Definitely getting this, but will buy it in a few months when I've cleared some other games. Great to here it's getting decent reviews! Here's IGN's Video Review...
-
Just thought this pretty incredible.

Probably sexing each other Kristen Stewart style.

These were my two favourite video game cartoons! I felt because of the way video games were much more limited in terms of story back in the day, and just a few text boxes, these cartoons really fleshed out the worlds of Mario and Sonic. You got to know the characters this way (whether accurate or not). Just a lot of fun! They also used to inspire me to draw when I was young, and create scenes based in the Mario world.

Nintendo and Microsoft in light of the PS4 reveal (Th'rip)
Retro_Link replied to Hogge's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Although I think you'd always pay more for the PS4 as it's a Blu-Ray player too etc... So depends what features they both offer. -
I haven't played the original, though I feel like I'd like to with the sequel buzzing around; which looks brilliant! Luigi just shines in these games, Nintendo do such a great job with his personality. PLEASE bring it to the Wii U virtual console Nintendo!!

haha, bit of a blow-up doll face! (um... whatever they look like)

The Limited Edition

Umm because its the purpose of the thread. Everybody talks about bad/wierd adverts, the fuck are you talking about. I'm well aware how marketing works.

I just don't want to know!!! Let alone have a hot girl telling me, and other one saying it as though it's something sexy! The Fuck?!

Nintendo and Microsoft in light of the PS4 reveal (Th'rip)
Retro_Link replied to Hogge's topic in General Gaming Discussion
It's Microsoft's attitude to creating exclusive content that needs to change for them to succeed. They abandoned the 360, like Daft said Gears, Forza and Fable have become tired and people tired of them. Halo is franchise that can sell the 720... but if that's the case it might be off to a slow start because there was only a new one in December. They need to launch the console with new IP. Where as with the PS4 people are still excited for the majority of their exclusives, and importantly they don't give people the chance to, as they keep creating new ones... This year alone the PS3 will have had The Last of Us, The Puppeteer, Beyond, Until Dawn... then Knack on PS4, and there's also been Ni No Kuni as a third party exclusive. Also FLink, the 720 can't necessarily guarantee itself the same leading percentage of Call of Duty sales next gen, as the two consoles will be released closer together at a closer price, with Sony most likely not charging for online, and Microsoft likely doing so. -
I heard something about them wanting to release Destiny on December 31st or something... they don't want to go into next year or something. Seems random. Cube, do To you mean The Witness? Yeah Drive Club seems likely, get the racer there for launch. Be a shame not to have Infamous there, but you're right, it could be in the second wave of games; guess we'll see at E3 how far along it really is.

HEL-LO NEXT GEN!!!!! (If that's what Sucker Punch can do... can you imagine Naughty Dog!!)
-
Should make a tread for this... Timed PS4 exclusive... Visuals look beautiful, carrying on where the likes of Journey and The Unfinished Swan left off on PSN, with a little bit of Wind Waker HD thrown in for good measure. Just the gameplay that needs to impress, as I think we were all left a little unsure watching it's reveal as to whether it was just a series of puzzles or...?

Nintendo and Microsoft in light of the PS4 reveal (Th'rip)
Retro_Link replied to Hogge's topic in General Gaming Discussion
It's was Sony's arrogance over Cell architecture that hurt them with third parties, being late to market, and pricing. They've resolved those issues now, it won't be the same situation again. What games do Microsoft have to sell their console? Their exclusives line-up is currently very weak, which is something they will have to address at their reveal/E3. There won't be any third party exclusives next gen, other than maybe DLC. -
Nintendo and Microsoft in light of the PS4 reveal (Th'rip)

The GT Invisiable Walls panel brought up a good point that I'd somewhat forgotten in that... Sony addressed the fact after the press conference that the PS4 will not require 'Always Online' and the PS4 will not block used games. This is of course the case with Nintendo too... of course both companies would happily be the ones to sidestep Microsoft and let them be the only one's to go ahead with this and take their customers! :p If Microsoft are going to go ahead with both those features, they either have to be worried, or they have to backtrack! -

And I don't even accept his opinion on Pokémon! -
I presume it's for Casey Jones. Actually it could be for Shredder of course.

Bollocks, this game is really making me want a 3DS. Brilliant advert, Luigi seems to have more personality than we've seen from Mario in 20 years, they've done a really good job with his character. Have to wait for more games to build up I think as I can't just buy it for this, but might have to look into getting a Black 3DSXL if they start selling them separately later on in the year.
-
There's a Rollercoaster Tycoon on the 3DS, not sure if it's out yet, or if so what the reviews were like, but could be one to look at.
-
Too early to say for me. Most likely PS4, but possibly Wii U given how it looks in comparison and any difference in features.

Why are we doubting an out of car camera? Surely it's a given!
