  1. cue Matt saying Wario Land's soundtrack should be orchestrated. lol But it's true that some TP tracks would benefit greatly from being orchestrated, Galaxy has a perfect balance of redbook and orchestrated music. My biggest gripe is when there are high pitched female voices, they just don't sound right. Midi still has much more charm though. It would a lot of diskspace too, not to mention that it needs to read them for the disk, adding to loading times.
  2. Make that for Wii, include the old MGs too, MGS and TS, IR controls, the interactive novels from PSP and I'm sold. Shit, just the IR controls would be good.
  3. Don't get me wrong, the game could be awesome, I'm not taking conclusions from a demo, it just doesn't feel right at times. And strafing is only when you're not aiming, I don't think it's a big problem. It just feels like RE4, the number of enemies on screen at the same time doesn't even change that dramatically, but the controls and Sheva are cumbersome and the level layout seemed somewhat off. It's like, in RE4 the almost complete absence of terror was placated by being overwhelmed by enemies, here you get overwhelmed, because the controls are clunky most of the times. The weapons being completely weak doesn't help, because you're basically shooting peas at the enemies, running back a few meters, shooting some and whatnot and the AI seems pretty much the same as RE4 too. Anyway, need to play it again.
  4. Not liking the partner either it just makes things more cumbersome. To be honest, that's what the demo felt like: cumbersome. It's becoming more and more an action game (something I'm aware RE4 started) and zero RE, but then again it's just the demo. But the controls, number of enemies and level design together didn't click, it didn't give the rush the encounters in RE4 gave. Also, the enemy animations are terrible, the weapons feel like pea shooter and the blood is horrible. Explosions are amazing though, even with dowgraded graphics from the initial showing the game looks fantastic. And finally you can strafe and change weapons on the fly (real time weapon change!). Also, hurray for uppercuts! I dunno if it's me, but the game got me a bit dizzy after a while cause of the turning, it's like the image drags or something. Maybe it's the framerate. I'll try it with more time though, kinda rushed it a bit and a demo is just a demo. Don't doubt it'll be a great game, but something didn't feel right.
  5. AC isn't exactly the kind of game that can be appreciated by renting me thinks.
  6. Ah man, if it was 4 on the 360 I could finally play the damn game! I doubt it though, it's probably MGO or something. It's 360 no doubt.
  7. I love you Shorty. That's the thing about Bleach, it's not even just the anime, it's the story, they get strong all of the sudden without any logic, I just don't like the way the characters strength evolves.
  8. Aagh I want it, but money's tight! Damn it!
  9. This game is 24.46 in game, I wanna get but it isn't a good time for it. I suppose this price won't last long right?
  10. It does look much better, let's see if the controls make up for less enemies.
  11. Amazing, amazing game. I was an am mostly tired of very classic J-RPGs, yet I still loved this. And I loved how simple levelling the characters was, yet it had some depth to it, as did the apparently simple combat. The scenery in the overworld, together with Toryama's art and the amazing orchestrated soundtrack are probably what made this game to me. It really felt like what J-RPGs are supposed to be. Dragon Quest is an amazing series and I can't wait for IX. Also, the Dragovian Trials are haard!
  12. White Power Bill doesn't want a black Wii.
  13. DQIX wasn't made with the pollux engine so it seems unlikely.
  14. That's just an excuse from bitter unprofessional people when their mag doesn't sell.
  15. Ah man, I don't have my Wii Wheel with me. I've been totally forgetting about the competitions.
  16. I love Super Mario Sunshine, the water still hasn't been rivalled in any game, not only is it gorgeous its interaction with the environment is awesome. Also, it's one of the most fun games there is, it's really a joy to play. I like FLUDD, it makes for a good change of pace and some cool platforming. The special levels are simply brilliant. Problem with the game is the last shines. Coins are very very scarce, so getting 100 is a boring chore and the blue coin hunt also gets pretty bad. Still, an amazing game, that doesn't deserve much of the hate it gets.
  17. Still have some of your videos to watch Red Shell and Mike, haven't been playing much lately :P
  18. Portuguese stores won't get it tomorrow and I don't have the money to buy it yet, so I'm worse off than you guys :P
  19. I don't have one :P
  20. And you can shine your boots too! Pointless, but what the heck!
  21. Love the n-e logo in the maidens:)
  22. Thanks! It was actually my 1st bb drumming outside of the lessons and I only took the first ones :P Did you send your version already? Cause I see my Wii glowing :P
