I fuckin' loved this show as a kid. Was so freaky, really took my imagination. There's another show I loved as a kid, but I thought it was called Odyssey, but imdb isn't helping me here. It was about a kid who was in a coma, and he found a bunch of other kids. I literally don't remember anything else at all. Anyone?

my girlfriend's parents have a laptop that powers up so that the cd tray opens (no idea if relevant), but nothing comes on the screen. I've hooked it up to another monitor and tried pressing the change screen source button thing (F4) but the monitor still says no signal. Anyone got any diagnosing ideas?

That rule is really only in place in regards to a goalkeeper save, and holds no bearing on the kick itself. You could argue that it could be 'offputting' for the keeper, but frankly a few yards here and there isn't going to distract a keeper from the job at hand - a penalty! oh hey wow, you're all fuckin' idiots. I've been open about my role and my targets for days now. My investigation (that peeps got) says that ReZ is innocent, so I believe that -- but that does not dispel the fact that he could be a crap cop. From my point of view, I know I'm innocent -- and ReZ's magically gained power to say that I'm not, and that I silenced him, just contraticts this. Where's the evidence that I've silenced anyone else? I didn't silence him, so BLAH to that. We have an investigator in ReZ, who did not start as an investigator, and this is backed up by his buddy diageo, who has not revealed anything about their partnership besides "we don't have a role but OH WAIT now rez has one". I really do have to bring us back to my code-breaking in the first couple of days. I BROKE THE GAME with that shit. I spent HOURS decoding. If I'm evil then explain my actions. Explain the investigation I've done. So far none if my info has been wrong. I'm supposedly evil based on ReZ's claims. Now, diageo initially stated it but both agree; they think I silenced rez, and they both think I'm evil. I think I had a heart attack watching MOTD tonight. Barton was, for once, not a complete bastard. it was him and Nolan that kept heart and spurred the side on. Arsenal going down to 10 men plus thinking "well, we've won it" meant they fell apart. Man U were abysmal. Their form's been shakey for over a month now, and chelsea are showing signs of a resurgence - tomorrow should be interesting!

2nd best thing to happen to me today; my dad got a skyplayer account and I can has sky! Can either put it on my xbox or my laptop. Laoptop means portable and night-time viewings, xbox means better tv. Choice can be changed later, but I figure laptop now and later get a cable to hook it up to TV = win.

Just wanted to say that if you compare the number of cases of breast cancer versus national population, the percentage of incidents has actually gotten smaller, albeit marginally. I guess it's still a shame a decade of research hasn't changed the figures much, though.

Sobered up, and read the thread. Other places in the US already have a similar legislation, and if you look at it as an anti-littering campaign then it is totally understandable. Smoking has rapidly become some mad form of anti-social behavior in the last decade, and what gets me most is the anti-smokers who have put up with it for so long are suddenly so rabid and trigger-happy about just openly shouting at smokers. In my opinion, the reaction a non-smoker has is greatly oversized in comparison to the act of smoking. Threads like this piss me off because everyone starts generalising. One smoker has smoked right next to you? BAN ALL CIGARETTES AND PUT THE FUCKER IN JAIL. The next smoker that walks past also deserves a look of contempt because he is clearly morally, psychologically and spiritually related to the first smoker and you clearly have a right to immediately cast an opinion of disproval on his character. I just think there are much, much, much bigger and important things to waste your emotions on than the dilemma of whether to shake a fist or not. Is living in a society where people smoke really making you hate life/the world/people that much? Sidenote: Thing about laws is that they should come with an attached "... this is illegal because..." so that an individual can fight the claim. If I'm smoking on the beach and there's nobody near me for 300 metres, and I've got a stubby (portable ashtray), is someone right to come all the way over to me and fine me £31? If the law is in place for health reasons and environmental reasons and I'm not going against either cause of the law, then should the law be upheld just for the sake of it? A minor question.

had a mate round and this demo was a great pad-passer game. Trying to one-up each other was a great laugh! Is there a regulation on the thumper/slingshotthing device? First time I ran through I had no problems but today we both had issues with it - presuming the enemies we were targetting were too strong to lash towards us. Trufax? Anyway, my run is only 7k-ish, and I reckon I could get 10k if I got each area sorted... but frankly I don't think I give a shit. If achievements were on the line, then maybe. Either way, this game has certainly propped up on my radar (not that I could afford it for at least a year after release anyway :P).

So I just watched Dark City, and while I was initially overblown with symmetaries to not only Brazil and The Matrix, but also one of my own short stories (in reference to the opening). While There was no crystal maze in sight, I was still forced to endure a puzzling/disbelievable (is a real word now) and chaotic THING of a movie that I genuinely forced myself to watch for the last hour and 20 mins. I was glad to see that it actually came out a year before matrix, because Dark City was a failure. It tried too hard to be obtuse then went and told everyone everything. The other day I way totally watched films and stuff. P.S May be drunk.

RE: JGL; Brick, as mentioned elsewhere on this forum recently. He most certainly isn't playing his regular role in that.

Been mega-cramming this game. At about 55 hours, and despite having 15+ active missions I feel I'm coming to a head. Is there a certain point in the game where you'd recommend I save it in order to see all available outcomes? Currently I'm fairly certain that;

1) My role is; target one person to investigate, then target another to send the info to. I get no copy of the information, but I presume I carry out the investigation. 2) I do not receive any copy of the info. I get no PM whatsoever from cube, no info or anything whatsoever in any way. One night, though, I was told that my investigation failed.

Somebody switched me and him because they know that I am being pressured. It makes sense that the switcher is mafia. It's just too much of a coincidence. But I don't care. Vote me off. I can concentrate on the other two games better that way.

I'm a psychologist, and I deal with faithless individuals who are stuck in a rut and showing no signs of religion. Going by my character description, I'd say that I've got anti-religion books to help better my services. "Know thy enemy" sort of thing. My role only seems to work when people stay at home when I visit, so I have no other info besides a couple of addresses.
