yaaay my 8mm stretch (done yesterday) is not hurting at all.. wooo. That really is the best thing about my day... pretty sad :P

I don't like any of those instant rices... something in them just turns my stomach... freshly made rice with freshly fried egg in it is delish. And so not difficult to make.. oh yes and don't forget, a lot cheaper if you buy the ingredients in bulk.

lulwat? Not everything cooked in a microwave is instantly unhealthy, nor oven stuff healthy. Oven meals are designed to last, therefore filled with preservatives. Also bulked out with filler. But they aren't the only thing you can cook in a microwave.

How did you find out that santa wasn't real?

doctors published guidelines - under 18 is critically underweight, sounds like you fall under that if its enough for your doc to say. But yeah healthy fats, eating regularly (try eating 4 or 5 smaller meals a day if you struggle with a big meal) and gradually increasing your meal size. Make sure you account for and eat more on your exercise days. Watch you don't overdo the exercise as well. your wrists are mostly bone and tendons so you cant really bulk them up at all.. if you get a tiny bit of extra fat it may make them look slightly bigger. If you like unhealthy food don't be frightened to treat yourself every now and then.. -- I'm still at the gym and i'm really improving a whole lot. Physically I don't see a lot of difference, except for my arms, they are far more toned than they ever were...yay! A lot of the "change" is mentally and inside. I feel stronger than I ever was and more able. Although with winter coming its very hard to motivate myself.. my bones feel as brittle as hell when it gets this cold! My personal trainer is brilliant and i'm doing hardcore kettlebell sessions! So bad I was nearly throwing up all over the place. XD I'm going to take up skipping for some cardio that I can do at home when the weather starts to pick up. I'm not very interested in walking because it all gets very samey. I've tried the protein shakes, they are completely gross. Try mixing them with milk rather than water (then its extra calcium for you too) or a plain (low fat?) yoghurt. I'm trying to find different, more tolerable ways to eat/drink it... I'm on the banana one at the moment, and its nice if you like banana yoghurt (like the banana crunch corner)

I second all of these points. Especially the division thing... There are certain people who only go in Tech, and in the playground. We don't need more separation. We will end up with less talk in Gen. I thought the idea of the previous update was to encourage more threads/discussion.. Well I've noticed now the "dust has settled" so to speak, that gen is a bit quieter again. I dunno if it would be a good idea to go diving things up more because we'll be left with little in Gen. To me a subforum is just the same as having a general topic thread. Pushing everything away into another box no-one will look at.

I could see it going the same way as playground... ie lots of people going into it for a while, then it being ignored by most when the novelty wears off

This is a very good theory, the money for rent etc should go straight to the renter, and the rest of stuff like food and petrol should be provided via vouchers. Its like going back to the war with rations :P Benefits isn't something one should want to be on. and imo (maybe a harsh one) but once a child is of school age the mother should receive less money so they have to go back to work if they want to live the way they've become accustomed to.

I got home from work/gym today and got my mail. o2 sent me a free bar of (fairtrade) chocolate! Wooo. I was also at the gym enjoying the burn. Eeet ees gooooood.

Agreed, I can imagine it being a pretty awful aspect of your job, and its not your fault people are chancers or look young! I agree, if there is a set protocol.. Once it has passed that, and is proven to be checked properly, then the liability should stand with the customer. But the problem is it's not that way...the liability is nearly always on the seller. I'm never really offended when I'm asked for ID because its just a neccesary part of our society.. just a shame that so few shops follow it! I went to buy booze not even a year ago (i'm 24) and got asked for ID after the transaction was made... Kinda stood there in a stunned silence.. haha.

I can see Grazza's point about a sex change being something very serious, but you do know that no doctor in their right mind will ever even consider surgery as a first treatment? These folks have to go through years of hormone treatment and counselling before they are even considered for a sex change op...

I went to the gym today, had a personal trainer session. Was so intense I nearly boked all over the place and actually had to stop. >_< It sounds bad but I'm pretty sure the 914 calories burned is a positive thing And also I got onto the forum and its all lovely and fast. Yay!

You might find that the noise is coming from some fans that need replaced. To me that system seems pretty good and would be an awful waste to upgrade for the sake of a few fans or a new graphics card..

I've had the waking up crying thing... and waking up with that feeling like you have been crying - face feels a bit...red and swollen. It's really odd ._.

no no, they HAD wasted their time... :P You find the people that take the time to train themselves and learn technologies in their own time are the best people for the job.. I'm sure you know yourself that I.T in particular is an ever evolving industry... You have to be dedicated enough to keep learning, relearning and learning again. People who think a degree is the solution, and that they need learn no more... well they got into the wrong industry. My dad has book after book after book on windows server maintenance.. Every time they update/change a process or bring on a new contract, that's just more studying and learning for him... And this is a guy that's been working in the industry for 20 years. A degree isn't an automatic entitlement to a job, sadly. (which a lot of people will assume and be sadly mistaken when they leave uni... oh what a shame )

Northern Ireland is a bit of a disgrace when it comes to national pride... We've got enough "national pride" that people feel the need to bomb whoever disagree with their narrowminded views.
