I do have reason to suspect my info isn't as clear-cut as it has been, but it's the third "HMMMM" moment I've had of you. [directed at smeagol]

Zomg Murr just reminded me of lots! I was a big senses fail fan for a while!

I answered one once and just went "LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOO! LOOOLLLOLOLO!" until they hung up.

Artful Dodger Oxide and Neutrino Modjo Chili Peppers Zebrahead The Ataris Zeromancer The Used Jimmy Eat World Finch mewithoutYou Kings of Leon The Strokes .. Were the only entire albums I remember listening to on teh way to school/college. A proper playlist would have a few one-hit wonders - All-american rejects, the acadamy is..., etc. Times like these I wish I still had my music collection so I could run through it and be all "ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!" and stuff. Damn!

Cube; I'm an expert at sleeping during the day. I am now conditioned so that I cannot just wake up straight away with my alarm clock - even without one, if I stir I'll just roll over and "go back to sleep." Dreams are definitely mroe vivid here - I know what you mean! I do wonder if, perhaps, sleeping when it is light somehow increases retinal activity?

I want to fulfil my potential to be awesome. And make money doing it. Pretty much; Step 1: Do something Step 2: ??? Step 3: Profit!!! ... situation that I find myself in.

I have info to suggest that smeagol witnessed ell's death. Vote: Smeagol to ensure we get his info, rather than see jonnas potentially run into the ground.

No Mafiawesome is just how I try to differentiate my style from others :P

Good thread :)I've been saying to my programmer mates that they need to make a facebook app for me so I can remember who I've lent things to and borrowed things from. I've got about a dozen books I've borrowed that I can't be arsed to find.

Lol :P yes I am, I've seen like 6 episodes maybe a year ago now?

Boy, 13, faces life in prison without parole.
jayseven replied to Dan_Dare's topic in General Chit Chat
My main qualm is the "life means life" element. The crime itself is one that a judge and jury need to work out, not a bunch of hot-headed forumites who only know what happened from one news article. Clearly there's a lot more going on here than we know about, so it's not our place to infer. If someone commits an evil act I do not think an equally evil act is thus condoned. Sending a child to grow up and die in prison is pretty horrendous in itself. Punishment is rarely going to be apropriately equal to the harm caused in the first place. BLEH. Stupid. -
O_W you heard of Metalocalypse? Fucking awesome cartoon on Adult Swim. EDIT: Lol just noticed Mundi's post. Dethklok do Metalocalypse's music iirc.

I couldn't watch all of the star wars one. It's entertaining enough, just I rarely sit and watch long vids that I 'stumble' on. having said taht, I did watch the 30 min review fo Baby's Day Out, and I'll probably watch the avatar one too - I'm just not as interested in star wars (and I've not seen the star trek films).

Lol what? A champion side does precisely what Man U did last night -- come from behind to win the game. it takes a team of caliber to never give up and to have the willpower and the belief to succeed. You're being dimsighted if you're trying to take anything away from the victory. As a neutral, it was a fantastic game. Man U showed once again that when they're in trouble they still have cards to play in order to change things around. Arsenal may've won as well, but they lost to the team 5th bottom of the lower league in the first leg, so you really shouldn't spout facts and figures as if they have any bearing on the meaning of 'champions'. Aside from this; glad chelsea won convincingly. They may've had a bit of a rough month but maintaining a spot in the top 4 proves that they're still a side to contend with. Spurs should consider their next three games 9pts in the bag (sunderland posing the biggest threat) until their derby with arsenal which will no doubt bring them back to earth. Newcastle will find Bolton more of a struggle, but I think they will pick up plenty of points before their game with Man U in a month or so.

EDIT: I don't expect anyone to watch it, but mad props if you recognise Bad News :P EDIT: I don't expect anyone to watch it, but mad props if you recognise Bad News :P

Zadie Smith's review of the facebook movie? She's an out-of-date hipster, angry that the world has evolved even in her "generation". Couldn't finish the review the first time - just tried again and -- nope, just as nonsensical as ever. Perhaps it'd help if I saw the movie? Zadie Smith isn't someone I admire, so I read all her words as if she's veiling her contempt for not being a better author. THERE. I SAID IT!

Xpert 11 Season 17: 1, 2, you know what to do.
jayseven replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
Don't worry Danny Took me a couple of seasons to get to grips with it. -
If you can speak two languages, then there's a fuckload of jobs for you. Here, American Express are looking for bilingual people to do simple call-centre work -- but just by speaking a 2nd language they'll be paid an extra 4k a year! There's a games testing company that needs bilinguals for in-game script proof-reading. Neither job requires any qualification, and both advertise experience in teh field as unnecessary (unlike the regular call-centre type AmEx job - you only need to speak english but unless you have extensive customer service records you're not going to stand out in the crowd of applicants!). The majority of young people are idiots. Learning another language is a loaded skill that unlocks many doors, and even makes travelling less frightening. Learning about the world and the diversity of cultures is important for our society's -- our specie's soul. Go be pretty somewhere else :P

The 'yourmomhates...' thing is a meme of sorts, isn't it? Saw it all over twitter last week.

... Lol. I ain't even trying to break this one. It doesn't look like a letterswap thing. Google translate; Removed the english then fed it through again. Says it's haitian creole, but it doesn't translate into anything that makes sense in english.Something about the european union suspects the guy on teh roof is responsible for the lingo switch. Going on context; This is deja vu [smeagol is] feeling. smeagol agrees with jonnas's theory. Someone has a camera? Something about diageo's PM. yeah, it's probably filtered through several languages. Oh dear.

This is the game Duke Nukem Forever should be :P The more I see of it, the more I like it. But I will still be waiting for it to reach £20ish. Because I'm cheap like that. Anyone played the demo yet?

What're the odds of seeing Gray on ITV sport now then, eh?

I'm an amateur dream analyst :P Violence in dreams can mean you're in a state of change - the conflict of the old and the new you can seep out in draems. RAMBLE. Rummy; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis yeah I think the urban legends I mentioned are definitely far-fetched. My dad thought there was someone in the room with him, pressing down on his chest. I was pretty calm and patient about it - I've had those endless dreams where you keep trying to wake up and you wake up in another dream. I had one that went on for so long that it got to the point I knew I was dreaming but couldn't break out (the wiki link mentions something about that I think). I love dreams. I have vivid ones every night, can remember them in detail and often they're completely lucid too.

Sure that's not just your arm going dead because you're leaning on it? :P When you sleep your motor functions are 'shut down' so that your body doesn't act out everything you're dreaming. Sleep paralysis occurs where your conscious awakens but your body hasn't recieved the go-ahead yet. It's like the total opposite of sleep-walking, and urban legends say that sleep paralysis led to several people being wrongfully taken to have died in their sleep, and consequentially buried alive!
