Meh. Our school internet wasn't working today or yesterday and I didn't get time to set tactics or line up as I've been working long hours. (only just got in and have had a shower). No internet in school for the rest of the week. I tried using a friend's phone to set tactics for today but the speed was so slow that I ran out of time and just gave up in the end. Not sure I can be bothered with this anymore. Trying to build a team around youth is so slow and I haven't even had the results to show for it when I have put out decent teams.

You can get great results from it, but there's so many factors you will have to take into consideration. If your calorie surplus is over the top, as in you basically eat very lazily, you can be in danger of just fucking it all up. Also, if you're not particularly lean to begin with, your physique will look a bit shit, tbh. Another name for a dirty bulk is a dreamer bulk, and it's called that for a reason. :p You'll also have to really put the effort in with the weight you're lifting. Your lifts probably will go up, mine did quite significantly when bulking, but I really pushed myself there. For some people, especially those who struggle big time with putting on mass, it does have its place, although be careful with it. It's essential you get your protein and carbs in there.

Had an aweeeeeesome weekend back in Brighton for a good friend's birthday party. We ended up going to a place called The Haunt which actually turned out to be pretty great. The setlist for the night was HNNNNNG. Ghostbusters theme was played, as well as Total Eclipse of the Heart. We ended up getting back to our hotel at around 4. We spent Sunday afternoon shopping, eating a roast dinner and chilling around another friend's house. Great turn-out for both days. I boooought: - A whistling kettle. - The Dark Knight Returns from a comic book store in the Laines. - A teapooot. - Some more incense. - NiGHTS for the Wii for about 3 quid. ...some other things I think I've forgotten. Edit: Just remembered. A little kid's book about space and a jigsaw puzzle...both for school. EXCITING SHIT.

I had just come home from school and I remember turning on the telly in the kitchen to see if I could catch some cartoons or a bit of countdown or something. (dat Vorderman) The news was on virtually every channel and it was only when I stopped flicking through that I realised that this news was serious business. It took about a minute or so for me to actually grasp what was going on, but after that I was glued to the tv for the entire evening. Definitely one of those things that you will never ever forget.

Completely agree with all of that. That's pretty much what I want in the future games, just new ideas and fresh blood basically. Even having a totally different location, it doesn't always have to be Hyrule for starters. Also, God...new enemies. Demise was pretty cool at the end of Skyward Sword, but you only knew him for 5 minutes. There was no character development really for his part and whilst he looked imposing, it would have been better to see more of his work. The storywriting and set-pieces need looking at big time. The last well developed and interesting character for me in a Zelda game was Midna.

I don't mean necessarily emulating the old games, but taking some of the principles from it and rediscovering why they were played so much in the first place. The exploration and story-telling aspects, both of which were heavily criticised in Skyward Sword and, to a lesser extent, in Twilight Princess and partly through Wind Waker. There are definitely problems there that need fixing. Yeah, I agree that changing the structure somewhat is needed, but they already did some of that in Skyward Sword and it, in a way, made it worse. Rather than the game design itself being structured, the overworld was almost fragmented, it was essentially a level select. What I would prefer is that they took ideas from games such as Xenoblade with how to construct a whole world, one that isn't just section slapped together but is more integrated. I'm certain they can add tons of new ideas whilst keeping the overall essence in tact. RE4 did new things and whilst many appreciated it, I still resent it somewhat for moving away from its roots. There's tons of scope within Zelda to do fantastic things, add tons of new things, but still keeping it "Zelda" if that makes sense. It's a balance. Saying that, if I encounter a bow, boomerang and bombs in the first third of a Zelda game again, I'll flip. That sorta thing needs addressing. I dislike in a way how certain items and puzzles keep making re-appearances.

It also brought along changes that haven't fared well for the series. I understand that it has done a lot for the "action" genre, but it verged on abandonment of its survival horror roots. Something that has become more apparent with each additional game in the series. (not entirely RE4's fault, but it was the starting point) Personally, I thought that there were good and bad changes in Skyward Sword. Being able to upgrade your items and weapons was fucking fantastic and we need more of that. More quests, too. That sorta stuff is great and you don't need to change the entire essence of the game to do that. But, the stuff that didn't excite me was to do with the overworld itself. Changing the structure of the game so that you only really visited 3 areas was a poor choice,in my opinion, and one that I hope doesn't stay implemented for the next one. The entire game doesn't need changing, but there are lots of things that need addressing. Basically, I'd say it needs to do the opposite of RE4 and it rather needs to go back to its roots and identify why the series was so good in the first place (taking inspiration from ALTTP, Majora's Mask) and building on that with new and exciting ideas, like the item upgrade and the mechanic of having bosses in the overworld, the dungeons "beginning" in the overworld, etc.

Can't really agree with that "Welbeck being terrible" comment at all. In fact, I'd say he performs pretty well for England. At least he isn't one to hide in the shirt and puts in a great shift every time. Young, on the other hand, does nothing for me. Would happily like to see him offloaded at both club and international level. On paper, he sounds like he should do ok but he just never does the business for me. Cleverley is hit and miss. Either way, not terrible at all. The problem is to do with the tactics and style of play. Not really to do with the players being selected, I'd say that's a little bit lower down on the list. Yes, there could be one or two changes to the team, but the style has been dreadful for about 5 or 6 years, regardless of players. As for Wilshere, he is over-rated by Arsenal fans but he is still a damn good player. The problem with him is that he's made of glass and I cringe every single time I see him go in for a tackle and not get back up immediately. Unfortunately, I can't see shake off the image in my head of him being another Owen Hargreaves type of player, as in he would be first choice every single time when fit, but fitness being the issue.

It looks like two separate box-arts have been spliced into one. No way can it be legit, Nintendo surely wouldn't allow for such shoddy design. Ditch the top half/everything above the logo and keep the bottom part. Then, it might be ok.

For a midfield with that quality, the England game was terrible tonight. Just so utterly boring and clueless. 3 attacking players in Lampard, Gerrard and Wilshere should not result in defensive football. The passing was dreadful, ball retention almost non-existent and there were next to no chances created. Yes, a point away is great, but the style of football leaves a lot to be desired. England have no identity. No soul. It is pretty much like grabbing random players from the top teams and putting them together on a field, rather than a team.

No hate, braaah. We're just trying to save you some monies so that you can spend that shit on games. Get ZombiU, Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3. OR ELSE YOU WILL DIE.
-
Change the essence of what made it great in the first place and then progressively get worse with each passing game?
-
Hit him where it hurts, brah. Play 1-2-7, the bob way. Make sure you play long balls with wing plays and offside traps.
-
Well done for buying it, but ouch at that price. U dun goof'd, brah. You'll probably find it about 50 quid or so cheaper in a week or so.

Lost my match, can't really believe it. I put out a strong team. The only thing I could have done would have been to choose my stronger keeper, but still can't believe I lost it. 7 chances, no goals, offensive, about 48% possession. Meh.

Pretty sure the ASDA deal has passed now. Apparently the Premium is £199 at Waitrose in store. Go for that if you can. There's also a bundle with Lego City Undercover for £239. Bundle isn't out til October, though.

I got mine from ASDA at £199 for the Premium. I hear that there's a Wind Waker bundle, would you be interested in that?

Xenoblade. That is all. I'll post some tunes from there later, but there's so many to choose from. Metroid Prime and Super Metroid have some killer tunes. Twilight Princess. Most under-rated and best soundtrack in any Zelda game, imo. (oh, I went there. Peppers angus for onslaught.)

I had a long play session of this yesterday, with Ine playing on her file in between mine. Taking my sweet time with it, I probably played around 4 hours altogether or so, with a bit of time inbetween spent eating. I've just done operation 4-A. The game is sweeeeeeet. It just keeps delivering. I worry and think the game has peaked and BOOM, it introduces another mechanic or a spin on things. Best game on the Wii U for me.

I play with a controller. Unless it's with Kinect. In which case, I use my body. Anyway, I try and make my games "longer" by only playing them for a short amount of time, worried inside that I'll finish it too quickly. I jump onto other games and never get around to finishing the other ones, or I'll go back to them at a later time and keep jumping back and forth. It's retarded. No more. I'm now going to buy one at a time and I'm going to finish it before I play another one.

We should be grateful that Nintendo even use facebook or realise that it is there. I DON'T HAVE YOUR FRIEND CODE, HOW CAN I ADD YOU ON FACEBOOK?

Aaahahahah. Calling me weak, braaaaah?

I was looking at a bodybuilding forum and somebody there made a thread about some serious weight that they lost. Tons of that shit. But, in his "after" picture, he had all of this excess skin. How demoralising. You lose all of that weight, and you still have that there. You'd need the surgery to cut the excess skin, right?
