I'm not worried at all. I'm in it almost purely for the story/narrative, I was just curious how long it would be from start to end as I don't know an awful lot about it. Awesome. I'm interested in the soundtrack for this game. I'm hoping that many games from here on in will continue to use big name musicians/composers to creates the scores for games. Imagine Clint Mansell doing it, for example. Or John Murphy. Or even somebody like Mogwai or Moby. Fuck, there's so much potential for greatness there.

Seems very interesting. Will be great for me as I am one of the gamers that he mentioned there (someone who skipped the PS3 generation...and PS1 and PS2, come to think of it) Subscription service will probably be the key for this. Make it similar to LoveFilm and I'm in.

Actually, get the Chelsea owner to buy Southampton (probably really cheap now) and loan all the players from the Chelsea first eleven/first team contenders and put them there.

It's a good alternative for some games. For example, being able to still play a game whilst watching Match of the Day is cool. Although, I don't use the off-tv much because I need a bigger screen to look at. Using the small screen for Arkham City was a nightmare. It was difficult to navigate between buildings and to make out certain details. I actually reversed the off-tv play. I ended up watching Match of the Day on a smaller screen, my laptop screen, and kept playing on the telly. Worked about a billion times better.

What the fuck? How has he managed that? How long roughly is this game, btw? I'm 'mirin the dedication. He's finished the game before its release date, ahaha.

FEZ looks nice, I'm looking forward to giving that a go. Still unsure about Road Not Taken, have no idea what that game entails. Still, surprises are nice. I still haven't even touched this month's games yet. Dammit.

Reasons to buy a Wii U: - You like platformers. (New Super Mario U and Luigi U, Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong, Rayman) - Virtual console - Smash Bros. soon. - You have very little else to spend your money on. - You don't mind skipping the vast majority of big third party games. - Mario Kart, Pikmin, Wonderful 101 and ZombiU. - Zelda, eventually. - X, eventually. - Maybe, just maybe, there will be a Metroid game announced at some point. - Same as above for F Zero. - Off-tv play. Reasons not to buy a Wii U: - You will be missing out on big third party releases. - Support for the system is dying. Maybe Nintendo's own games don't do it for you. In which case, you'll struggle to build up a library over the next few years. - Nintendo's own releases are few and far between. - No news on a new Metroid, F Zero, etc. In fact, beyond this year, there's very little announced for the system. - It's expensive for what it is (unless you manage to find a really, really good deal online or you don't mind paying over the odds for it) - No multimedia capabilities. I just updated my PS4 and can now play 3D Blu Rays on it. I still can't play DVDs on my Nintendo system. - GamePad is useless for most games, except if you want to use off-tv play.

Lukaku, a diva? Come on. What's wrong with a striker coming to a club and wanting to be first choice ahead of the likes of Torres, Demba Ba and an ageing Samuel Eto'o last season. He's done the business at West Brom, Everton and Anderlecht. Well within his rights to be the first choice striker. In fact, wouldn't we/Jose be criticising Lukaku if he didn't want to be the first choice striker? Who wants to go to a club and sit on the bench? I respect Lukaku for not being satisfied with just being a bench warmer, like players such as Scott Sinclair or Jack Rodwell. Blatantly it's to do with FFP. Plus, Everton came in with a big offer and so Chelsea took it. It's just the latest in a long line of young players who go to Chelsea and don't get the football that they need though. There's still the likes of Van Ginkel, Marco Marin, Romeu, Josh McEachran, Victor Moses, Bertrand, Lucas Piazon and Matic when he was there the first time; plus players who have left like De Bruyne and Daniel Sturridge. Unless you're already a well established player like Fabregas, why would you go there?

I'm a bit annoyed because Chelsea did the same thing with De Bruyne. I find it even more bizarre that Torres is STILL being given chances, yet Lukaku couldn't get a look in. It's even stranger when you realise that Drogba has come back, Torres is still there and Lukaku has now gone. Something isn't quite right there, in my opinion. A bit of a kick in the teeth to a player who has come to England at a young age and scored goals for West Brom and Everton.

So, Everton stumped up the cash and paid £28 million for Lukaku. It's strange, everywhere else was reporting around £23.5 million, so not sure where that final price came from. Hefty. But, he'll get them goals and he's only going to get better. I'm glad he's actually at a team that will give him football.

I'd actually love a game without the Master Sword, especially if they're going to do something with this "upgrade your weapons" lark. If they nerfed the Master Sword and made it less powerful, it wouldn't be the "Master" Sword anymore. But, simultaneously, making it the most powerful sword/weapon negates all of the other weapons/collectibles. I'd drop the sword. In fact, does it even need to be Hyrule? Do we even need a character like Ganondorf? Go right back to the basic principles of what the series is about and start over from there. The themes and style will be eternal, they'll carry through. Exploration, danger, adventure, etc. In fact, Majora's Mask did each of these things and it's claimed by many to be their favourite Zelda. Not really because it's a sequel to Ocarina, but because it dared to be different.

I feel your pain, @are1981. It's not really about "what" you have lost, but what it symbolises, I guess. You put tons of time into something, so losing that is the real kicker. It's not really all that different to losing a game save file. I had that happen to me on Melee and had to restart from scratch (which I did, because I fucking LOVED that game). But yeah, it's an effort to get all that back.

Both of these ideas are great. They're different, they're keeping the same sorts of themes from the past games, whilst also taking it in a new and interesting direction. I love it. Would love to have something like this. The blessing with this series is that (really) one game doesn't necessarily have to impact the next. It's not stuck to a rigid system where Nintendo then HAVE to plan the next two or three games based on the events from this one. They have tons of freedom here.

That makes two of us. Excited! I'm a bit torn about what to do. There's a good chance that it'll get here Friday, but I'm going to Wales on Saturday to Sunday night to visit my Mum. Not sure whether to start it on Friday (plus Ine is at home, so she can see the story stuff with me) or start on the Monday. Either way, I know very, very little about this game. Set body to ready.

I know nothing about either. So, it's likely that this will be the same for us then, except with 'Arry Potter for Vita instead of what they had?

@Wii is probably right with this one. It does seem unusual. Quite rare as well because I'm sure that Nintendo's customer service is meant to be good. Still, three weeks isn't great. You might want to raise it with them once you get it back...eventually.

Just booted up my PS4 and got told that there was a new system update. Details from here. Playback of Blu-ray 3D™ is now supported. Sound quality has been improved during 1.5x playback with Blu-ray Disc™ and DVD videos. System messages previously displayed on the top-right corner of the screen are now displayed on the top-left corner of the screen. [Featured Content] has been added to (Settings) > [system] > [Automatic Downloads and Uploads]. When this setting is enabled, featured content from the PlayStation®Store is automatically downloaded while the PS4™ system is either powered on or in standby mode. To download while in standby mode, go to (Settings) > [Power Save Settings] > [set Functions Available in Standby Mode], and then turn on [Connect to the Internet]. 3D Blu ray! Yeees. Edit: I've just downloaded the update and tested it with Man of Steel 3D. Plays like a dream. I ended up just watching the Flight scene and the final fight against Zod. Both look stunning. Forgotten how good that final fight was, it's filmed really well. Had tingles.
