  2. Its all the same guy!
  3. I've got HD215's and they are superb sennheiser are quality when it comes to cans
  4. Emasher uses wikipedia. It was effective!! (i had to say it sry )
  5. A wee bit of advice, try to be as tight as possible with using electricity and heating.. We've made changes in our house.. like not using the tumble dryer. And we use a thermos flask instead of reboiling the kettle over and over for tea. (£30 saved over a quarter!) And try to preserve as much money as you can for emergencies. Good luck! I did try to consider moving out a year or so ago, but it was working out wayyy too expensive. Now I earn a bit more, I'm in the process of considering a mortgage, which involves saving my ass off for a deposit.. It's a lot harder and more expensive to live somewhere by yourself
  6. hahaha brilliant! Nice find!
  7. Theres only 50ish calories in a pub measure of vodka! Just depends how liberal you are with a "measure" at home -- I'm not fond of champagne. Much prefer cheap fizzy wine - 2litres for like 5 pound. Classy! I've had weightwatchers wine a lot (being a serial dieter) - the fizzy white stuff is pretty nom. If I wasn't caring for calories too much I'd be on kopparberg fruit/pear/apple cider... usually a bottle of each =P I have had the iron bru WKDs in the past but I'm not a big fan because they usually leave me very dehydrated and very very hungover for so little alcohol. Sadly (or is it?) I'm not a big drinker because of my medication. My liver has already been damaged.. thankfully not permanently (as your liver can recover minor difficulties). There is a positive to not drinking a lot - you can get merry quite easily. I like being merry as opposed to drunk.
  8. you used...food dye...to dye clothes? o___O Go to a dressmakers!!
  9. I'd like to think women could anyway, seeing as they were tied to the kitchen in those days
  10. I think there was like 100 versions filmed though :P Takes some serious dedication to do it all without stopping! They did the same with the treadmill video - I think it took 18 tries! I freakin love Ok Go.
  11. so chrome has support now? Its the biggest pile of shit which just slows down my temperamental internet >_>
  12. I really love scampi fries (made by the same company that made those bacon fries)
  13. Not really... Some people work nights, or have different circumstances. Its the quantity and frequency that decides dependency, not the time of day. I, personally, would consider anything before 6pm to be a bit early drink wise. But then you have Christmas - I'm up at 8am having alcohol before breakfast. But it's one single day in the year.
  14. well you know, I've posted about different stuff before and been ignored, but I don't take it personally It's not an anime forum, so is there REALLY a need for threads for every anime? An individual thread is likely to get less attention because people aren't even going to go into the thread. I like the anime thread, I do check out anime suggestions even if I don't always reply.
  15. Exactly - most of the current watchers only need to post once a week - very like the comic thread I can imagine. Well wolfy I would never ignore you my dear =P I can see where you are coming from, but I just can't see it working with seperate threads.. You'd end up recreating the thread every time a discussion-worthy episode came up
  16. Yeah, i'm in the process of being diagnosed and have a sigmoidoscopy booked for next month. Thanks for the linkage!
  17. I'm surprised no one has brought up ice cream! Baileys haagen dazs.. om nom
  18. They so are, I'd love to see different flavours! All I can ever find is the T-bone. (even if they are lovely)
  19. I appreciate your comments.... before I say this I don't want to sound overly defensive or like I'm getting at you. I know what my BMI is (39) I know I'm overweight. I don't have sleep apnoea, I rarely have any issues sleeping - only on the days where I've had several of the mentioned episodes during the day or when I'm having cluster headaches, bowel problems, or... arthritis. I AM turning things around. I'm going to the gym 5x a week, have been for about 2 months. My diet is a lot better than it was. It's hard to get a happy diet when your bowel rejects a lot of healthy cereals, breads, n suchlike. I don't think BMI is a neccesarily an accurate method of calculation. I am tall, and my entire family have a very dense bone structure - my mother was 14 stone when she was running 20 miles every day. The thing is... your friend is pretty normal apart from the weight? I've got a LOT of health issues which are completely irrelevant to weight. I have arthritis.. more severely in the joints which aren't weight bearing. I am on anti-metabolites, immunosuppressants, antihistamines and drugs used for cancer therapy. It's not all entirely clear cut in my case.
  20. Hello random internet dude :P I think it could be anxiety related, at least partially. I'm not a stupid person as this dr seems to think, I know the difference between tiredness from being overweight, or doing too much. These episodes come on like the snap of my fingers, completely out of the blue. One minute I'm fine, the next i'm clumsy/exhausted/unable to think/unable to move. I just don't get it. Don't get me wrong, I think losing weight would help to a point, but its not a "click fingers and its gone" situation.. and I needed support and advice not just told to lose weight, and take plenty of caffeinne With regards to other medical illnesses, i've got a few. I've got a big history of immune disease (Psoriasis, Psoriatic arthritis, and bowel disease), which is why I was concerned about ruling out something like Myesthenia Gravis which is strongly linked and following a lot of my symptoms.
  21. I fear people can't see past the fact that I'm overweight. Went to the neurology appointment today. What a pointless waste of time. Apparently the fact that i'm having severe episodes of panic-attack like exhaustion, migraines, hallucinations, double vision, inability to focus, and general fatigue, including difficulty with breathing... is because I'm fat..? And then suggested...caffeine. What doctor in their right mind suggests caffeine to someone with hallucinations and panic attacks.. I'm just astonished. I'm so close to heading towards a mental breakdown without him writing me off as ... useless.
  22. I don't like the idea of jam/fruity stuffs and chocolate... same for Turkish delight.. Just tastes...wrong.. to me! Sorry! :P
  23. I'm with grunchy, they are soooo yum. I'm not fussy in terms of junk food, except for jaffa cakes. I just don't get the love for them... Ick.
  24. You guys are making me huuunggggggggggryyyyyyyyy god damn eeeet >_< (has a love for all things HOT and spicy)
