Make that three copies! I've owned Doshin since back in the day, I remember buying it when my local independent game shop at the time was selling a load of games off, pretty sure that's how I ended up buying Kirby's Air Ride as well. ------------------------------------------------------ Personally for me I would like to see the following tonight... N64 VC games GC VC games DS VC games Next amiibo wave (available to pre-order straight after the direct) Acknowledgement of our patience regarding Zelda's delay (not necessary but would be nice) Compensation for expired VIP points (just extend the dates on the recent game pins somehow) Mario Kart 8 dlc (Available right now) Xenoblade Chronicles X release date (end of June please Nintendo or early July) Yoshi's Wooly World release date (significantly before Xenoblade please) Mewtwo DLC (available... right now!) Splatoon amiibo details, release dates, bundles etc And one more thing... we have a new trailer, please take a look... (Starfox reveal plus N64 Lylat Wars VC game and Starfox Assault either Coming Soon or available right now) That'd do! : peace:

Fair enough, you all make good points... I'll consider picking it up sometime this month perhaps. : peace:

This arrived today... Loving the black case it comes in. Can't wait to give it a try.

So the game is purposely designed so that it has insufficient checkpoints? I don't mind games being challenging but to me the idea of spending around half an hour just to get back to the point before the boss doesn't sound fun at all, why not have a checkpoint or allow saving at the nearest 'safe' point before the boss rather than making the player endure the same repetitive battles? There must be something I just don't 'get' about the game because I really do want to like it but from some impressions so far and previous experience with Dark Souls I think it will probably be better to wait until the hype dies down and the game becomes cheaper, then it won't feel so bad if I end up not liking the game that much. I really do want to like the game though, I just get the feeling that I may be misunderstanding it. : peace:

Looking at the gameplay video which @bryanee posted has only further confirmed what I already knew, the game looks good but it's not something I should be buying right now. When it's around £20 and has hopefully been patched a few times? Probably then. : peace: I never finished the first Dark Souls game when I originally purchased it so I haven't bought another game for full price from the same developer since. It does look good though and I'm glad that so many of you are enjoying it but I definitely agree with @Babooo as it sounds like the game has definite pacing and saving issues.

A Cat passed away on my car passenger seat this morning
S.C.G replied to Murr's topic in General Chit Chat
I despise people who deliberately run over/hurt animals or just don't give a shit. You did a good thing today @Murr and you should be proud of that, I know it won't bring back the cat which was so carelessly killed by that faceless white van driver but at least you made her - the cat's - last moments more comfortable than they would have been, plus by bringing the cat to the vets at least the owners will be able to have closure rather than days going by and them wondering where their pet has gone off to. -
Oh I didn't realise Nintendo were pulling a fast one with the more recent codes, you would have thought that they would have put the expiry date a little later than that seeing as the rewards are still going until September I believe.
-
Oh right, really strange wording though... I may just register them all tonight anyway in preparation.
-
So today - until midnight - is the last day that you can redeem codes from physical products, I'd best get scratching those silver strips!
-
'Dem visuals though... :awesome: They've even 'added' a mouse cursor at the top of the screen, next-gen!

I can't wait to see how the new Star Fox turns out, I'm especially intrigued to see what new things Shigeru Miyamoto can bring to the series, because beyond essentially remaking the same game with nicer graphics it's hard to say what else is really wanted from a new entry in the franchise aside from the obvious online multiplayer mode which would surely go down a storm.

On Rakuten it seems that Xbox One is £243 for today only according to the e-mail they sent me, no idea if it's of interest to anyone but thought I'd just post in case. : peace:
-
I cancelled my pre-order for this as I wasn't sure how many people were going to buy this, plus it's now a busy(ish) release time, will definitely download the demo though I reckon and see what everyone else thinks of it too.

The Wii U may have been behind with third-party titles but not to that extent. (I know... nitpicking plus every COD game is essentially the same anyway bar a few minor improvements) Of course it would have been better for Reggie to say something along the lines of... 'Here at Nintendo we shall be endeavouring to ensure that there are no significant droughts on the Wii U as there were on the 3DS, hopefully we'll be able to deliver an excellent online infrastructure as well.' Then when these things didn't come to pass, people might have ended up being a little less annoyed due to them not being 'outright lies' I suppose? In any case, what does it matter now so late into the Wii U's life-span... For me Nintendo have at least partially delivered this generation and now that they've secured a future with DeNA I have a good feeling that their future platforms are going to be significantly improved because of this, so let's just see what happens; at the very least we've got some excellent games still on the way. : peace:

What do you think the chances are of there only being two Splatoon amiibo figures and Nintendo bundling both in with the game Mario Party style? If that's the case then I'd probably just buy the bundle, but if there's going to be a set of five more amiibo then I probably won't bother going for the set... ...although if there's only a bundle with just one Splatoon amiibo then I'd still probably buy it. *sigh* And there I was hoping to have finished collecting amiibo by the end of the Smash set.
-
Personally I can't wait for this, the latest footage shows off the gameplay really well which is ultimately what matters. This is sure to be a fun experience built around an original IP which has a lot to like about it.
-
Sounds about right, that'd be a week before the rumoured Xenoblade Chronicles X date, so long as it is actually before that then all will be well, if it's a few days before or in the same week then there will be no point in me buying it due to Xenoblade taking up most of my time.

Why not have both? N64 F-Zero on 3DS GC F-Zero on Wii U Plus... F-Zero track editor for mobile Followed by... F-Zero NX launching the next platform. Oh and while you're at it Nintendo... F-Zero Climax for Wii U VC But I digress... In short, any F-Zero remake/release or a brand new game would be more than fine by me. : peace:
-
Of course, but it's unlikely to happen, so I'd settle for a F-Zero GX remaster because that game is near perfect and we probably won't ever see a game of that calibre ever again due to the nature of how it was developed.
-
F-Zero GX, remaster in full 1080p at 60fps, with full online and amiibo support. Instant Purchase! :awesome:
-
I'm sorry to hear that Goron_3.

Mind you... I would have still preferred an up-scaled digital re-release of Conker: Live and Reloaded over this, but it's made me curious to see just what you can do with Project Spark even if it probably won't amount to anything that great.
-
Coincidentally I just purchased the Conker: Live and Reloaded OST, literally just finished ripping it. I also recently bought Project Spark starter pack for £12 from Tesco... http://www.tesco.com/direct/project-spark-xbox-one/612-1175.prd?skuId=612-1175&pageLevel=sku&_requestid=1995616 While it's certainly depressing to think that this is closest we might ever get to seeing another Conker game, it has potentially piqued my interest to actually unseal the 'game' and give it a go, especially assuming this 'Conker Creator' will be either free or reasonably priced.

Over 3000 points for some of the GBA VC titles though? The value in cash of those titles is £6.29 Whereas some of the soundtracks they have had up there for 3000 points tend to be valued at around £15-£20 I think I'll hold out in case we get the Mario Kart 8 soundtrack as I feel that would be better value for your points/money. : peace:

Annnnd he arrived today! Packaged in a box, next day delivery, reasonably priced, thanks ShopTo! *That's how you do it Nintendo. *In fairness Nintendo have been good for getting me my amiibo thus far, just the Toad cancellation annoyed me a bit.
