So...I got a phone call from the lovely people at Flubit today. Yup, they want that second free controller back.
-
What some gamers wanted: - A Nintendo 3DS with a second slide-pad built in. What gamers got: - The Nintendo 2DS. It's the ugliest thing I've ever seen, and I have family from Wales.
-
It's a great game. See the liiiight. @Hero\-of\-Time loves it and he didn't like it at first. I'm sure even @/ nando/ will love this and he hates everything.
-
If I had any more feeling, I would be cumming day and night.
-
I'm circumcised and use no lube evaaaaar. I regret nothing. I must be the chosen one as I have a good amount of feeling there.
-
Same. It's fine if I'm running in a sport or something, but I just can't do it otherwise. No idea what to suggest about your problem, sorry. Could it be you're not drinking enough water? Or maybe it's to do with your breathing?
-
What's this about 'Mericans needing lube or their obsession with it? I've never heard of this.
-
It's all about Pocket Watches, brah.
-
It does get ridiculous. In this instance, he was the best player on the pitch, but he has still had plenty of better games and performances. Sometimes I wish they/the English media would just stop over-rating him. I wonder if the Italians and the Spanish do it for their players.
-
I'm sure it was in iPlayer last year, but I can't be certain. I'll be watching the Arsenal match tonight, seeing as it's on ITV. Andy Townsend will probably be on though...eurgh.

You could argue that there's a bit of passion in there, too. Yes, it's "only a film" and we shouldn't get worked up about such things. But, the way I see it, people deep down want these films to succeed and turn out good. Better than they, they want it to be Earth shatteringly good. So, seeing an actor that you don't necessarily agree with appearing in a leading role could perhaps be a hindrance to that. Or, at least, they see it that way. Perhaps it's the wrong way to be these days, I agree that there's too much cynicism in society. Actors don't just get chosen out of a hat, so there must be some logical reason for Affleck to be cast in this role. The directors and other higher-ups must have seen something that they liked and Affleck must believe that it can work, given how great Man of Steel turned out and his previous views that he would "never wear a costume again". So...in a way, you could say that it makes me even more curious, excited even, to see how it turns out.

Yeah, I kinda get what you mean, @Daft. Anyway, I'm over my initial "bleehhh" and am rooting for this. They're not going to change their mind and although this isn't really the film that I wanted, this is the one we're getting. Superman vs. Batman is better than No Superman At Allllll. (Unless it turns out like Returns, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it) I want to be leaf.

Just fired up my SNES after 15 years...

All through growing up, my Mum was telling me to collect EVERYTHING. "Oh, it'll be worth something one day." Dammit, Mum. -

I don't have the heart to sell my old consoles, especially the SNES. If I do have offspring/clones/cats in the future, I want to show them the stuff I grew up with. Plus, that controller is still great. My dream would be to have an arcade room in the house where you could connect up all of the consoles to either one TV or their own separate screens. Just going in there to play something like A Link To The Past without having to faff with wires and so on. Go in, insert game, turn on, play, win. -
It's the best time to buy the console. You've got Pikmin 3 out now, this, Rayman is out soon, the likes of ZombiU and Sonic All Stars Racing are cheap. The line-up 'til the end of the year is getting better and better. If you can get it for around £200 or even £220-£240 with another game (that isn't Nintendoland, something in addition to that) you'll be happy. I bought mine at £199 from ASDA when they had a deal and built up a collection of games really quickly and cheaply.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuarrrrk! I DESTROYED Winston Gardens. 5-1. I was expecting a draw or potentially a narrow loss. The team really played well. Dat midfield. Ernesto, Daan, Graciano, Par-Ola, Huberto when he came on...best midfield in DRAGOOOOO's history. That attacking line-up, too. If the DVs are good this year, I could have an amazing team in about 4 or 5 seasons's time. The youth coming through are playing really well, too.

Go for the one you're more likely to do. No point buying things if you're not going to use them. Get the rowing machine and see how that goes. It might get you more motivated and you might decide to start buying things after that. I don't think they take up a tremendous amount of space either, so you should be able to get by with it.

Weight is fine, I get that. Height doesn't mean an awful lot to me, though. *insert short joke, huhuhuhu* I hate how the UK is split in half. Half of the country uses metric and the other half uses imperial. To make matters worse, all the speed signs are in bluddy imperial. We're neither. When I tell somebody I've lost 4 kilos or I've gained 5 kilos, they don't have a clue what I'm on about. "What's that in stone?" Fuckofffffffffffff.
-
Get yourself a rowing machine if you think you'll use it. You can go running outside if you want to supplement it. If you really, really want to push the boat out, you could buy a barbell/some dumbbells. They won't take up a great deal of room and it'll just further your options. Supplement that with body weight exercises such as push-ups/press-ups, bodyweight squats, and pull-ups/chin-ups if you can. You could even get a cheap pull-up bar. Had my Pull Day today and did some home cardio. Ine has taken the skipping rope and we won't be playing squash this week, as she is not here. *gets out the hula hoop* @Ville, dat imperial system. I've converted to kilos now. Everything has to be in grams and kilos. I couldn't tell you what my weight is in stone or pounds.

Mourinho taking a leaf out of the AC Elites school of football there. Only he could manage to play defensive football in a team which had Schurrle, Oscar, Hazard, Lampard, Ramires and De Bruyne on the pitch, with Torres, Lukaku and Mata on the bench. Killed the game. As for us: Kagawa must have covered the changing rooms in baked beans or slept with the Chief Exec's wife and/or daughter. That's the only reason I can think of why he's not getting game time. Rooney was brilliant tonight, though.

Let's end this here, otherwise we'll just end up in circles. From the gist of it, what people seem to be saying is that the points that Zechs has been making are mostly fine, but the issue seems to be with the tone. Yes, people need help, but there's also room for politeness and humanity. That will be the end of it. Let's move on because it'll just get boring as fuck. I can't see anything else that needs to be added. Zechs has outlined the reasons why he worded his post in that way, Sheikah has replied with how there's also room for politeness. Time to move on.
-
I would agree with that, perhaps it's not the best tone to use when trying to talk about something so sensitive. Different people react in different ways and I think it's to Animal's credit that he didn't reply with a verbal tirade or a rant back. But then, I can also agree somewhat with Zech's outlook on it. Not enough people are doing things about their weight. But, in this case, I believe he's directing it at the wrong two people, who actually are working hard to do something about it. Yeah, it can appear that way. It depends on the person on the receiving end and "how" they take those words. Some will get insulted and reply with a simple "fuck off" but, like I said, it's to Animal's credit that he replied with an informed post, which Zechs then replied back and thanked. So, I think Animal understands the angle that Zechs was going for.
-
Whilst some of what Zechs is saying is a bit hard to hear due to the tone, he does have some merit in his argument. It's not an all-out attack on Animal or Raining, and I think that's just his way of motivating...whether we agree with it or not. Nevertheless, I feel that he is preaching to the choir a little bit here. Raining and Animal are regular posters in the fitness thread/s and are trying hard to get themselves in shape. Which is something that Zechs has already acknowledged with his thanks and reply. Let's leave the harsh words for Cubed3 and shit like that. We're better than that.
