  1. I are Sir Rick of house 'Hamster' I has sword and green hat, I can has Smash invite now?
  2. Ah OK, I had no idea that the stats were linked to badges/progress, I clearly need to play the game more. It's not like I don't want to play the game either, I love Pokémon and when I do get a good play session in on it, it's great... I just need to get into some kind of play routine with it.
  3. What would I need to do in order to help? Just run around the Wild area at the start of the game until I find Toxtricity at one of those red beacons? And then, signal to you to join somehow? The only time I've really partaken in them is when yourself and @Ugh first aid were running them and I happened to join. I don't know a huge amount about these raids really, I'm around only 10 hours in and my team is around level twenty-ish with no badges yet. If I'm of use though I'd be happy to help as I do have Pokémon Sword.
  4. Oh damn... I've just figured out what it is, well played @Nicktendo well played indeed. I'll say no more but I will PM the answer to @londragon now anyway. I'm just glad to finally figure out what the games is as it's one of those which would have driven me mad if I couldn't have figured it out. It's like @nekunando's videogame track guessing podcast game all over again.
  5. I agree, also the clue only makes it trickier I think as even though it's narrowed down to a SNES game which Rare was involved with, I'm pretty sure that they were involved with a lot of SNES games beyond the ones which they developed themselves. I might have a guess if no one else does but I'm not even confident about guessing at this point.
  6. N-Europe petitions Rick the Hamster for Smash! Everyone has that one character which they really want to be included in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, from the 'dead cert' third-party representatives such as Dante from Devil May Cry, Crash Bandicoot and Rayman to the forgotten Nintendo characters who have only appeared in a handful of games yet have an endearing charm such as Chibi Robo to others who only really got that one game and a handful of cameos yet still have a solid fanbase who would love to see another villain in the roster such as Wart. (you know... from Super Mario Bros. 2 and that recent Nintendo employee leaflet) But there is one character who clearly would boost the popularity of the Super Smash Bros. series by 64,000% absolutely guaranteed, a character who has been as supportive of Kirby as Yoshi has of Mario (despite the rather unfortunate dismounts over the abyss) and most importantly, is a character who is instantly appealing due to being a Hamster and let's face it... probably paved the way for Hamtaro's success in the videogame industry; but we all know that there can only be one Hamster in Smash and his name is Rick! Come on Sakurai, how can you say no to THIS? Now more than ever, we need Rick the Hamster to make an appearance in Smash, of course we know that there will be other characters as evidenced by the second season pass but what about that mysterious extra sixth slot on the roster? That's right... it's Rick's time to shine because you know it makes sense, he would be an asset to any videogame but particularly to Smash being as it is a celebration of some of the greatest characters ever created but even more than that; here at N-Europe we've been officially campaigning for Rick for years now and perhaps most importantly of all, it would really make @Ashley's day and today is his birthday, so how about it Nintendo? (please) Happy Birthday Ashley! I hope you have a fantastic day (what's left of it) and are enjoying taking some time out.
  7. Good games indeed! I was using a SNES controller, that's why I get that fancy icon but I also lose the ability to perform the sarcastic clap. I think you did enough clapping for the both of us though, so all is well. I need more practice at Super Mario Kart... at the start of the first race I was holding down the 'A' button.
  8. Just updating the SNES app.... downloaded, be right there.
  9. I could squeeze in the three GP's now if that's good for you as well?
  10. If the afternoon is better for you then name a time, I can't guarantee there won't be any interruptions but three GP's on Super Mario Kart doesn't take that long.
  11. Oh snap! That's today isn't it? Is 8PM tonight any good for you @Glen-i?
  12. Thanks for the games everyone. I don't think I did too badly tonight and I always feel like I'm learning more about the game each week. Great fun as always.
  13. But this is N-Europe... where we'll use N-E excuse for a pun. (in fact, keeping that tradition going is one of the conditions I've agreed to) Happy Birthday @Eenuh! N-Europe is lucky to have you as a member of our community... and Flink too I suppose. (got to keep that tradition going as well) Seriously though, I hope you both have a fantastic day.
  14. Double Dragon & Kunio Kun Retro Brawler Bundle announced for the Nintendo Switch Double Dragon & Kunio Kun Retro Brawler Bundle from Arc System Works is coming to the Nintendo eShop on February 20, 2020. That's one heck of a compilation and although I played a lot of them on the Wii VC, you can bet I'll buy them all again on the Switch. Just... someone make a physical copy and I'm there.
  15. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate hosts a Bows, Spears and Axes tournament, starting on Friday The latest tournament for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate focuses on the weapons triangle. It will run from 07/02/2020 and will last for three days. Bring your best Byleth as each battle is a chance to grow.
  16. In Other Waters swims onto the Switch in Spring 2020 In Other Waters is published by Fellow Traveller, developed by Jump Over the Age and should be launching on the Switch eShop in Spring 2020. 17. This week or next week, it has to be... feels like its been too long between Direct's already even though we just had Byleth. Animal Crossing: New Horizons direct ahoy! Wouldn't it be neat if they let K.K.Slider host it and play us a few songs throughout the presentation? New amiibo figures would be announced as well, including a special K.K.Slider amiibo which lets you transfer an exclusive set of songs to the game... naturally.
  18. Saints Row IV: Re-Elected is coming to the Nintendo Switch in March Add another port of a game which Nintendo platform owners didn't get until now. I heard that the port of the third game was... less than optimal, let's hope this one is a bit more polished. Not picking this up personally, but it's good that Switch owners have the option of buying this at least.
  19. I questioned if it was worth even bumping the thread for this but... Daemon X Machina is coming to Steam. I did pick this up on the Switch, it came with a free metal display plate as a pre-order bonus... this is the most interesting thing to me about the game currently. It's yet another title I want to play one day but until then... the metal plate is nice, it goes well with the Dark Souls one.
  20. The Wonderful 101: Remastered Kickstarter launched and funded within hours Reporting at after 01:01 in the morning? It's worth it for news this wonderful. Did a little write-up about it all because I felt like it and the game deserves the publicity. Here's hoping that now that game will be available across three new platforms that it will get the chance to shine that it never really got on the Wii U.
  21. New Stretch Goals...
  22. The soundtrack is pretty decent from what I remember, the OST just seems to be a sampler though, I went for the basic physical game as it's pretty good value overall. Just looked at the Kickstarter in more detail, there is a full OST tier, 5 CD's worth in fact but... that's a £250 tier, a bit of a jump.
  23. 500K goal reached at just before five minutes to midnight, PS4 version confirmed!
  24. At this rate, it's going to make the 500k required for the PS4 version as well before the night is out, it's at almost 350k already.
  25. This seems like good news. We'll have to see what actually happens when the game properly releases on the Xbox One but essentially it sounds like you can just change your region to US, download the game, change back to original region and play, the only time you might come unstuck is if you wanted to actually buy cosmetic items in the game but this sounds like a great idea if you were just planning on playing the game and not spending anything other than the entry fee which is effectively Xbox Live Gold. I'm hoping there will at least be some way to play PSO2 in Europe as this was going to be the one game which I'd seriously consider switching the Xbox One on for again.
