Caris, it probably doesn't have flash. A couple of the sites report seeing the 'flash missing' icon when Jobs was browsing through the web. Why the hell did they show the normal iPhone Facebook app small screen and double sized?! Looks weird like that and surely with a device with a proper screen area, you'd just go to the normal facebook site? Gameloft game looks alright given that they had two weeks. Still do NOT like dual analog touch screen controls though.
-
It's available in 16 - 64 GB? Only?! Jeez I thought with this being the perfect device for playing movies and such on the go that it'd be a bit more than that.
-
So basically... a bigger iPhone. I'm glad the've redesigned some apps around the larger screen area rather than just have the same iPhone ones but bigger. The mail app looks very nice for example. So far though as an iPhone owner, I don't need this.

They see 100 blue eyed people instead of 99 so effectively are waiting for the night after all the blue people leave, at which point, they know they don't have blue eyes. Righhht?

I love nights like this, reminds me of E3. I'm gonna stay quiet about whether I want one yet as we really don't know anything. I probably do though. Damn no monies

Ahh thanks. Bit of a headfuck really, been pondering this most of the day! Soo when the green eyed guy says "I see someone with blue eyes" that is more of just a trigger to start counting the days rather than actually passing on the information of being able to see a blue eyed person?
-
I sort of get how it would theoretically spiral down like that but I don't really understand, it just seems like there's something missing. If all of the blue eyes know that the minimum anyone could be seeing is 98 then I don't get how doing nothing for 98/97 days (when they all actually realise noone will go in this time) puts them at any advantage.

Eyes problem... Firstly, Will yeah that was the issue I was having with it to begin with, thanks for clearing it up. This is how far I got with the actual puzzle after seeing the answer above. Well first, if I make it simpler and have 2 blues and 2 brown then... on the first night both the blue eyed people would see 1 blue and 2 brown and nobody would go. On the second day, they know that if there were only 1 person with blue eyes then they would have gone on the first night (because they wouldn't have seen any other blue eyes and come to the conclusion that they were the one with blue eyes) So on the second night both the blue eyed people would leave as they know there must be more than one person with blue eyes and as they can't see anyone else with blue eyes, it must be them. I get that far... but I don't get how the same logic applies for 100 people. Why the 100th night? Surely they would all realise that there will be 98 (?) completely redundant days of waiting? Even someone with blue eyes viewing the others would see 99 blue eyes and would assume (supposing that they themselves didn't have blue eyes) that all those 99 would see 98 others with blue eyes. Wouldn't it be the 2nd or 3rd night instead? *Brain explodes* And Zell...
-
Surely with no communication either nobody leaves (Can't be sure who the blue eyed person is) or everybody aside from the green eyed person leaves as the rest of them could all have blue eye eyes. And if they are perfect logisticians and make logical decisions instantly, wouldn't they come to the conclusion instantly?

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't say it's worse than useless. As Dazz said, you'd have to be pretty unlucky and it should recognise whether you're going into a deep sleep or coming out of one at the start of the 30 minute window. Okay it might not wake you at your lightest sleep but it wakes you at the lightest you'll be in the 30 minute window. It also does say it can take a couple of nights to calibrate itself to your sleep patterns. Used this last night but I woke up slightly before the alarm went off due to parents being noisy. It was really interesting to see the graph of my nights sleep though... hang on lemme upload it..

Wow an entire book, really? Yeah it is called the Monty Hall Problem I know originally a lot of people weren't happy with it but still? Really? Nope. If you hadn't have made a choice in the beginning and entered into the game after the host had opened one of the doors THEN it would be a 1/2 chance. Given true randomness you are 2/3 more likely to choose a door with nothing behind than the door with the car. The host then opens a door which has nothing behind. You are still 2/3 more likely to have chosen a door with nothing at this point, that fact doesn't change. So if you have chosen an empty door (2/3 chance), the host must open the other empty door meaning the switch door must be the car (2/3) So if you switch at this point you'll get a car, if you stick you'll get sod all. Granted if you originally choose the car and switch, you'll get nothing but the odds of originally choosing the car are 1/3. It's easier demonstrated with more doors. Say you have 1000 doors, 999 with nothing behind and 1 with a car. You choose one door to begin with. The odds of choosing the car are 1/1000. The host then opens up 998 empty doors leaving you with two left. One must be the car, one must be empty. Your original odds of choosing a car door have not changed (1/1000). There's a much higher chance (999/1000) that you picked an empty door, so if you switch you get the car. Grunch, with your problem does one person speak up each day and if so is it a random person each day?

Charlie, your first answer is wrong but the googled answer is right and it really is as simple as that.
-
Oui oui. But why.

It's not a trick question and is based on maths/logic.

Yeah, I promise it's not something stupid.

Ahhh! Nah, according to the app you go between deep sleep and really light sleep every couple of hours or so. So although you wouldn't feel completely regenerated after 3 hours, it'd still do it's best to make sure you wake in the lightest sleep possible. Actually, let me just screen grab the graph, easier than me trying to explain.
-
Not quite sure what you're asking there... but according to the instructions in the app... It uses a 30 minute window to wake you up in that ends at any time you specify. Apparently you go from light sleep to deep sleep and back again fairly frequently throughout the night.
