Finally, everyone joined in with the 'I'm Excited!' and 'Hooray!' shouts. Also, don't mention it, I 'totally planned that' and it seemed like a good use of a Super Horn at any rate... ...maybe it might being me some good Mario Kartma for next week, then again maybe not and it would probably only last all of five seconds. Definitely some fun races last night though, thanks for playing, everyone!

I'm still on my launch model PS4, it's sobering to think that beyond a few games which I would keep coming back to, I've barely played on my PS4 at all in those six years. Of course, there are plenty of games on it I still plan to play, but it has just really hit home that I need to start prioritising what I play a lot more if I'm to stand any chance at all. Devil May Cry, Shenmue and Yakuza... those are the three main seris I'll be prioritising playing for now. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and Dangerous Driving... those are the two games I'll go back to inbetween playing other games hopefully. God of War and NieR Automata at some point. Well, it's a start.

I just had another look through this weeks New Releases and eShop Discounts and these are the titles which stood out to me... Celeste 50% off Freedom Planet 50% off Raiden V: Director's Cut 50% off Syberia 1 & 2 60% off Not strictly all Indies but all well worth checking out I'd say. (says me, who owns most of them and has only actually properly played one out of these titles, when it was out on the Wii U)

Thanks for the games tonight everyone, great fun. I even surprised myself in a couple of matches there by not doing too badly. @Glen-i that Roy vs Roy match was intense. Oh and I totally didn't plan that Pikmin shuttle upward uppercut right into a charged Little Mac right hook... ...but I'll take it.

Horizon Chase Turbo adds in Rookie Series DLC for free Reminds me that I have yet another brilliant title to check out at some point soon. I already love the soundtrack as I bought it around the same time and have listened to it a lot. I just need to get on playing the game.

in I'm on my way...

I really enjoyed listening to Episode 4, I've been catching bits of it here and there throughout the afternoon and I just finished listening to the entire show. Thanks for answering my listener's question by the way, I thought it would be the case that you all have plenty of games to play but not enough time to play them, it's interesting to see how you cope with the sheer amount of titles though, I think I'm going to have to start making some kind of list in order to get anywhere with the amount of Switch games I have alone. I'm pretty sure Dennis is hard at work uploading the promotional article for episode 4 in addition to this weeks release and eShop discounts, so it'll no doubt be on the front page soon. Let us know when the latest episode is up on YouTube as well and we'll surely add that to the article as well at a later time.

Is this from back when the forums changed? @Shorty can help you with that from what I understand. It would be good to see you on here more Dean, and if you were to get back into reviewing then that would be excellent as well.

That's a good find @Hero-of-Time I just ordered a copy myself, I probably shouldn't have but I know I'll listen to it a lot so what the heck. An extra heads-up as there are only 4 copies left now... I've no idea if they restock or make more after this, I'd assume they would but who knows.

True but if it did come out and if it was coming to Xbox One first then I'd be there, if not though... then that's one less reason to switch on my Xbox One. Also, if PSO2 doesn't make it out over here then that's just the final slap in the face and nail in the coffin... it makes me even more thankful that I can still play PSO at least.
-
It makes the idea of Project Scarlett more appealing to me, if it's just going to be focused on being 'the best of Xbox' but the question is... is that even enough any more? I've barely played my Xbox One since owning it, PSO2 will be its last saving grace for me, so the idea of buying another Xbox is not the most enthralling idea. All of it comes down to the exclusive games though but I think it's too early to tell right now how the next generation is going to go.

Nice one @Cube I reckon she's a keeper you know... ...and the girlfriend as well. Seriously though, that's an excellent idea and I hope you both have a good Switchmas. Also... this means you'll be able to write reviews again for N-Europe, right? (We'd love some reviews from you if that's something you'd like to do in the future if you have the time, so give us a shout if so) Anyway, that aside... have yout got any Switch games lined up that you're wanting to play? I see you've already got Super Mario Odyssey, definitely a great starting point.

It's not your fault, I put the blame squarely on Nintendo for choosing those evolutions for the thumbnail... ...and maybe myself a little bit as I had hoped to have put more time into the game by now, it just hasn't happened yet. It will do soon now though as I want to level up my team and get me a Drum-ape, Buff-Dragonball-Fire-rabbit and a... Killer-killer-killer-killer-killer-chameleon! I'll use their proper names when I find out what they are... maybe.
-
I was thinking that... although I must admit that now I have seen them (I'd already seen the fire evolution but that's it) it does make me want to go back and play the game more. But I get it though, I hadn't had that much time to put into the game and I'd have liked to have seen them evolve in game and be 'It evolves into that?!?' but oh well. Everything just seems to move so quickly these days, in an ideal situation though, two weeks should be enough time but sometimes it just isn't. I can still fondly remember playing the early games on my GameBoy and clearing the main story in a matter of days to a week, ah simpler times...

Get in! Finally a reason to switch my PS4 on again... ...Monster Energy Supercross will surely be the first game that I platinum.

N-Eaction: Nintendo's Mobile Strategy With the recent announcement of Season Passes for Mario Kart Tour and Animal Crossing Pocket Camp we thought it was time to talk about Nintendo's Mobile Strategy. In it we look at the mobile titles which have been released thus far, what we think of their monetisation models, what we like or dislike about them and what could be improved. Thanks to @Glen-i & @Vileplume2000 for their contributions and @RedShell for making the perfect graphic to with the subject matter. Enjoy and let us know what you think about Nintendo's Mobile Strategy, what you like or dislike about it and maybe some hopes for future titles... ...or is it too late and have Nintendo allowed themselves and their mobile development partners to go too far down the slippery slope of making bells above all else?

No, but I really want to buy it. The only thing which is stopping me at the moment is the possibility of it getting a physical release although... it probably won't and all the other games I've got to play. But if I end up caving in and buying it, or maybe if we end up getting a review code then either myself or another staff member will let you know what we think of it. Personally, I love Shin'en and would love nothing more than to drop everything, get the game, play it and review it... right now. In the meantime though, I wonder if anyone else on the forum has bought it?

Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition launches on the Nintendo Switch eShop on Februrary 20th 2020 for £20... Well, at least it's a release date and price which is easy to remember. Check the article for more information... (and maybe a light-hearted dig at Capcom) For anyone who hasn't played it though, I must say that Devil May Cry 3 is fantastic and if I wasn't already playing it on the PS4 then... ...I likely still wouldn't buy it for £20 on its own, but if it were to get a boxed release with DMC and DMC 2? You can bet that I'd buy them again! But alas... it's not to be, so the PS4 is the platform I'll play them all on.

It's multiplayer only as far as I'm aware Kounan. If you don't have much time to play multiplayer games, it might be best to save your money for another game which you'll get more out of. Plus with a game like Overwatch, it's likely that it will go on sale again at a later date, probably for even cheaper than that I'd have thought. For what it is, I'd have said £10 - £15 is a fairer price to pay for Overwatch, I know it's new to the Switch but its been out on other platforms for a while. Anyway, that's what I would do if it helps with your decision making on which game to buy but it sounds to me that you might be better off waiting.

Welcome to the Pokémon Club I'm actually only around four hours into the game and haven't left the Wild Area yet so you're not far behind where I am in the game. Looking forward to playing more of it though, the battle music has been stuck in my head since I last played the game a few days ago.

Nice job @nekunando I've updated the original article with the embedded Youtube video.
