  1. Could you maybe have a short fling with her, or is she longer-term material? If she likes you, she probably wouldn't say no to a bit of fun before going back to India.
  2. I cried. So hard. Only just stopped. Dammit, Greg, back the fuck away from the mic.
  3. Happy Birthday, men. Also, happy birthday to R3ap3rG. My favourite guy.
  4. Ah, I see you prefer the Scotland version of football of PES. Where you can only make simple short passes or hoof the ball up field. As opposed to the TOTAL FUTBOL Wii version, inspired by the Netherlands team of the past and Spainish team of the present. You missed out, brah.
  5. You made the right choice in color, brah. I voted blue and black as it reminds me of Nightwing's costume, or one of them, aahha. But, deciding on the colour was like choosing between whether you wanted to contract rabies or scabies. Send it back, brah.
  6. I've not played a better game of football, tbh. A lot of the FIFAs tend to be better graphically, but the precision with the gameplay is far superior with PES Wii. I never feel like I've got the same control when playing on a 360. We should play, but I'll need to get some more practice in first.
  7. Loooool, I've just spend the morning playing PES2011 Wii. Belgium vs. Croatia. Somehow, Belgium are a four star team around that time, think the likes of Kompany and Fellaini boosted their stats.
  8. A good line-up last night. I'm glad to see that Townsend was given a game, we need more exciting players like this getting game time, especially ahead of the likes of Milner and Young who are awful. Only criticism is that there seems to be a lull around the 20-30 minute mark in each of their games. They can't seem to play at a higher tempo consistently through matches. The ball needs to be moved quicker. Also, very happy to see Belgium get through. The videos on the Belgium news sites that Ine reads have been great to watch, proper passion and love for their team. I did think Belgium were going to struggle against Croatia away, as there are one or two players who are a bit under-par for their teams at the moment (Vertonghen, Vermaelen, Fellaini, Benteke injured, Hazard hit and miss), but Lukaku just drove them forward. Chelsea are fucking maniacs for letting him go on loan again. Either that, or insanely clever, knowing that he'll get the game time to be even better for next season.
  9. I haven't been watching it, but knew what you meant immediately. I IMDBed it, just to be sure.

    Hngggggggggggg.

  10. This thread is inspired by Jack Wilshere's comments earlier today regarding Adnan Januzaj, a Belgium born footballer who has parents from Kosovo-Albania and also qualifies for Turkey due to his ancestry. There's a slim possibility that he might be able to play for England one day, although he would have to have not played for another country before 2018, which is unlikely, but still possible. My issue with this is what defines "what you are"? Is it your ancestry and heritage, or where you are born? It's also worth noting that this guy hasn't committed his future to any team yet, including Belgium. ""The only people who should play for England are English people. If I went to Spain and lived there for five years, I'm not going to play for Spain." - this seems to be the comment that has provoked a lot of discussion. I think it's interesting. It's also again worth pointing out that Germany also have the likes of Lukas Podolski, who is Polish born and moved to Germany when he was 2 and represents them, as well as the likes of Mesut Ozil who is a third generation Turkish-German. What are your views on this one?
  11. I've been addicted to this song. I've been listening to it in the car, at home when doing work, when chilling, everything. So beautiful. Dem feels.
  12. I feel happy for you, whilst simultaneously hate your every being. You'll have a great time, brah. Amazing experience. Gutted I couldn't get them today. Didn't get anywhere near.
  13. Holy fuck, we won a game. Away, too!
  14. They're pestering me about sending a receipt for an item which I've sent back already. About 2 weeks ago, probably 3 now.
  15. I'm still plugging away, chipping away the fat one day at a time. I've noticed that I find work quite a bit easier, as in I don't feel as heavy as before when I'm walking about, which I do quite a lot of. I feel light, but still have a bit of substance there, if that makes sense. It's nice. I felt pretty quick when playing squash yesterday, made quite a few shots that seemed out of reach and somehow managed to reset my position to get the one after. Hurrah. Also, fuuuuck, there always seems to be yummy food being brought into school. The kids brought in some doughnuts and cake a few days ago, causing one of the girls to declare it FATTTT FRIIIIDAAAY. Cakes were brought in on Monday and some flapjacks today, too. My willpower is strong. Just.
  16. That trailer was pretty sweet. The game suffers from a sense of duality, though. On the one hand, it looks fun as hell. On the other hand, something about it seems slightly off. To me anyway. I don't know what it is yet.
  17. In Sainsburys the other day, I heard some guy say to his woman whilst looking at Christmas stuff, "oohh, it's only two pay-days til Christmas." Fuck your pay-days, brah.
  18. Are we going to get anything new? Right now, I'll take anything. Anything. *cries as WiiMusicU is announced*
  19. Every time Sean Bean dies in a film/real life, he dies for the sins of all of Sheffield folk.
  20. Y u do dis? Why do people get talking about Christmas in fuuuucking September? I don't get eet. My friend at work is already listening to Christmas songs in the car on the way. Am disgust. I've also got another friend who has been planning her birthday party/costume (it's fancy dress) since July/August. Her birthday is riiight at the end of December. I cri, evrytim.
  21. In fairness, the ground was haaaard, so aside from a little bit of soil on our hands, you hardly got anything on your t-shirts, jeans, clothes, etc.
  22. I've read fuck all, except for somehow zoning in on the part about the sloooot cancelling Wind Waker. You've done alright, brah. More time for liftin'. You're in Sheffield, I imagine the women up there are lovely. Isn't Sean Bean from there? It's where Legends are made.
  23. HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU PIKE. You are the second best Xpert11 manager. After bob. PIKE PIKE PIKE.
  24. @Ramar and @dazzybee, I'll be the un-biased one and choose who I think is the better player. The problem is that you have to take into account form and quality. Siggurdsson and Ramsey are both in great form, for example, but it's hard to decide who is actually the better quality player. Dembele - Arteta (Arteta is class, though. Probably Dembele just...) Sandro - Flamini (Based on current form. Flamini is more important to Arsenal than Sandro is to Spurs at the moment) Paulino - Cazorla (Don't know enough about Paulinho, but I really rate Cazorla) Siggurdsson - Ramsey (based on current form, Ramsey is a beast right now) Holtby - Oxlade-Chamberlain (I really like the look of Holtby) Eriksen - Ozil (A bit unfair to pit these two next to each other, as they've both been very important for their respective teams. In the end, I've gone with Ozil, but had Eriksen been pitted against any other Arsenal player, I'd have gone for him) Townsend - Wilshere (Draw, slightly leaning towards Townsend based on this season, although Wilshere has a shitload of potential) Lennon - Walcott (Draw, as both are very hit and miss) Chadli - Podolski (Draw...although it's a stretch to put Podolski in this category at all) Capoue - Diaby (Capoue looks the better player, don't rate Diaby at all) Lamela - Rosicky (Rosicky can be hit and miss, and I really like what I've seen of Lamela) So, there we have it. Basically, not a great deal in it between the two teams. Both teams have their standout players (Eriksen for Spurs, Ozil for Arsenal) as well as players with excellent potential (Townsend and Sandro for Spurs, Wilshere and OxCham for Arsenal) Either way, all of these players are absolute dross compared to the superior midfield pairing of Giggs and Jones. Throw in Anderson as part of a midfield three and the title is coming back to Old Trafford.
  25. You're right. United have the best midfield in the league. Giggs and Jones in the centre would boss any midfield out there. Giggs and Jones.
