This... c'mon Sega! you're on a roll atm, might as well give the fans exactly what they want from a 2D Sonic game, especially as it's being strung out episodically, because if the first ep is shit, not everyone will bother coming back for the rest... ... unless they're masochists. I jest... either way it's still looking to be one of the best Sonic games in years and it's hard to see how they can fuck it up now, then again, this is Sega.

*bravely unpauses* Wow you're right! that was craptacular... Why Sega are wasting time with this and not pouring time and resources into making an F-Zero game for the Wii is beyond me... I know F-Zero GX criminally didn't sell a huge amount at the time but surely it would sell more now than this hollow and shameful spin-off series?

Those were just to illustrate the point... anyway I may have said they weren't necessary but that doesn't mean I won't post any... :p I quite often type things that are unecessary anyway... Like this post... --------------------- Back on... -

No words are necessary just this... and this... -
Kate Bush is genuinely stunning, yes she is 'a bit bonkers' but she's basically famous for it and paved the way for the 'weird women' musical movement, if it wasn't for her then it's arguable that we wouldn't have many of the fantastic female artists that we have today that started their rise to fame after she became better known. As for her actual music, she's produced some amazing albums throughout her career, I was fortunate enough to pick up 'This Woman's Work' which is basically the box-set of her entire collection of albums up to and including 'The Sensual World' this is when I started to become more familiar with her works even though I still feel like I need to listen to her a lot more... just because. :p But yes, she is well worth listening to, for anyone who's a little curious I'd recommend purchasing 'The Whole Story' which is a collection of some of her most famous singles but this is still no substitute for buying her actual albums, though it does give a mere taste of what to expect from her... in a sense the compilation title is quite apt because it's not really even half of the story, barely even a third but it does indeed give a taste of this rather extraordinary artist... ...once you've had a taste though you'll probably want to try the full course, *omnomnom* she is pretty tasty afterall. >>

DO WANT! This game looks stunning, hopefully it plays as good as it looks.

I was fortunate enough to pay about £10 for my fully boxed gold cart version of Ocarina of Time a few years back as it was somewhat criminally mislisted on eBay so I took full advantage!

Finally decided to play Splosion Man today after purchasing it months(?) ago when it went down in price... It's pretty decent and I love the fact that you have to 'wall-jump' through a good proportion of it, feels suitably old-skool but with a modern twist.
-
and so true too, damn Activision! :p as a sidenote, I've yet to try this game but will no doubt purchase it upon its price plummeting in some sale promotion a month or two down the line.

So... I attempted a level 49 Grotto today... I made it through ten whole floors! ...and then got 'raped' by a Darkonium Slime and TWO Octagoons. fun times!

Yeah, there are a select few I believe that don't work with the GBA, plus it may have been released at the time when the GBA was kind of new and os it was just an extra bit of reassurance in order to bag a few extra sales I think.

The only things I really don't like about this game so far are that some sections are likely to feel 'forced' due to the different but slightly 'dumbed down' control scheme - due to lack of the nunchuk - and the fact that many of the new enemy designs - presumably made by Team Ninja - look rather uninspiring and crap compared to past Metroid games.

£18.50 on eBay... trust me, a bargain in comparison to how much a sealed copy is.

Genuinely stunning, will be picking up her album sometime soon for sure.

I too have a PS3 which I don't use as much as I perhaps should, I did buy it for the main exclusive PS3 titles that actually interested me, so far I have seven including... God of War Collection - currently playing God of War III - unplayed Metal Gear Solid 4 - completed Ninja Gaiden Sigma - in progress Ratchet and Clank - completed-ish Uncharted - completed Uncharted 2 - completed Now... I've only actually completed three out of those seven games but notice which three held my attention the most, both the Uncharted games and - yep you guessed it - MGS4... Admittedly MGS4 is not the easiest game to get into, especially if you've never played the previous games, fortunately I had the opportunity to play through the previous three beforehand as I bought the MGS trilogy boxset when it came out, so I was essentially 'ready' for MGS4. Basically I loved playing the game from start to finish, yes some of the cut-scenes do drag on... a lot... but that's Metal Gear Solid for you, it's a trait of the games that will always be as essential to the games as the stealth because that's how its been since the first MGS, though obv everything has just become more elaborate recently thanks to the extra storage space afforded by the Blu-Ray format. I may not be a huge 'Playstation' gamer - as I spend a good deal of time playing other consoles - but MGS4 is still one of the finest games available on the system and it's well worth playing through to the end... if you've played the three games that proceed it.

^ I found that trailer to be awesome and somewhat jarring simultaneously... While it's great to see the return of the grapple beam, speed dash etc and some nicely detailed environments such as the fire and ice sections, wtf is up with - what is presumably - Ridley? shown at the start and end of the trailer, plus the einvironment/awkwardness at those parts, it's like, theres Samus running into a field? and there are the other troopers standing there gormlessly and then all of a sudden... omfgit'sridleyjumpingonsamushai... And then the trailer ends... it just feels awkward. :/

Err... how? O.o [/curious] *edit* nvm... I just found that out. Grottoes are teh awesome, just been doing those recently as I really cba with doing some of the quests... >.> the only annoying thing is the repetition of bosses, I must have fought a certain - rather uninspiring boss - about three times, I did get to fight a pretty awesome boss today though which kind of made up for it.

Then do eeeet! tell her this before it's too late and you end up possibly regretting it.
