  1. You referred to me as "the bucket."
  2. This wait is killing me. I'm tempted to freeze myself until midnight tomorrow.
  3. Welcome, Dan! Jay, I'm going for promotion, so I can seek my revenge on you in the Middle League. (Note, the above may not be true) Also, bitches, where's my change report? This is an outrage!
  4. The least he could have done was buy me some popcorn.
  5. I have a friend who lost his virginity in a cinema. Actually, ex-friend since I don't like him anymore. Nice guy.
  6. The first half was pretty good, I thought. Messi should have walked! Also, Barcelona's first totally went against the run of play. Ronaldo was terrible, tonight. Its rare we hear that, but he was way below his usual standard. I don't think he would score even if they were still playing right now. I agree with you about Iniesta. Also, Xavi. The two are just unplayable.
  7. 3 very important points and a decent performance after the trouble in the week. Nothing has been solved yet, and I do still think we need some new faces in midfield. Anyone else watching El Classico? I'm really enjoying it so far! 1-0 to Madrid after 22 seconds. Real Madrid are really closing Barcelona down and not giving them any time on the ball whatsoever.
  8. There you are. Individuality right there.
  9. No, you should wear a tracksuit and posh shoes. You would then be going as the Anti-Goafer.
  10. The Liverpool fans on facebook make me laugh. Always quick to jump in and be the first to laugh, yet they're not in Europe at all this season...I swear they live in some kind of fantasy land. Still say Leeds fans are the worst, but Liverpool come a close second.
  11. Pretty much agree with what Ramar just said. I imagine it'll be used to give some development time to the younger players who need games, or to keep players like Berbatov fresh. Still fuming.
  12. This wasn't our best line up at all. Did you see that midfield? Young should've been dropped as he has been really below form for the last few games. How can anyone justify a midfield that consists of Giggs, Park and Jones? We should've just gone 4-4-2 because Rooney was isolated the whole game.
  13. Disgraceful. Aside from Nani, Rooney and Phil Jones, the whole lot were useless tonight. Our midfield consisted of a young defender, an old winger and a work-horse who's better out wide. Somebody needs to be brought in to sort that midfield out during January because this is poor. We've been awful in Europe. Dire. I don't even believe it'll give the team a kick up the backside either.
  14. My friend posted on facebook that he was listening to Little Lion Man. I thought "woooohooo"...until I saw it was a cover by a band called Tonight Alive. Fucking horrible. It's worth listening to, just to see how covers can be done terribly wrong. I think I'm going to be sick.
  15. I didn't watch the match (not did I want to, smelly Liverpool ), but that picture doesn't put Spearing in a good light. Both feet off the ground, and studs showing. I know it's not good to judge a tackle on one still frame, but judging by that, it's a dangerous tackle. Look at his right foot...could really do some damage. Tackling is fine. But, two footed and off the ground (based on that photo) is dangerous and reckless.
  16. Haha. Feel Good Hit is awesome. Seeing that played live is one of those heavenly music moments. Songs for the Deaf is also brilliant. Not sure which one I prefer really, both are just total brilliance.
  17. I hear you, man. Rated R is brilliant. Feel Good Hit Of The Summer, The Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret and Tension Head are fantastic songs.
  18. I love languages. It's beautiful how the World is made up of so many countries, many with their own individual language. I wish I had more time to properly learn Dutch. There doesn't seem to be time to sit down and learn it properly. If I was 10 years younger, it would be so much easier. Sucks being old. Grumble grumble. Trying to also re-learn Spanish. A kid in school is teaching me, aha. My Dad (mainly) can speak Urdu and Punjabi, but I haven't studied those languages for a long time. It's very true that when you don't use those languages, you gradually lose the ability to use it. Also studied French in school, and Welsh, and I could read Arabic but not translate it well. I do feel bad that English is the only one that I really know well, and even then, I abuse it badly. Baaaadly. Mega-jealous that Ine can speak other languages.
  19. Its going to be very hard for anyone this season. There's too many teams that want to get into the Champions League and not enough places. You have United, City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea + Spurs. I know Newcastle are fairly up there now, but I don't think they have the squad to do it. It's a shame that Everton are not up there. They have the right manager but no money whatsoever. I feel for them.
  20. Oh, that's fine. But, you also have to realise that the better you do, the more that will become expected of you. If Spurs get into the top 4 now and the year after, it'll become the expected thing for them to do, every season from then on. It's a good place to be for you guys right now. But, it's very, very hard to maintain. The biggest issue for you guys is expanding on the squad and keeping the right players. Bale and Modric. You need those two and then you need to keep bringing in players like Van Der Vaart and Adebayor. And Parker! You did a wonderful thing by keeping Modric, and that's when I knew Spurs meant business.
  21. Lets put it into real perspective. Bolton are in big trouble. They've played badly all season, had a tough fixture list to start with and they've got a problem with not scoring enough goals. (plus conceding too many) It also looks like their best centre-half will probably be off to another club sooner rather than later. Its to be expected that Tottenham would beat Bolton at home. Its even more expected now that they would beat them by more than one goal and with a good performance. In all honesty, I don't think Bolton would have got anything from the game anyway. They were already losing when going a man down, but you never know. I like them, I really do, but they are in real trouble. Who knows. Maybe next week, a decision will go against Spurs and cost them a game, and we can all discuss then whether Spurs would have won or not. Its hypothetical. The decision has been made, you just have to roll with it. However hard it is.
  22. Buttt, I would argue that the Spurs team has been on at least a par with the Arsenal team for a season or two already. It's clear that Spurs have a great team and squad already and that Arsenal are trying to rebuild one. Hell, I would say they've been trying to rebuild one since Henry left. Also, sorry to hear about Lucas.
  23. I'm not really interested in following NoE or whatever. But this: This: and this killed me. I couldn't stop laughing. 6 followers. Bwahah.
  24. If I had my way, the tree wouldn't go up until the first week of December. Or, until the first week is done with. My housemates put it up a week ago. Pfft. Looks very pretty, though. I love this time of year.
  25. My name means handsome in Arabic. Fuck yeeeah. (totally not true, though) Edit 2: I mean it does mean handsome, but I am not it. Also, one of my 25 names is Allah and another is Mohammed. Religiously handsome and God-like. I'll take that. Ine's name means baked beans in Arabic. Look it up if you don't believe me. Edit: Shit, I did a Wesley post. Copyright infringement.
