Oh, I also read some online magazines. They're worth checking out if you haven't come across them before. They're both multiformat in a GamesTm style. Play.d & Press Start Online

Yes, I'll admit, I do get a small elitest feeling when I do buy the magazine but I don't buy it for this elated feeling, I buy it for mainly it's articles/editorials as they are well written pieces which cannot be replicated well online. Also, the news sections in magazines should anylse news more and it's implications. As websites mainly just state the news, they don't delve into it's meanigs.

What magazines do you read, why, and your opinions on them. I was going to say gaming magazines as this is probably the majority of what people purchase but I'm sure many of you buy other publications, like maybe Kerrang, or the Beano and I'd be fascinated to hear why for example intelligent people here may buy Heat or Closer or Now or some other (imho) drivel. I will go first. :awesome: GamesTM Stylish multi-format magazine with well written articles catering to a mature audience. It's good as it has none of the blantant fanboyism you see in other single format magazines. They also have an abundance of great features and developer profiles. Real value for money as four English pounds gets you 180 pages of gaming goodness. Edge Again, majoritvely the same reasons as GamesTM but Edge seems to cater for an audience much more involved in videogames just for fun. There are numerous articles on the industry and game creation which are interesting to read as I am interested in the industry. However, they are a wee bit elitest and sometimes there articles are more abstract than required. Their writing style needs the upmost attention, and I often find myself re-reading a paragraph to get what they are on about. Only just started buying it, and I see it has a progession from GamesTm. They are notoriously harsh though in their reviews. Official Nintendo Magazine Detested NOM, but this new slightly stylised magazine seems to be good. Not fantastic, and lacks a lot of the personality you used saw in NGC but they have good exclusives and features which make up for this. It's a nice big magazine and I'm encouraged by the free gifts, however, I hope to see less fridge magnets, I found these nigh on pointless. Their reviews are basic, catering for a mass audience, and they are wanting to appeal to older as well as younger so they are not as complex as say Edge. Only thing that irrates me is how guides are stuffed into the magazine. I think in this day and age were the majority of the audience either don't like to cheat/be guided through a game or if they do they just visit GameFAQs, these guides are a waste of space. That's my list. I used to buy NGC before it went under, although I will certainly pick up their new publication as I am somewhat a magazine whote. But what about you?

Man, I found Maths calculator to be my best exam yet. Wasn't struck dumbfounded by any question. Such a good feeling coming out of those exams. However, got an awful week ahead of me. Physics and Chemistry which I believe i will bomb in as I haven't revised enough for, and Business Studies because we didn;t have a teacher for half the year *angry face*

Funniest thing I've seen in a long time But anywho, on the whole I agree with you, I too think he has a game plan going in being the nice innocent sweet one who everyone looks after, and he's the one who cooes to whoever has a problem. Much like Pete actually. However, I do think he is amusing as he knows hardly anything about the world, in respect to certain things. It was great with him trying to find out what bondage and such was, talking to Pete (!?) and Lea about and his mouth just hanging when he found out, or when Ashylene was telling him how she saw girls with stickers on their breasts and were only wearing g-strings. But, as I said, I'm not sure. I think many people go on their being majoritvely themselves and they find out what works and what doesn't. For example, Nikki. I think she soon wised up that nobody liked her moaning so she stopped it, or Sam, who, with the help of Ashylene, realised she had to tone down all her niceness. In Glyns case he just plays the sweet little kid, and that is clearly working as he got invited to the dinner and he got no nominations last week. He has the highest intelligence of all the housemates and I think it was a very wise move in not siding with either group in the beginning as the people that did, no have no bonds with the other group. Like Richard and Grace. Oh, and where did Glyn's glasses come from?! I've never seen him wearing them before.

I haven't reallly read many, but looking at the sites that are linked to, I found I enjoyed the Woosel one about the Lost game the most.

I know what you mean I got hayfever for the first time this year. Is that possible? I mean I've never gotten it in previous years. It's horrible, I sneeze about 6 times in a row, and my eyes itch so much I want to scratch them out.

The BBC raised the point yesterday, but why the hell did Sven take Walcott when he is obviously not prepared to use him, instead making J.Cole play as a striker. I, despite being an Arsenal fan, think Walcott should not have been taken and Defoe/Bent should've been, as you can count on him to bring goals, and be prepared and experienced such big games before. Walcott, as much as I like the lad, hasn't got a great goal scoring record *read, no scoring record* in the past year like Bent or even Defoe had. Me thinks that Sven has made this decision, and suddenly realised he has majorily cocked up and seen that Walcott isn't ready but just doesn't want to admit it for fear of being labelled the fool he is. From yesterdays game it is evident he's a bit thick when it comes to substitutions, in comparison to Murinho or other managers, who bring on subs to positively change the game, Sven brings on subs and they have a negative impact.

I thought the pranks played were rather pathetic. I mean the one with Ashley Cole nothing really happend. Some guy started shouting about his money... that's all, it wasn't like a trick or anything, it was, quite frankly, boring. What made it worse though was that "Rio" was in stitches at these nonchalent events.

I was irratated that that Suzy person that won. Of all the 34 possible winners of golden tickets she was the person I thought least deserving. Her husband spent £4,000 on 6 boxes of KitKat's to get her a winning ticket FFS. I wanted someone funny to go on who just accidently found a ticket, who bought a KitCat just to eat, not to open. Like if there was an old man like in the advert that would've been quality. Isn't it just the worst when you can see someone wants it too much? Or just as bad when you can just get your partner to buy it for you, no matter the cost. It's exactly like Willy Wonka when the fat spoilt kid gets his dad to get him a ticket. He fortunately came to a sticky end, will our Housemate do the same? Let's hope so. That said, she's fairly hot. I see her doing Nuts or Zoo when she gets out. Nikki is great, not only is she hot (althouh even more when she's drunk and horny,) but she is also one of the most amusing housemates. Best bit last night was Nikki in the bath () and then laughing her ass off when Sam fell over and hurt herself leaving the bath room. She's so funny in the diary room if you look past her moaning and take it lightly. Loved her comments about Sam after Sam said she needed a good shagging, "That MAN BEAST" etc

Odd. In my school I only had French listening, reading is next friday? What is in the reading exam? I presume you are doing higher right?

Play Shenmue, I swear I'd be a much more capable forklift driver if I were to put next another person who has never driven a forklift before and who hasn't played Shenmue.

Bah, back to England squad discussion. I am bloody sick to death of people criticising Owen Hargreaves. He's a quality defensive midfield player who is intergral to Bayern winning the Bundesliga. The manager himself admitted he couldn't imagine a Munich midfield without him. People get justly on his back because a) he is always a sub and people expect subs to come on a produce something wonderful and score like Defoe can do. b) He plays in Germany and so people dont see him week in and week out performing for Munich. I can tell you, I bet bloody Jenas wouldn't get into the bayern munich midfield

Had maths today and went O.K., However, I'm not one of these people to come out of exams claiming it was "piss easy" or "a peice of piss" or "it was sooo easy and I had sooo much time to spare" etc. I just hate people like this when you've had a hard exam, and also, I feel these cocku arrogant fellows are setting themselves up for a fall. Back on maths, glad I did my revision. It was good they had a histogram question as I find them fine to do and they give lots of marks

It's a Maths one, trust me, I got it from the bitesize site you love so much (I presumed that as your have their little iconic fish as your avatar) And it's Laguna, NOT, Languna.

Gah, I was searching for an episode guide and I what I got was a some pokemon erotica. That is real bad, I can imagine wee kiddies searching the Internet for Pokemon cheats or what patch of grass to find Milktank and they get smut like this, it also disgusting involves the pokemon in the indecent acts. I never knew Pikachu had a 5 incher. I won't post it in it's entirety as it's definetly explict, but here is a wee taster and how it ends. "Misty?" Nurse Joy asked. "Yes?" "It seems you've been bruised in your pelvic regions."

i'm doing higher and I had one day during term I was had sneaked into the intermeidate class and they were doing an a practice paper, it I have to say it's probably one of the easiest exams I've ever seen. The questions were ridiculously simple. Just adding and substracting in premise. However, I got in the high ninties yet the highest you can get with an intermediate paper is a B. My oh my, I woud love if the higher paper had simple questions like the intermediate one. I mean look at this, this isn't even Maths FFS, it's just looking at a graph.

My God, the plot is repetitive as hell. After the second series the only good episodes were the ones in which there was a gym battle, otherwise it'd be the "gang" are trundling along, they meet someone with some type of problem, they become friends or rivals, team rocket comes along, both of them unite together to battle team rocket, they become friends, they promise to meet again. End of. But still, they still hold some kind of nostalgic charm, I still cannot bring myself to delete the 22 gigs worth of episodes I have. And I found the new characters in season 4 really weren't very appealing, I mean Tracey was bad enough, but that little geek and the girl. Gah.

I see, I was just seeing if there were seperate GCSEs for each religion, but, as I thought, there aren't, just a whole round "Religious Studies" GCSE. I wish there were as RS GCSE is pretty easy.
