After another session this evening I'm now halfway through Normal Rank and I've made some progress with the main story. So much for grinding too much though, I didn't make it through the story mission I'm on at the moment, had to use an escape orb. Did some more dojo training and grinding after that, will have another go at it tomorrow, still very much enjoying the game though.

My brother and I started a file on it probably a few years back now, played the opening chapters... it's certainly interesting and one to return to.
-
Hmm OK, thanks... I thought it might be but I wasn't sure. In that case, I'm wondering if there's an ideal level to be for the end of the game as there has to be a balance between grinding a bit and still having levels to get in the post-game. Being that I'm level 25 or so, it's probably time to rescue that Diglett later, maybe.

I've got one for this week... Have any of you played a game in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series? If not, why not? And are you potentially interested in picking up Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX? You knew this question was coming.
-
Diglett check... who has actually rescued that Diglett? Also... completely unrelated question but, what is the level cap for this game? Asking for a friend.

Always sad to hear of anyone selling up their GameCube collection, I hope you get a good price for your games though. I just had a look at Cubivore... that should do well I'd have thought, I can't believe copies of it seem to be selling for nearly £200... in the U.S. at least but that should apply here too. In fact, because yours is the only UK copy on there, that should work in your favour because if anyone in the UK is bidding on it they won't have to pay huge U.S. postage fees. Wishing you all the best with the sales, I'll be keeping an eye on Cubivore purely out of interest, it's such a cool game but very niche. Ironically... if Nintendo were to release it today on the Switch in ANY form, I'm sure it would sell even though it probably has a small audience.

Well, after nearly four hours on the clock, twenty-odd levels of exp and a load of items later, I think I'll call it a night now. I'll rescue that Diglett tomorrow... maybe. This game... it just has that 'one more go' loop which all the other titles in the series have, once it gets you, that's it then... in until the post-game. It has so much charm to it as well, especially with the redone visuals; excellent stuff.

I just got to the point early on where you can go off so some mountain to rescue a Diglett? *continues grinding levels in Thunderwave Cave* Level 10 at the moment, might as well keep at it for a while longer.
-
In that case, I'll just call it Anything. Although I wanted something with a pun... ... N-Ething Nailed it!
-
Not enough characters... Thanks for the suggestion though.

I've just started playing Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX and it's safe to say that I'll be playing it from now until whenever... The adventures of Sam the Bulbasaur and Reginald the Totodile have officially begun! Now I've just got to figure out what to call my rescue squad...

If either Turok or Turok 2 is picked, that might advance my plans to get on with that Turok retrospective article/feature I'd planned to do at some point soon.

Here we go @londragon I've gone through the games and these are the titles which stand out to me... An ACA game (Arcade Archives Axiom Verge Celeste Doom (original) Killer Queen Black Oxenfree RIVE ThimbleWeed Park Toki Tori Turok Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Undertale World of Goo Virtua Racing Those would be my picks, taken from your list list and a few additional titles added for good measure.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate hosts a spiky vs round tournament, starting today Starting today on March 6th, 2020 there will be a tournament for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate which will have a theme based on spiky vs round character and items. This tournament will last for three days, will almost certainly have spikes in difficulty but at least there's a well-rounded cast of characters to choose from.

Yeah, while Random fighters can be fun, sometimes I get a bit miffed when it gives me a character I probably wouldn't bother with as I'm not good with them. Other times though, random makes for some of the best matches ever. That's why I'll often play a few rounds with selected characters before setting it to random. That match with the Wii Fit Trainers was probably the most fun I'd had playing as the character though as I felt like I finally 'got' how to play as them almost. I really enjoyed playing as Byleth again though for a match, one of the best dlc characters to date, which really surprised me.

NES controllers are back in stock as well, half price again too... I ordered some and now I'm not sure why but I'm sure they will be good for a handful of games.

Another fantastic episode. Kudos on the Chinese bots reference and the Podcast E-x-t- -ra- -s! After listening to Nick talk (or not talk) about Undertale... I definitely want to check out that game soon.
-
Agreed, absolutely amazing stuff from Sucker Punch. If you want to make the trailer even better though, turn on captions, auto-translate and set it to English. As for the game generally though, I can't wait for it.

My copy arrived! I've just unsealed it, checked out the awesome interior of the box and the cartridge is now in the case of current 'to play' games. I could start playing it now, but then I probably wouldn't get anything done today... it is very tempting though.
-
Those were some truly excellent matches. Thanks for the games.
-
I'm still all-in for this, I believe in the game and I can't wait to see our review for this. Also my copy just shipped, so I couldn't cancel it in time. (just kidding, I wouldn't have cancelled it anyway)

Thank you for sharing your thoughts Adam. And congratulations, as you made the post-deadline cut because your post was too good not to include in the article. (I hope you don't mind?) I did have a bit more to say about the Switch but decided to just write my part as the introduction of sorts... as we really did get some excellent responses which I was very pleased with, so I just focused on the amount of games mostly, because I haven't played that many games on the Switch but I do intend to, though I have noticed that I've become a bit bogged down with the switch physical game collecting side of things rather than playing and enjoying the games; that is changing though as 2020 is off to a reasonably good start as I've been playing through a lot of shorter games such as the ones in the Capcom Beat 'em Up Bundle as part of A Smashing Cast, I'm still playing Smash and Mario Kart regularly and I blasted through Sega Ages Sonic the Hedgehog 2 the other night... two and a half times. Small steps, but I'm getting back into the game... of playing games... one game at a time. Let's hope for the best for the Switch in 2020 and improvements on all fronts though... and more games, because games. (stop saying games) Games...

The Nintendo Switch celebrates its third anniversary Thanks for the contributions everyone. Happy Birthday to the Nintendo Switch. Here's to many more years of excellent titles and gradual improvement to make the system even greater in the future. Now, it's about time that I actually finished playing a few more games for it, making some progress this year but I've some ways to go yet. And of course, we'll do our very best to provide you with new and interesting, community-driven Nintendo Switch content at N-Europe.

The Nintendo Switch is three years old today. We were going to have a news article up about this earlier but that didn't happen because I only remembered this afternoon. However, we were going to post an article this evening and I'd like to include thoughts from our staff and forum members. If you have a favourite memory from all the time you've owned a Switch, maybe a paragraph or two that you'd like to see included in the article, then please post it in here and we'll include it as part of a general celebratory news post; or if there's anything you'd like to see improve with the Switch, post that instead. All comments welcome.

Last call for those cheap copies of Doom, Doom II and Doom 3 apparently, £1.20, £1.20 and £2.40 respectively. I'm going to just get them, there's unlikely to be a physical Doom collection, plus they've patched out the account requirement stuff and improved the games. Then, Doom 64 is only £3.99 when it comes out on March 20th, I heard there was a pre-order deal for Doom Eternal when you get a code for Doom 64 but does that even count for Switch? Heads-up... Doom 3 is 8.8 GB... that's more than the patch for Doom (2016) ah well... I now have around 100GB still free (total) between my 256GB micro SD card and the main Switch memory after archiving some demo's which I'll never play or probably have use for ever again, I'm determined to not upgrade my SD card.
