Today was good, the morning felt kinda wasted-ish as I went into town with my parents as they needed stuff from various supermarkets and I needed stuff for my new bike, namely a really secure lock, ended up spending about £90 >.> - picked up a rather nice shirt too - some of the stuff needs to go back though, like the front mudguard, which is shit but otherwise everything's fine. Rode in to work on it for the first time today and yep... it managed to get its first scratch allready I tried to dismount and walk it along the pavement for a short distance to avoid a stupidly busy roundabout just before a big hill and I forgot about the throttle on the handlebar and the bike kinda got away from me... >.>' fortunately it landed on the rubber handlebar first and then just scuffed the hard plastic coating of the battery so nothing major however when I tried to 'get going' again on the hill I though I'd broken it because I pulled the throttle and it wasn't doing anything... I then realised it wasn't because I had my hand on the back brake... doh! After that it was fine though and riding back in the dark wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, infact for the most-part I actually enjoyed cycling in the only downside is that I'm tired now, had some Chicken & Bacon Pizza earlier though which was win plus some champagne and cake! because it was my brothers birthday, can't get too drunk though because I've gotta be up for work at 5am boo! but nvm... definitely catching the bus in tomorrow though, don't fancy biking it in at 6am lolol, riding in four times a week is enough for me ty, at least for now anyway... :p

I've literally just finished playing this fantastic game! I love it even more than the original and am even buying the first one again to play through it again at some point loved the ending as predictable as it was... final battle was reasonably original too, plus some fantastic setpieces throughout not to mention the truly unbelievable visuals and sound. Game Of The Year? definitely, game of this generation? quite possibly.

Don't worry Ine, I was pretty much/am in the same boat never really been one for going out much in my teens but recently I got introduced to some of my brother's friends and we've since been out a few times together and sometimes its actually been a good laugh. So go for eeeeeet! you'll never know if you don't give it a go and it might be fun.

I've always felt Fur and Gold to be superior, Ys becomes more beautiful with each listen and Jagged Little Pill I've always loved since when I was young - it would be played in the car often - recently got back into it though through the CD and DLC on Rock Band. Plus I've now purchased her other albums, mostly for a few quid each, they should make for enjoyable listening indeed.

I really don't get why a handful of people didn't like NSMB on the DS and apparently in turn this... I enjoyed it for what it was when it came out, an entertaining new 2D Mario Bros game with many cool throwbacks to the classic Mario games and a load of new stuff. This seems to be that but bigger and better, so I fail to see the negative :p sure it'll never be as good as SMB3 or SMW but what is? anyway I can't wait for this, gonna be great fun. ... Now you're having a laugh, it's good but not that good... but each to their own etc.

Yes and no... depends if they knew that you 'liked' them before or not, if they did know then not really because it's like saying 'if they won't be with me then they shouldn't be with anyone else' which is selfish but if they didn't know then yeah I'd hate it but it'd be more hatred of myself for not telling them than actual hatred of their recently found 'love'.

Today I've been listening to the beautiful Ys by Joanna Newsom, the well-rounded Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette and the charming Fur and Gold by Bat For Lashes... ... none of which is actually helping me with reviewing because they are far too distracting oh well nvm, I'll deal with it.

Seems like a fair comment to me, I didn't find either of the two tracks particularly amazing.

Most of today was spent by me and my Dad sorting out my new bike, it's all assembled and road-worthy now gave it a quick test ride up and down the road, feels great and that's without the battery attached - it's charging up atm - can't wait to start riding it properly. ^^

It does sound rather similar... oh random fact, I used to call it 'Welsh Rabbit' when I was younger... used to think it was rabbit on toast or something daft lolol.

Well they aren't necessarilly supposed to just that many ten to end up being a kinda half circle when folded, but only if they are thin enough to be folded, thicker omlettes with loads of stuff in the mixture tend to turn out more like a Pizza, in which case you can just 'quarter' it.

Ty Ine your omlette looks lovely btw, I know it's not a 'half-circle' like omlettes generally are but Imo, the more 'abstract' they are, the better! mine often turn out like that too but still taste great!

Untruths! it was halfway down the second page but has since received a bump! anyway, there is room for two cooking-related threads I reckon but if not then this could be merged with the older thread. Regarding lamb, cook until the outside is golden/brown, that's the general rule.
