I loved the battle system. It the first game where i have actually enjoyed, and been engaged while doing some level grinding.

Ah, I didn't see the third series in which he debuted, but point Taken. What a little dick he does look. However, he wasn't the only little shit in my Wife and Kids. The biggest load of crap was the character of Claire Kyle, who in season one looked like this this: but then looked like this on season 2: Ridiculous actor swapping.

Kudos to Gabby Logan, one the big moves during the January transfer window this season, moving from ITV to BBC after ITV didn't play her for the Champions League final. At the BBC she's looking to be playing regularly, and she wasn't too bad this morning with the Blackburn match. Her constant use of "allright chaps" made me chuckle. However, I still maintain the stance that she is only there to act as a bit of eye candy.

I agree, and seeing as (I'm pretty sure that) Final Fantasy VII was the first ever proper 3D RPG, it is why many people look on it with so much love. However, that's not to take any from the magnificence of Final Fantasy VII, plot-wise, even today it beats many other RPGs. Stocka, you should really play a 3D Final Fantasy game at some point. I remember you saying that you had never played one.

Indeed. I remember the GameFAQs message boards at the time of the Gamespot's 8.8 for Zelda. The highlight being the thread entitled "Jeff Gerstman was abused as a child", it was insane.

I know that's a parody of final fantasy fans and such, but are there still people I speak in such a dialect? I only see it nowadays when people are trying to mock the apparent fanboys that use it, yet I hardly ever see people seriously using that type of language. And I think personally, judging from the people among this forum, there are only a few big videogames fans who are one minded jerks that have ridiculously blinkered views. Like that guy on these forums who stated that the Final Fantasy exclusive to the NES was the best Final Fantasy, merely because it was a Nintendo exclusive. In my oh so humble opinion, that guy is the worst type of fan. Surely people agree?

I concur. Spending ages in one battle drawing 100 Hastes for each character so to junction, and then constantly getting "Rinoa drew 1 Hastes". God that was dull. Materia for the win says I.

You say that now but I'm sure as people get older lots of stuff intefers more and more such as wife, job, kids and they play games less and less and less. I mean just experiencing some exams almost completely killed my gaming hours, and that's just a poxy exam.

So have you actually played this game? Or are you stating that it is the best merely because it was a Nintendo exclusive? If you are, then just please go away.

This is about the first Baten Kaitos. I thought it better to post here than resurrect a thread/evil god - see what I did there Anywho how far am I from completing this? I'm currently at the Celestial Alps. I would consult GameFaqs, but I fear spoilers, as there have already been loads of unpredictable plot twists. To be honest the cycle the game is going through at the moment is a bit dull. It's all "go here, get this item, oh wait, you need a different item." That said, the battle system still remains sublime.

7 is clearly the best due to the revolutionary style of the game. However, my favourite is Final Fantasy IX. Just loved the traditional style, and the nice feel good plot.

Not quite, he has only scored 3 goals. However, I still think he's better in centre mid, but Fabregas is too good there. If he is to turn into the Pires we want then he will need to bang in a few more. I think in 03/04 Pires scored 15+

Seeing as CRT was mentioned, I thought it would be OK to ask a question here about one. OK. I have a CRT television with only 1 Scart socket, which is RGB enabled. However, my family need to have the VCR DVD combo thingy hooked up all the time, so that takes up the scart lead. Now if I want to play a console with RGB, I have to use that 1 scart socket in the back of the TV. The two scart sockets on the VCR do not produce an RGB signal, so currently I have to keep groping the back of the TV each time I want to play/end a game, and is generally just very inconvenient. My question is, would something like this, or this work? Would I still get the RGB signals?

What browser takes up hardly any CPU? I have a decade old laptop, and when using Firefox with some tabs it grinds to a complete halt. IE7 is slightly better, but are there any which use up only a tiny tiny amount of memory, which has tabbed browsing. Thanks
