  1. An Arwing amiibo would be amazing. It would have to come complete on a stand that allows you to... you know... rotate the ship in either an anti-clockwise or clockwise direction, giving the impression that it's moving like a cylindrical object at high velocity.
  2. Happy Birthday!
  3. I haven't played a Harvest Moon title since the Gamecube era, for me once the series reached that point I was more than happy with it, so no need to buy any more of them. Judging by the way things went after that between the companies I'm glad that A Wonderful Life is the last Harvest Moon game I've played, I always thought that the newer games didn't look right; now I know why.
  4. ***May*** Another slow month owing to me spending more time reviewing and organising games than actually playing them. However I am in the midst of properly going through all of my games, putting all the cardboard boxed titles in box protectors in addition to rearranging everything, when I'm done it will make life easier. : peace: **Completed** None. *Progress* The Witcher 3 - I started it at least... Splatoon - Still trying to work out if I like being a squid now or a kid now... Ultimately even though I've only played both games for a few hours, I've had fun so that's all that matters, more in the way of progress next month perhaps.
  5. My copy of this has just shipped from Rakuten! Only cost me £5.88 from seller 'YouWantItWeGotIt' this was when they had that £5 off £10 when the site went into meltdown, I don't like using the site any more but I knew I'd be wanting this CD so I figured it'd be worth the hassle. : peace: I've always enjoyed listening to Muse over the years and this seems like it's going to be a more than worthy addition to the library.
  6. 'Dem tick-box characters... :awesome:
  7. Wait... it's a side-scroller? with different abilities including a grappling hook? As pleased as I am to see a new Chibi-Robo game, this had better not be our replacement for a Metroid title. Looks interesting though, from the one still on the video which is no longer visible.
  8. So shiny! ;_; [/grownman]

    Dr. Mario

*sigh* it's Dr. Mario so... instant purchase, so long as it's a budget title. I wonder if the Dr. Mario amiibo will work with it? If not that's a missed opportunity there.
  10. "Just the Super Smash Bros. set" I said to myself... Then I just had to buy Toad - because it's Toad - and of course the Splatoon Bundle with all the amiibo. But a Chibi Robo amiibo!?! It's practically impossible for me not to purchase it... ...shelf space be damned!
  11. I had a fantastic few matches on this last night, I ended up getting on late last night at around midnight after finishing some reviews but I had some excellent games with some of you including @RedShell who seemed proficient with his weapon of choice, @VsPhoenix you were lethal with that paint roller plus I'm sure I saw a couple of other N-E players on there too, I'm sure I saw Dazzy and Mike in the games as well. (I'm pretty sure it was all of you I played with, going by your screen names) Either way it was really fun, I think at around 1:30am I decided to call it a night - or morning - after I'd nearly levelled up, I can't wait to play some more games with - or against - you all again tonight though, I'll probably be on at a similar time tonight if I'm not too tired from work. : peace: Also unpacked my amiibo figures last night while watching the bonus round podcast, they are all so detailed and I'm so glad that I decided to go for them, I may start using them tonight... for anyone who has scanned them in, are the bonus arcade games any good? Plus can you choose which one you want to play while you're in the lobbies?
  12. Good to see that you've made some positive steps in your life @Cube and that you seem to be happier for it. I love what you've done with the place, the way in which you've organised everything is particularly pleasing, your fleet of star-ships of various classes is most impressive, it must have taken you a while to amass such an excellent collection. Extra points of course for having your Sega Megadrive set up - mine is always within easy reach at all times - :p not to mention your Sonic Diorama, I had to box mine up again due to space issues but if I had my own place and some of those wonderful display cabinets I would display so much Sega merchandise that it would be like walking into a mini-museum, which of course would take Ages to look around. One day we should definitely meet up and play some Sega games as I believe our interests have been eerily similar for some time, I've been recently watching Firefly again too as I only recently picked it up on Blu-Ray which reminds me... if you want that extra copy of Serenity on HD-DVD for your collection then just say the word and I'll have it posted out to you. : peace: As for depression, I know first-hand what it feels like even though I've denied feeling that way for some time, it's a vicious self-perpetuating cycle which can be hard to break. Moving nearer to your friends and family will surely help though plus I'm sure that you know that if you ever need to talk on here then I'm only a PM away as are lots of people on this forum so you don't need to feel like you're going through stuff alone. p.s your cat is amazing and is... is that a Tribble on your windowsill?
  13. That's awful @Animal... I can't believe your place of work would be that insensitive on top of everything that's going on. You're doing the right thing obviously by being with your Grandad, I seriously hope that he'll be OK and I hope that you'll treasure the time you have with him, whatever happens. Here's hoping he makes a full recovery. : peace:
  14. Oh right... I was too busy playing the squid mini-game to notice! But yes, I can understand why they should patch in the ability to leave when you like along with perhaps the ability for player 1 to be able to use the pro controller instead as while I don't mind using the gamepad, it is nice to have options and I couldn't see a way to do that easily in game. Also... voice chat, it would be nice if it was patched in, if only just for friend matches, now I've seen what the game is like I honestly wouldn't care if it wasn't included when playing with randoms but for friendly games it would certainly add something. : peace:
  15. iOS port? I'm out! Besides, the first time I play this should be on the big screen. I'll get around to playing my NTSC PS2 copy, soon...
  16. I finally got around to playing this for a couple of hours... It's rather addictive, I've just reached level 5 and I've only now opted to buy my first proper weapon set as I was just having so much fun messing around with the standard weapon. I saw some of you online, I tried to join some of you and at least one or two N-E members must have joined me, pretty sure I saw Josh at the very least, joined YesterYear for a couple of matches, I was sure I saw Mr Paul online as well I thought? Either way, had some good matches, one communication error so far but I had no trouble getting in and out of the lobby after wanting to quit, is it ranked match where you can only quit by turning the machine off? If so then that's definitely an oversight. Really interesting game, I'm just hoping that the more I play that the gameplay will still... staaaaay fresh! We shall see. : peace: Also that arcade game is amazing!
  17. Splatoon get!
  18. Are there likely to be many improvements between the PS3 and PS4 versions? If not then I might go for the disc-based PS3 version on import or I suppose I could just play my Gamecube copy. No trophies but... I do like playing Resi games on a GC pad, something that just seems to work really well.
  19. Aww what? they're holding the parcels until then... that sucks. Oh well, still glad I went with the limited edition, it may well have cost a few squid extra but it will surely be worth it.
  20. My copy has been shipped, should be here tomorrow.
  21. How topical... I've been sorting through my Gamecube collection and I've literally just unearthed an extra copy of Resident Evil Zero in perfect condition, it had some marker pen on the plastic scribbling out the barcode for some reason but that has now been removed. I'm now wondering with this news if it will make the price of the original go up or down... either way, if anyone wants to buy it then the going rate for it currently seems to be £10 - £12 quite happy to let it go for a tenner including postage. I may start playing through my copy of the game again soon as well, I've been meaning to play the entire series. : peace:
  22. I know that feeling, I'm pretty much the same at the moment, not much happening with online dating, meeting people at work never seems to work out. Just replace the above image with...
  23. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video. : peace: Took three sessions to watch it all but well worth it, especially the 45 minute long Grant Kirkhope interview - 1hour 30 mins until 2hours 15 mins for anyone just wanting to check that part out - that man has long been an inspiration to me, it's funny though I never actually knew what he looked like, it was always the music that I'd recognise him for but it's good to see that he's a decent guy and it's always nice to put a face to a great, relatively unsung hero of videogames. Right, back to reviewing N64 games the Wii U needs many more of these, I can't wait to see what titles we will get in the future.
  24. Yeah... I decided to 'dazzybee' the 3DS Art Academy games as well, only got around to unsealing them recently for their Stars. But this one is on the Wii U, with more features than Sketchpad, plus presumably unlimited storage, and time lapse! It has got to be worth it.
