Not gonna lie, that does look pretty fucking incredible. Didn't know about the 32v32 mode. The problem I have is that Destiny is out in a month, Hardline is out soon and I bet that they announce BF5 next year, too. You can pick it up on ebay for 25 quid... Speaking of Battlefield, I've never played one before. However, I was going to get Hardline before that was delayed because it looks the business. The team work needed for that and Evolve look astounding.

If you make a new NNID, what exactly do you get to keep and what do you lose? If the console has been formatted, then surely he'll lose everything once he makes that new NNID? I wouldn't do any of that until Nintendo gets back to him first.

That really makes no sense. The worst case scenario would be them asking to see the console again, in which case you'd have to send it back. Best case is that they need to just flick some kind of switch at their end and everything works like magic. No idea what else to suggest except wait for them to call back. You could call back later today and see what's up, but that might piss you off even further if they don't know and they might get a bit funny about that. Definitely call them tomorrow. Sorry, brah.

My FIFA team is usually Manchester United (obviously). However, I have had great success over the years by going AC Milan, who always seem to be very solid in the middle and hard to beat. Spurs are good, especially when they had Bale. You could just run through teams. I did also like going Borussia Dortmund a few years back, but...they've sold off like half their team now, so they won't be as fun to play as any more. It's going to be great. I was really tempted to go digital with this because it's the type of game that you want on the system ready, for a quick 10-15 minutes.

My initial thought when you posted was that the console you got back was not the same console that you sent. Are there any markings or whatnot on the system (like a specific scratch or something) so that you are certain the console is the same one you sent? (the only time ever when a scuff can be useful) It's either that or you're locked out, which should mean they can sort it out at their end...or rather, that they should have done this already. Sorry to hear this, brah. Technology is a royal pain in the arse sometimes.

I'm really excited about it. I played the demo for the current game on the PS4 and it really plays well. It's just going to be great. I take it you'll be Bayern MUNCHKIN? You should be able to just get chat audio through the headset. Toggling the option alternates between the two. Maybe try it with the headset that comes with the system, just to see if that one works. Unless there's some sort of switch on the WiiU headset? I heard about that this morning and let out a little squeee. I've wanted this option for so, so long. It's going to make playing against Premier League opponents more realistic. Just...so much yes. If we play an N-E club, bagsy either the Makelele role (defensive mid) or central defence.

A StreetPass App sounds like a great idea! Not everyone takes their 3DS with them everywhere, but the vast majority will have their phone with them. Such a good idea. eShop should definitely have an App. It would be cool if there were more regular promotions, it would encourage people to check there daily. A WiiU App in general where you can see who is online right there and then and what people have been playing that day. I think there's a MiiVerse App already? What does that do?

Might be worth trying this. Hold down the PS button and go to Adjust Devices. There should be an option there to signal where you want the audio to come from. I think the default is that chat audio comes from the headset and game audio come from tv, but you can also set all audio to come through the headset from there. Have no idea how you managed to get chat audio coming through the TV! I'm impressed with that, haha. As for online, I've been online quite a lot actually with Watch Dogs, but the online modes in that are...different of course. It's very much ingrained into the game. E.g, I had someone tailing me and I'm not even sure if I was aware of it at the time. However, I've been online with the more traditional modes such as online race and decryption and that was a blast. As soon as FIFA gets here, I'm going online with that. As soon as Destiny gets here, tons of people will be online with that. And, as soon as Drive Club gets here, the same really. In fact, I want to get a FIFA league up and running for those of us playing it. Can't wait. @drahkon will obviously be playing online with myself.

I'm almost at the end of Watch Dogs, so I'll finish that and get right on with Assassin's Creed. It will get played. It better be worth the hype!

I would join, but I'm still slugging away on the story mode/single player. I hope it does change because the reason I got the console (partly) was to play more online games. I think it will. There's more and more people on here picking up a PS4, so it'll get better. BELIEVE. :p

Out of curiosity, when did you fall out of love with the GC era? Was it right from the beginning or towards the middle/end? Imo, it started off really, really well and had a great first year or two. It stagnated after it certain point and Nintendo couldn't keep it going. There was the odd release here and there (RE4) which kept it going. As for the PS4 bit, it'll get better as more games come for the system. The beginning of a generation is always a bit slow. It happened the opposite way around for the Cube almost, it was perhaps stronger at the start than the middle/End. I fear that this will happen to the WiiU, there's been some great titles already (Pikmin, W101, ZombiU) but I can't see that maintaining. It is a fascinating time, and I do think it's more and more likely that we'll have some sort of hybrid console. I don't really know how I feel about that as I'm not really a fan of handheld games. For me, the problem is that we're relying on Nintendo to sort out a multitude of problems at once and they're quite inconsistent with that. There's quite a lot that needs to change before the next system. But, Nintendo surprise us in lots of ways, so maybe we can expect to be pleasantly surprised in this regard in future. I live in hope.

Got too many games now, brah. I haven't even touched Assassin's Creed yet. Can't get anywhere near it. The Last of Us in the evening, Watch Dogs in the day if I have time and Ine is playing Strider now. We've got Transistor now, so she'll be on that when she finishes Strider, in which case I'll finish off my other stuff and then go for Assassin's Creed and probably FEZ. Basically, I somehow have too many games already.

The right game needs to hit. I imagine if something like Killzone hit PS+, more people would go online as they'd then have the game. I think everyone is waiting for Destiny/Drive Club, tbh. Can't exactly blame them. Although, I have been tempted to go for Killzone, but that would purely be for multiplayer. Think Destiny will be your best bet, brah.
