?" sincerely. Most people are all "Hey, how are you? DISREGARD THAT I WANT TO TALK ABOUT MYSELF!" Because of the ADD-addled internet generation that is Generation Why (us), we've shifted social paramaters. You don't just meet up with a mate at a place anymore - you don't just answer the phone when you want - you don't even respond to PMs or emails when you want - immediate social interaction is granted with texts and IMs and it's rare that both sides are necessarily 'primed' for a conversation. If you're feeling out of touch with people there's only two things you can do. Make the effort to get in touch with them, or sit and get a brain eneurism wishing that they'll get in touch with you.

As with pretty much all facebook updates, it took me a 30 minutes to notice, then five seconds to go "oh they've changed again*" then I carry on with my fucking business.

I don't see the big complaint... There's one in a park near my junior school that was ALWAYS in use for wall ball, at the least. We also played a surprise-variant of football-tennis with it. Kids have a lot of imagination. Stupid Sun.

Before (I'm in the red...) During After Initially I had said "yeah just take a bit off the back and sides," then the trainee hairdresser friend of a friend said some jargon so i said "ok, just short back/sides it but keep the fringe long." Currently playing Alone in the Dark for the G's. Sometimes I really see this for the gem it tried to be -- but then very quickly it reminds me just why it's shit. Currently just climbed up a cliff (only died 6 times) and pulled myself up a rope into a subway station, where four regular enemies and three bastard-enemies spawn. The enemies in this game generally require fire to finish them off, but you can render some unconscious if you have a large enough melee weapon meet their face enough times. However, combined with having no additional weapons or firepower beyond my pistol (magnum whatever) I also have no first aid sprays. I die after 3 hits. I may cry.

My goalkeeper got sent off. To be fair he did commit the crime of letting in 4 goals in no time at all. Playing top o' the league with my reserve keeper next game... uh oh :P On the plus side, we scored our only chance of the game! Good work, team!

Got another narrow home win! Sold one of my strikers for millz. Regarding goalkeepers; Van Der Sar has aided Man U not only with shot-stopping but with great ball dispersal, leading to lots of non-factually-backed-up goals.
