  1. Bardings, that place looks lovely.
  2. Grazza is definitely right about the milk. We have access to a shitload of milk at school/work, so I have a jug of the stuff every day I'm there. It's a good way to sneak in those calories/protein. The one thing I find about consuming more protein is that my body just feels less sore/more ready for another session than I do without the stuff. I had a pretty decent schedule and diet from about August to beginning of December, but have been hit with a few niggles here and there. Sore wrist, sore shoulder, so haven't been exercising as much. I've not been inside a gym for about a month now, but I feel almost refreshed so will be going back again. I did notice a difference with my body prior to having those niggles. My stomach/chest area in particular looked pretty decent. But, Christmas has turned it all to mooosh again.
  3. That's a pretty great record in any league. However, I think it wouldn't be an entirely great move for him to go straight from League One to the Premiership. That's a 2 division jump, and he's only 21, like you say. There's also no guarantees that he'd get enough games, which would only halt his development. If a Championship team came in with an offer, that's more sensible. Still, you never know. I've just got off the National Express, after dropping Ine off at St Pancras. Sat behind me where these two 19/20 year old girls, doing some sort of quiz game on their phones. Girl 1: "How many times have Spain won the World Cup?" Girl 2: "None..." Girl 1: "Wait...didn't Barcelona win it last year?" I cried.
  4. I was trollin', saw the opportunity and couldn't resist. Although, I do agree with your point/s. Classic Nintendo does have a certain meaning to it.
  5. My butt-crack is clean because I shit rainbows. Whenever you'd like! Although, I won't be there til next month as I've still got my current place. I hope you can raise your kid's development values by then. Also, I hope yours rise, as the values tend to slow down with age. (oooooohhhh!)
  6. I know, I've missed Landon Donavon as much as anyone else.
  7. I thought I'd make a new thread for this because I haven't made one for a while. So, here it is. Ine has been over in the UK for a week or so for Christmas, and we've been looking at houses to rent together. She's made a folder and has been pestering me about houses for some time, so in the end I just took the next random one she asked me about and decided to ask for a viewing for that one. Turns out the place was pretty bluddy nice! Fell in love with it straight away. Also, we had some fun with the estate agent, asking her to try on the shower in our house, as our current one was a bit shitty. The living room. The telly is probably going to go, but we've got our own better one to replace eet. There's a two seater leather sofa to the right of the picture, and a three seater which is where I am sitting. Those are my legs. Le kitchen. Where our food will be made. There is another kitchen unit that is going to go into the gap on the right. Also, fridge is massssive. Shower time! That's the table and chairs/dining area, with a cute little breakfast window that leads into the kitchen. This is one half of our bedroom...the room. Err, that's the other half...the bed. Both make the bedroom! This is the view from outside our flat, right by our front door. There's a gate on the right that will take us to the Upper Gardens, which leads us into central Bournemouth. And this is part of the upper gardens. All to ourselves, mwahaha. We've been back and forth to the estate agents, and the whole thing seems to have gone really, really smoothly. In a somewhat bizarre twist, the agent bares a striking resemblance to our old forum friend Jordan! Are we in some sort of parallel universe...Termina?! So, it's all gone ok, and today we have picked up the keys to our flat. We've been to ikea and have picked up some plates, cutlery and other household stuff, and have been placing it in our place today. It's very surprising how quickly this has moved along. Yet, at the same time, it has been 3 years, so the timing is right.
  8. That's nice of them to do that. You should get the shoulder checked anyway, just as a precaution. Better to be on the safe side, and all that. Moogle: I laughed. Recently re-watched that clip.
  9. Shit, dude. Hope you're alright. I'd like to think that Lylat Wars saved your life there.
  10. How strange that this time it is Mario who is lost. Happy Birthday!
  11. A remake of a classic horror film? What an ingenious idea! I can't believe nobody has done it before.
  12. Happy Birthday J7Wicked! Teh Emoooooooooooooooooo. Next time I play F Zero GX and eat doritos, whilst drinking Cider...I will of that day. Let's not destroy any African statues this time.
  13. I lost 3-2 at home to the Comerade, despite guessing his formation, him not guessing mine, and me setting the right offensive tactic to combat his defensive one. Also played offensively, gave it a go. Some days I guess it just isn't your day.
  14. Yup, we're just as shite in the air as we are on the ground. There's only a few players in our team who are any good in the air: Vidic, Rooney, Hernandez, sometimes Berbatov and sometimes Welbeck. At a push, Smalling and Evans. Which is a big problem when our current play revolves around getting the ball out wide to Valencia, for him to pick someone out. Or, for Nani to try to cut inside and shoot. Our play revolves around going out wide. If somebody defends against Valencia and Nani successfully, we don't score. We can't go through the middle. Watch how many times we get the ball in the middle of the park, and then play it out wide to either Evra or Valencia. This is why I like Anderson and Cleverley, as they're much more direct and will go through the middle.
  15. Serebii, you're breaking my balls here. Online dating shouldn't be seen as a last resort. It's an alternative option. A different way of doing things. In fact, it's perfect in your case because: - You can get the chance to meet somebody you wouldn't have the chance to meet otherwise. If your friends are not going out enough, and this leads to you not meeting people, then this is perfect. You can meet people this way. - You can speak to someone and get to know them in a good amount of detail before you actually decide if you want to meet them or not. - If you find it hard talking to people face to face, this is much easier. - In a club, you don't always get the chance to have a stimulating conversation. You're not always sure what the other person wants or needs. Through this, you can find it out in a much easier way. - It widens your search for people. At a club, you're limited to what is there at that moment in time. You could join several dating sites. At the very least, if you're profile is there, it's in the open, so there's a chance somebody will see it and take a likening to it. If you're sat at home, there's a lesser chance that somebody will notice you...the profile at least puts you out there. - If you find the conversation is not going well with them, you can stop. In a club, this would not be as easy... I don't know how long your dry spell has been going on for. But...surely if your current method is not working for you right now, why would it change tomorrow or next week? It's not working for you, so surely it's time to try something different? At the very least, it will help you to gain some confidence talking to people, albeit from a distance. Maybe after that, you will find it easier to go out there and talk to people.
  16. Just finished the fifth dungeon.
  17. Forgot to say well played tonight, Newcastle. Deserved it in every single way.
  18. Oh aye, we need one alright. Needed one for a good few seasons, but we won't get anyone in January.
  19. Another terrible performance. Right now, I'd have Cabaye and Tiote off Newcastle, in a heartbeat. No leaders out there tonight.
  20. Seriously? Fuck me, Spurs get into the Champions League one season, then they're suddenly full of Supermen. Let's put it into perspective, nobody has given a shit that Huddlestone hasn't been playing, yet there are dozens of Man Utd fans who are constantly depressed that Cleverley and Fletcher are not there. Huddlestone wouldn't even get into the team above Parker or Modric anyway. Players get injured and take knocks in every game for every team. I'll be surprised if any of those face a long lay-off. Are you honestly comparing any of those injuries to what Vidic has, or what Fletcher has, etc? As for defensive injuries, we played Carrick at centre-back and Valencia at right back. Carrick and Jones. Jones, our supposedly fifth choice centre-back, after Vidic, Ferdinand, Evans and Smalling were unavailable. Even then, Jones has been playing most of the season in midfield and Smalling at right-back. And, even then, I wouldn't claim that this is the worst defensive crisis in the league. For a Spurs fan to claim that you have had a defensive problem is a bit of a joke, to be honest.
  21. Geez, Oxygen_Waste. You Portuguese are so pedantic
  22. What don't you understand about that? It's fairly simple...they're all much better players than Tom Huddlestone. Are we seriously debating that? (when you mentioned the players I mentioned, I take it you meant the Spurs players) It's not a very bad injury list anyway because Sandro wouldn't be counted as a first team player, in my opinion. Not first 11. Infact, those players you mentioned are all in that Spurs second 11 you posted earlier up the page. It's like me crying that Darron Gibson is out for the season. (slight exaggeration)
  23. I'm amazed at how Super Mario Sunshine is on there above Galaxy, and that Galaxy is rated much, much lower than 64. However, they redeem themselves by putting Super Mario Bros. 3 on there. Only slightly, mind.
  24. Missing those players is big, but how would Spurs cope with a real injury crisis. Vidic is out for the season, Cleverley, Anderson and Fletcher have been out for long periods of time (Fletcher is most certainly out until the end of the season), Rio has only really just come back, Fabio and Rafael have been out, Owen has been out. That's a crisis, and I don't think Spurs are quite ready to cope with all of that plus compete for the league. It's almost an expected thing for United now to cope with this and still compete (we've had defensive problems like this at this point in the season for at least 2 years running, where even the fourth choices are out injured, hence why Carrick gets played at centre-back and Valencia at right back) They're doing well this season, Spurs. Realistically, they won't have the stamina to keep doing it until the end of the season, unless they get really, really lucky with injuries and scrape through without anything happening to one or two of Modric, Bale, Adebayor, VdV. Also, along the way, teams will understand how to defend against them and will try to frustrate them, the same way they do to United, City, Arsenal, so forth.
  25. Although Spurs have been doing really well, they haven't had any terrible injuries or squad dilemmas yet. Sure, some players have been injured for a short period of time, but they haven't had anything along the lines of a Wilshere/Vidic long layoff. That's the big test for them and that's only really when you can test the squad. Look at Newcastle, their defence was the best in the league for a long period of time. When they started to get some defensive injuries, it turned to shit. If somebody like Bale or Modric faced a 3 month layoff, I could easily see them sliding down the table.
