    Yeah I thought it was a top episode. Really well written. Good character story with bits of mythology scattered throughout.

    Don't worry, the latter bunch of episodes are pretty piss poor. Heroes is great at hype but never fails to disappoint. I think Season 2 (and the entire show to some extent) really got fucked in the ass by the writers strike. The original plans for that season looked awesome, the heroes were going to fail to stop the Shanti virus from being released and the latter half of the season was going to follow the effects of that. Looked really great. Alas, they had to halt production mid season so we were left with a sloppy 'saved the world at the last minute' ending. If only they'd had the balls to end the season on a massively pessimistic note (which was the original mid-season finale), we might not be quite where we are today. I also fucking loved David Anders as Adam Monroe. Great Villain. I bummed the actor previously from playing Sark in Alias though. Was rather shocked to find out that he isn't actually English.

    Couldn't agree more. Sometimes there are t-shirts that I really like the design of but haven't bought due to some retarded text choice.

    Alice in Wonderland What a visually bleak, dull film. Misses the point of the books entirely. Too much focus on an utterly boring performance from Burton's favourite bumchum, Depp. Bonham Carter was much better and could have done with some more screentime. A practically non-existant plot meant that a lot relied on the film's visuals which were in Burton's usual bleak, sugar coated goth style but just epicly uninspiring and REALLY rather ropey in places. It should have been like this...

    Whoop, Congrats! Deeeetaiiillllssss!!! Ohh reet yeah I know where that is I think. Right near the town centre? Oh! Gaer is where the missus lives, in the massive tower block with her papa. The only reason I get lost is because I never pay attention where I'm driving. Also, what is it with Newport and groups of people just seemingly doing nothing but hang around closed shop doorways?! Madnessss!

    I'm currently in Spytty Tesco car park waiting for the lady to finish work. An old woman has tried and failed 5 times to reverse park her sports car neatly into the bay in front of me. There are no other cars around. She keeps getting out, orbitting her car before getting in for another shot. I'm pissing myself laughing and I don't think it's helping. I'm so bored.

    Yeah, it is also meant to be a pun on blow your load as we literally blow our loads over gaming but yeah. It seemed a good idea last night but now I hate it. Ah well. Yeah I'll definitely have a fiddle about with the layout now, just picked a random default one and it is a bit small. Wanted to crank stuff out before we bothered with it too much.

We were intending to do a more straight gaming commentary/review blog but it's not really working out that way.     Possibly but I don't remember sonic rush and the GBA games looking bad. I like the backgrounds in this. I've been struggling to pinpoint what looks wrong but I think it's that the various art doesn't blend well as a whole. There're a few different styles going on and it results in quite a jarring image, almost like a cut and paste montage but not good.

    I hate saying this but does anyone think the character models look a little... average Flash Game? Gimme some old school sprites any day.
