To be honest for every example of an extreme mac fanatic, there are plenty of extreme mac haters who's hatred is often more unjustified as they usually haven't spent any decent amount of time with an OSX machine. Having a quick go on a friend's or at an apple store doesn't really count as it's a whole new operating system and thus there's a learning curve to properly get to grips with it. Yes, Apple machines are generally overpriced but they are also damn well built and the OS is way more stable, probably largely due to the simple fact that there are no unknown parameters when it comes to components. With PCs there are so many different graphics cards and motherboards etc... and the almost limitless combinations of components don't always work well together due to there being so many unknown factors. Specs on paper don't always equal a machine that works as well as it should. So yeah I wish the endless spec/pricing comparisons would stop because everybody already knows that on paper Apple machines are overpriced. It's almost a redundant argument anyway because you don't buy an Apple machine because it's the best specced out there for the price. You buy it to use OSX. I've been a devout Windows user who hated macs from a few tries of older versions of the OS at school and such but OSX is really just stunning. After getting to grips with it properly it'd seriously take me a lot to go back to Windows. I also swear Nintendohnut must have meant to say "wouldn't shoot myself instead of getting a Windows machine" because 'would' really doesn't make sense with what comes after.

How far are you in overall? It's one of those comedies that gets better and better further on in the series. Also improves with repeat viewings as there are so many subtle gags everywhere that you completely miss. I wouldn't say some of the things you've listed are meant to be main jokes, more just character traits. The latest Flashforward ep was great. Really glad I got back into it. I hope it doesn't end up getting renewed though, it really is a one season concept.

I can't drink as I have to drive back. Lame. Hate living in the middle of nowhere, miles away from anywhere. Hopefully I can guilt somebody into letting me crash at theirs. Thisss... So much. I find a lot of pilots of my favourite shows tend to be a little 'dodgy'. Purely because of their nature (pure set up) they rarely tend to give a true picture of what an average episode will be like. 3 episodes always gives you a decent idea though. Also, House was good yah. Nice to see some characters CHILL OUT a little bit.

I thought the latest episode was great tbh. I ZOMGed at the end.

Finally caught up with this since it came back and... wow. Srsly, it's like a whole new show. Actually intriguing and main arc advancing storylines. I like very much. It does have the faint whiff of a show cramming 'answers' in though as it realises it may not get another season. I REALLY hope the twist with the lesbian-pregnancy-woman (still don't know half the character names) was just a bluff to out Charlie-From-Lost. It doesn't really makes sense otherwise, we've seen too much of her normal life outside her job and there hasn't been a HINT of her being eeeeeeevil.

I suffer pretty badly too. Really annoying in the Summer because I head out to the beach feeling happy about myself and then instantly turn into a snotty, sneezy, red eyes mess! Hayfever tablets never did anything for me either. I saw that machine last year actually Dazz, was meaning to pick it up but I could never justify a tenner on something that might not work. Glad to hear it's helped you out though, might have a wander into boots today and pick one up.

Haha thought it was one of the best so far. That intro thing you did for me was great, picked two of the worst pictures from my facebook The Doctor Wu bit at the end and you raging over lack of comments were my personal highlights for this ep. Couldn't make out the joke with the chewing gum over the sign though. I know some hate the puns but I personally enjoy them like I'd enjoy a cheap prostitute in a thorny park bush: VERY MUCH. Also tbh, if you're not even gonna bother watching it then take your negativity elsewhere!

To all the iPhone haters... You can't really 'get' the phone without spending a lot of time with it. A lt of the joy is the user interface which works perfectly unlike almost every other phone I've had which have been buggy as hell. Sure other phones have been able to change wallpaper forever but it's not exactly essential and the iPhone can do plenty other phones can't. The major plus point for me is the app store. It really makes my phone so much more than a phone. The breadth of apps around is astounding. Above all for me, it's the future of portable gaming. Fo serious. There are gaming experiences here that are completely unrivalled.
