I thought it was quite interesting to see games like Rock Band 4 and Rocksmith starting to bridge the gap by letting you use real instruments, I think there is room for both types though. Games and software which teaches you how to play an instrument. : peace: As for this new Guitar Hero? If it's not backwards compatible with old guitars then I'm unlikely to invest. If Rock Band 4 will somehow work with my Midi Guitar - plus adaptor - AND lets me keep my song backlog then that'll be a sale most likely.

This is in the Playstation Now Beta, will probably check it out after I finish playing Batman Arkham City.

This game would be perfect for Sony to add to their Playstation Now service. Just struck me now after testing the beta out last night, this game would get tonnes of use because it's one of those titles you'd want to play every now and then for multiplayer plus it's already a download title anyway, it'd be perfect! : peace:

I got into the beta! Currently playing Batman Arkham City, it runs flawlessly... I still suck at the game but it's running without stuttering. This is glorious. : peace:

I've been following that Collectaholics programme with keen interest. Perhaps in order to not feel so bad about my amiibo collection which I don't really have the room for. Tonight they are showcasing someone who has over 300 arcade machines including Donkey Kong, Outrun etc. Should be good! : peace: Depending on how many amiibo Nintendo decide to release, it could be one of us on that programme in 'X' years time.

Just got in from work... there's still some left right? R-right? *checks thread* ... They sold out how quickly?!? FIFTEEN MINUTES! I'll be in the corner if anyone needs me, playing with my complete up until now Super Smash Bros. amiibo figure set. It's just as well I managed to pre-order them at ShopTo, otherwise I'd have no chance at getting them all.

Don't say that... I'm just about to start playing it tonight finally after hopefully nabbing the last 8 stars in Super Mario 64 which I've been playing on and off. :p Perhaps DK64 is one of those titles which takes a level or two to get into, I know it can be seen as a very polarising game. In fairness I might be the same way when playing it tonight as this will be the... first... time... I've ever properly played it. What can I say? Most of my time with the N64 was taken up with Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie and Conker's Bad Fur Day... in addition to the usual Nintendo First Party classics. I intend to play DK64 to the end this time though. : peace:

I've still got most of mine unused as I've only been putting games that I'm currently playing back onto the hard drive and I'm just 'adding to library' for all of the Plus games. Determined to make the hard drive space last for the life of the console.

Yes... but with ShopTo... didn't they screw people over on pre-orders before? I was hoping to pre-order with Nintendo store, get the whole set done and then I would cancel my pre-orders with ShopTo as Nintendo have yet to mess me around yet, aside from Toad but that was because I tried to order two. They will be cancelling a lot of bulk pre-orders then, it happened before with other amiibo.

It's so true... I've resisted the Mario series aside from Toad, I have the Splatoon set because they come with the game - for a little bit extra - plus that plush Yoshi, I couldn't say no. And no sooner had they appeared... now sold out on the store, there's no chance I'm getting a look in for tomorrows pre-orders being that I don't get home until gone 5pm or so. :/

I believe Hero is keeping one set boxed to keep as collectables, while the other set is opened to be used with the games and displayed. I'm just going for one of each to open, display and use, hopefully going to stop once I've obtained all the Smash amiibo's because I wouldn't really have the room for any more than that, I don't have that much room left to display the ones I have as it is.

They are on the store! Pre-order now... ...annnd they've sold out! They haven't really, but get those orders in quick.

I've been on a bit of a soundtrack buying obsession recently, purchasing all of those OST's I've always wanted, when/if they happen to come up for a good price... Does anyone remember when the Gamecube launched? If I recall correctly, Nintendo actually lowered the RRP to around £129.99 at launch. Those were the days... a different gaming climate as well I know but I reckon if Nintendo were to start bundling Wii U consoles with a pro controller and a brand new first-party title for £179.99 I think it would at the very least sell a little bit better than it is now. Timing would be crucial though, especially if the Wii U only has around two years or so of support left in it. Anyway... E3 is just around the corner so let's just see shall we? : peace:

Why can't they just put them all up for pre-order on the Wednesday? Must you prolong the pre-order agony Nintendo? I'll be able to pre-order on the Wednesday no problem, as for Thursday, working so that means... no hope in hell. I mean I already managed to pre-order via ShopTo but that's only because Nintendo hadn't put them up yet, I would have preferred to get them secured on Nintendo store and order there instead.

ShopTo also have the game and the Green Yoshi bundle for £42.61 (gold price) which seems reasonable to me seeing as the game on it's own will be around £34 - £36 anyway, makes the yarn amiibo only around a tenner or less. If people want to buy all of them in different colours though... then yes it will be expensive. I'm happy enough just with the one. : peace:

This is still a really good single-player game I take it? For some reason I seemed to get the idea from impressions that you'll only get the most out of it from multiplayer which seems ludicrous to me as from the screens and the video footage I always has it down as an enjoyable single player game based around solitude mixed with exploration.
