  1. Well how did they let that get out though?... someone from Nintendo put that artwork out there. At least if it is DK we could have had a surprise :/ I so hope now that it's anything but DK, or they bring DK and a surprise trailer or something. Otherwise I really don't see why they're bothering turning up. Cringe.
  2. Is this a case of the game telling you things on the gamepad screen when you're not looking at it? or just a case of experimenting with everything?
  3. Hmm, yeah really what else is there to demo?... bit of a shame really. And seeing as it's just Reggie, it seems unlikely to be Mario Kart or even Smash as you'd expect probably a four player demo like the E3 ones they do. I guess now the only hope outside of DKC probably is Yarn Yoshi?
  4. I've massively cleaned up the thread and moved the PS Plus talk to a new discussion thread here: http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53906 Be good to continue it on in there as it felt like quite a healthy discussion to me, but this thread needed refocusing as it's not something everyone can participate in.
  5. I guess maybe it depends when you come to the console. As someone who only bought a PS3 less than 2 years ago, I had a huge amount of games to catch up on, I am therefore behind on games, never buy new releases on release day as I'm constantly playing older games and thus PS Plus is a god send. As @Fused King just said, I hardly need ever buy a game! Likewise if I were to buy a Wii U tomorrow a similar service would already be great value... for me, going forward. However had I had the Wii U since launch, had played all the games I wanted and getting the majority of games on release, it's a different story. I still believe gamer's in that situation are likely still missing out on at least some games, at least third party and indie games, but yes it would be a bit of a stretch. However, say 2-3 years into the Wii U lifespan I think it would then become good value for every Wii U owner. Another factor I think is money. Personally I can't afford right now to buy all games at launch, particularly Nintendo First Party games that don't really ever drop in price. So to pay £30-£40 (the cost of ONE new game) and be able to catch up on all these even if at a later date is extremely good value.
  6. He had a big part in the making of this movie though didn't he, in terms of getting it made and helping on the the story and script?
  7. I'm still gonna go with a new DKC or Mario Kart trailer, but please be something else/new!
  8. Yep I understand that point, but it would all depend what Nintendo did with it. Plus is very much third party games too, so it would no doubt give you a chance to try certain 3rd party games that you wouldn't necessarily play otherwise, be that an Assassin's Creed, Sonic Racing, Zombie U or a Bayonetta (down the line) etc... Also Plus often gives away Indie games, so there's an opportunity there. As well as delving into the First Party and Third Party SNES, N64, Gamecube back catalogue for games.
  9. In Best Handheld Game Animal Crossing New Leaf Pokemon X/Y Tearaway Zelda: ALBW
  10. Which would get your vote?
  11. Oh yeah just see that too back in December 2011.
  12. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light was on Plus in July 2012, so yeah maybe Daft be crazy and thinking of that
  13. Don't think it was Daft?... it only came out in March (so it can't have been ages ago), and I've been with Plus since then. Yeah too early for Puppeteer probably unless Sony spring a Christmas surprise! I'm hoping Rain and Brothers a Tale of Two Sons might show up in the 12 Days of Christmas.
  14. haha, now there's an idea! ;p Yeah there are just a couple of games like Tomb Raider, Puppeteer and the Ratchet and Clank series that I'd just like to see don't show up on Plus first.
  15. When do we here about next months Plus games?... just thinking about Christmas presents.
  16. Great trailer analysis!
  17. The employees have put themselves back together...
  18. If I was to buy a Wii U tomorrow and there were two offers... a) Buy a Wii U console and get free online b) Buy a Wii U console, pay £39.99 (£30 in regular offers) for online... and this months free games were Zombie U, Lego City, Toki Tori 2 and Pilotwings 3DS... I know which offer I'd choose. Plus pays for itself within a few months depending on your taste in games, and then you get games for the rest of the year.
  19. Yeah exactly, and personally I see that as £30 to get all the games they give away, not even thinking about online.
  20. Good, funny episode of The Final Bosman, with plenty of 3DS and Mario 3D World positivity, as well as good laughs over console exclusive content http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1643558&postcount=13 The games they choose are such high quality titles that you can consider not having to buy any games and just wait for them to appear on Plus. We're not talking 3 year old games or something here, it's quite often games appearing only 6 months after launch. Like Assassins Creed 3, Far Cry, Remember Me, Metal Gear Rising, Guacamelee, Need For Speed Most Wanted etc...
  21. Funny episode this one, and plenty of good stuff to say about Nintendo
  22. That's true. It does very much look like Oscorp have designed a bunch of suits ready to step into though, that Doc-Ock suit looks living, the actual feathers on the Vulture suit, the eels. I guess a Spider suit was to be one until Peter got mixed up with that. I suspect Harry will simply choose the Goblin suit instead of there being any real meaning behind it. And I suspect you're right in that is how Venom will come about, another Oscorp suit designed to help save Norman Osborn. Btw, does Spidey ever really leave New York in the comics? are there any stories set abroad? I just wonder if the Spiderman films slightly suffer from always being set in New York, things/set piece all start to get a bit samey. Would be a good reason to see him in The Avengers.
