I was under the assumption that you can just move everything from your full memory card to the PS3 and then just move everything back onto the new, larger card... is this not the case?

I have received 'the text' from ShopTo which in my experience means it's on it's way so could have it by tomorrow and if not then pretty much guaranteed for Thursday. Ohhh yeah!

@Ashley as Aimless suggested PlayTV is most likely to provide what you're after, I've had it for many years and it's very good for what it is.

I used to think that I knew the answer to the question 'What is love?' but now... ...I can't even pretend that I know the answer because quite honestly I'm clueless. This feels pretty relevant to me right now. So in summary...

Back on topic... Who is actually 100% definitely getting this game on launch? I know I am because of the simple fact that even if it doesn't reinvent the platforming genre we all know it's still going to be 'classc' Mario in some form or another which still counts for a lot, especially in this day and age where we have more choice than ever... Many platformers come and go but Mario is timeless. So sign me the fuck up! : peace:

Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes (Wii/Wii U Online RPG)
S.C.G replied to killer kirby's topic in Nintendo Gaming
You've got to look at it from a business perspective though, each account takes up space on their servers for characters etc so it makes sense to free-up space by deleting the data of those accounts who are deemed 'inactive' as it then frees up space for regular paying customers. However from a gamers perspective I agree it does seem rather harsh... This is why I love PSO on the Gamecube because your character data is your own on there and back in the day you would use the same data for both offline and online play but the big difference was that your characters are yours to keep forever - or as long as the battery on your memory card lasts - meaning that if I wanted to - and I still do sometimes - I could go and start up where I left off allbeit offline. And yes I know you can still play on private servers but I'll be damned if I'd trust my level 175+ character to something unofficial. On the subject of this game though, I'm definitely interested but only when the Wii U version comes out as by then it should be relatively popular and functioning more fully than the Wii version probably ever will due to its technical limitations. -
Unusual yes but this is Cornwall :p and yes it's a pretty busy car boot when the weather is nice.

Nice haul @lostmario World of Illusion is a classic game so a bargain at that price, liking the Mario DS holder too. I shall probably be attending my local car boot this Wednesday - same one I got the Midi Guitar from - if the weather is good, I'll report back if I find anything decent.

Plus relationships aren't everything as my recent break-up has taught me as there's much more to life obviously when you're finally in a relationship it can be one of the most amazing feelings, perhaps even comparable to battling a rare Pokemon for ages and then after many failed attempts finally catching it with your last remaining Pokeball... ... I'm really not helping am I? :p But in all seriousness it seems that sometimes the best way to get into a relationship - or whatever else you may be looking for - is to just not really look... that's how I ended up in my last relationship, it may not have worked out but it still lasted a good couple of years or so and it's all experience that's helped me to 'level up' as it were... ... ok I'll stop now. I do wish anyone looking for love the best of luck though : peace: but as for me? I think the only relationship I'll be in for the forseeable future is my life-long one with videogames which I feel I've been neglecting somewhat of late which I'll be going some way to strengthening so that they don't up and leave me too.

^ Classic, but I prefer...

I still think the console is a vast improvement, this whole 'yellow tinge' on the screens really isn't bothering me, in fact I can't say I really notice it, certainly not to the point that it detracts from the gameplay. The speakers are fine but I've noticed they do tend to break up a bit in certain places on certain games when at full volume but inferior with headphones? Not the case here as I'm watching the Kingdom Hearts 3D intro atm and it sounds amazing on a decent pair of headphones. At least one thing we can surely all agree on... the buttons have been vastly improved.
-
Good luck flameboy, I hope everything works out for you. : peace:

I've just realised, this is why there is a almost unnoticable - but still there - pixel-sized scratch on my top screen because I looked at where it would meet the bottom screen when closed and a I found a tiny imperfection on the lower screens outer trim which I have now promptly removed but still, slightly annoying. It's not noticable at all really when playing so it's by no means a deal-breaker but I completely agree, not good enough... even if I am pleased with the system overall.

This was worth the money just to see the Pikmin system transfer animation they're actually carrying all of the data across, such brilliance. So yes, my 3DS XL arrived while I was at work but now that I've been back for a few hours I've confirmed that there are no dead pixels and am in the process of watching the Pikmin transfer everything. Really impressed so far and I haven't even tried any games out on it yet. :p the screens...
-
They do? Excellent, sorry for worrying everyone... seems that I've been - happily - misinformed.
-
Once you've done the system transfer your nex 3DS XL will think that it's your exisiting 3DS - the one you've transferred from - I believe which should include everything including Ambassador games etc so you should just be able to put your existing memory card straight into the 3DS XL after the transfer has taken place and all should be fine. The only thing that doesn't get carried over I believe is your Friend Code which is console specific.
-
Sitting, waiting, wishing... ... and in the meantime catching up on my overdue reviews. :p Still though, can't wait for my 3DS XL to arrive.
-
Shipped with ShopTo! Now all I can do is wait and pray for no dead pixels... : peace: I am in the same situation... ... I got the following responses. After reading this though... ... not sure if I want to upgrade my card, then again some context is needed here I think, @sagat do you mean you transferred the 'extra' data for Mario Kart from one memory card to another and as a result it corrupted your whole save file on the game card? If so, I had no idea that could happen and it puts me off upgrading from my 2GB card which is rapidly filling up and I want to change but... I don't want to lose any of my game saves.

I didn't really check the guitar image closely before posting but basically it's called a 'You Rock Guitar' and it basically does everything that the Rock Band pro guitar controller does plus you can use it as a standalone digital guitar as well. The midi pro controller allows it to be connected toe Rock Band... it wasn't initially intended to be used with it (came out in late 2010) and your supposed to need a cartridge to get it to work with most games (but they're hard to get hold of) but since they introduced a patch on the website since mid 2011 all you need to do is download the patch, plug it in, press a two button combination and you're away! Since I mainly wanted it just to learn guitar on Rock Band 3 its worked out pretty well I played some of the tutorials last night to get a feel for it then while I was playing around on it as a standalone guitar I worked out how to play the first part of the Clock Tower theme from Zelda: Majora's Mask so I was pretty happy. : peace:

Yesterday at my local car boot I got this... And this... With one of these... For £12... ... to say that I'm happy would be a gross understatement.
